here is some more!!!!!! I still can't cap, I think it is because I have too many codecs because before I downloaded some codec packs I was able to do caps. Oh well, can someone help out with a cap.

What media player are you using?
What codec pack did you recently install? You said codec packs, but I hope that's a typo and you only installed one.

I have the Klite codec, but I also have a couple players, I started having the problems when I installed the klite codek pack, but if I uninstall it, I can't play some of my videos.

Ok, but specifically, what media players are you using?

I downloaded the full Klite codec with all of it's componets, media player classic, real media, DIVX, windows media player 10, quicktime alternative, and nero showtime

With regards to Media Player Classic the problem is probably in your settings.

Open up MPC click on:
View
Options
expand Playback
click on Output

Your settings should match the image I have posted here. This should solve your capping problem. Hopefully :)
