This is very probably my last post to OCC. To be perfectly honest the amount of time spent looking on Photobucket and other groups/areas of the web to find genuine amateurs to post on here doesn't seem worth the effort. The posts get very few responses......and 25% of those are critical in the negative sense...ALL from newbies. I don't mind from established members, they spend time hunting down pics to post and are entitled to criticise...but it irks me that some folk who have NEVER contributed a single pic whinge and moan. Let them get off their backsides and contribute instead of leeching..... :rolleyes:

Hi Mike, I'm a bit puzzled about you saying you were getting negative comments about your posts! I had a quick look through your recent posts and didn't see any that contained any critisism about your posting. Did you mean the comment about body jewelery that someone posted? That's just a personal preference thing! Anything that is felt to be rude etc is removed as soon as a member of the mod team see it.

I find and most people comment on the friendly atmosphere we have here at OCC.

However, if you take a look through the posts of even the most prolific guys, comments are rare as most people just lurk. I could certainly take the time to do more "thanks" type comments, but I have to be honest that I only find maybe 10% of the stuff here is worthy of it. However, it is still the best site I've ever seen for finding and posting to. If you're frustrated, take a few weeks off, but don't go away forever. Your stuff isn't bad at all. And if I pissed you off with the nipple rings comment on the redhead post, sorry. The chick was definantly worth posting. I just hate 'em.

When you say the negative comments come... ALL from newbies...that in itself is something to consider. As for myself, I don't know what the total membership is on this site, but in my eyes there's only 50 or so. The members who have made the effort to post pics and vids, and show support with intelligent well meaning dialogue, are the only "true" members on this site. The rest are only spectators who never made the team. If I make a post and someone complains about it, who only has 1 or 2 posts himself, I'll either ignore him or tell him to kiss my ass, depending on my mood (of course, I don't think I've ever received a complaint from such a member). I'm sure that most of the "true" members on this site have some understanding of where you're coming from, but on the other hand, as I mentioned earlier, the minority of us are a team, and no one wants to see their teammate get knocked down or kicked out of the game. Get back up, ignore the jeers, hear the support, and continue to be a valuable, well respected member. Stick around buddy...we need more guys like you around here. :)

Well, I hope you reconsider. I've liked some of your threads, although I may not have posted comments.

From my perspective, a bored middle-aged married woman (who is straight, by the way...I just like looking at naughty women posing), I really don't care if anyone comments or not. I don't post everything I run across, just those things that I personally like and that turn me on. If there are comments, then it's great to know that some folks share my turn ons. But if they don't, hey...I still like what I posted. Ultimately, I post for me.

I've found the newbie remarks to not be terribly annoying...I just ignore 'em.

In any event, I've received many private comments from other guys here, so I know that some people appreciate my posts. I can say that everybody is pretty darn friendly here. A couple of guys have been asses when messaging...the ones that have, I just ignore 'em.

I guess you could probably consider me a lurker. I don't post but I do enjoy checking out what you guys all find. I do feel greedy that I take from you guys and I want to give back, but it isn't so easy. I spend a lot of time looking for pics and it is seldom I come across something on here that I haven't seen posted already. But even if I don't think something I've found is good, I should go ahead and post them anyway, because chances are someone will like them. I think I may have to actually start contributing and I hope more people will do the same so this will be the best it can be. It would also help if people would stick to just positive comments. Maybe it is a good thing a lot of people keep their mouths shut. :D

a "Newbie" here on OCC. But, I was invited to join it, perhaps from the owner himself--who may have seen my work on another site. In any case, I'm NOT a newbie when it comes to participating in forums, chat, pic posting, moderating, managing AND commenting---even contributing never-before-seen private photos. Now, I'm not a paid member and that may be an issue with some folks. I am on a limited income now and I just don't have the wherewithal to toss money hither and yon, just for entertainment's sake. And, I've never paid for something I can get plenty of, free.

However, I have contributed numerous pics here on OCC--many from my very own personal stash of work I've done myself, or have scanned from my own personal collection. Comments on my contributions have been very favorable and that has encouraged me to post more. As a prolific semi-pro photographer in my younger years and a collector of retro/vintage porn, I have thousands of images to share with those with whom I feel comfortable. I think the folks here at OCC are a fine bunch, who've become friends over time. Sure, you're going to meet an asshole here and there. Even on OCC. But that's such a rarity, since the owner will eventually dump the jerk. But, that's what you get from the anonymity of the internet. Sort of like the heavy-breathing obscene phone-callers before the days of caller-ID and backtracing calls. People do seem to grow a stiffer backbone, knowing they're anonymous to those whom they're bothering. I did meet one such asshole on another site and "his" comments bordered on downright bizzare and frightening. The site's owner traced down his ISP and reported him to the local law enforcement---hopefully the jerk was nailed, prosecuted and put away.

I'll continue to surf OCC as my time allows and I will comment when/where I deem it fitting and proper. Just saying "nice" to add to a posts hit-count is pretty redundant, in my book. And I have NEVER made a derogatory comment here about anyone's thread. So, Mike. If you're honestly leaving---I wish you well. But, I'm hoping a short break and some fresh air might change your mind. :)

As you've seen from the previous posts, there's nothing but love for you here ;) There isn't anything additional I could add that's already been said. Stick around, bro. If I based my participation here or any site like this one on feedback alone, I'd be very discouraged. You can't do that. There are too many valuable members here who do contribute and the mods do a great job of keeping this site running. And they now have the new OCC members only sites. I can't wait to see what these guys have brewing for the future of this site. It's gonna be good, I'm sure. So hang in there and come on back when you're ready. I honestly don't believe you will find another forum of this quality anywhere else.

I was more than a little surprised ( and embarrassed ) at the response my post aroused.

Not much more to say than that I'll take on board the advice offered and will ignore the few negative comments that flew my way...and just get on with (hopefully ) supplying pictures that the majority of this great group appear to enjoy.

A sincere thanks for the suport and advice....I'll try and make it up by searching even harder for new stuff!!

I was horrified, and then relieved as a result of this thread. I saw you were leaving and thought OH NO!. Your most recent comment though has relieved my heart. I agree with a previous reply to this, in that I do not know where the likes of you and NormanBates find all your stuff. It is just awesome. I have posted a very few pictures, and have decided that the best way to say Thank You to all the amazing posters on here was to buy the One Click Pass. I know it's not verbal confirmation, but the money that is spent on that helps to keep the site up.

I would encourage other members here who, like me, do not have the expertise to contribute pictures, to consider an annual donation of $36.50 to help keep the site up. (access to the video forums and other sites, such as Vicky and Stephanie's site doesn't hurt the deal any.) It's really the best deal available as far as Adult websites go. Most of them cost you 36.50 or so per month, and you look at basically the same thing day in and day out. With this, there's no telling on any given day WHAT you might find.

So Mike, I'd like to verbally thank you for your postings here, and thank you for your willingness to stay. As far as the rest of the members (especially "junior members" such as myself), say thanks once in a while, and consider dropping a little cash to help keep this place up.

crabbing i agree with you, I do not post pictures but I do not have the time I rarely even get the time to come here anymore. 4 children and a full time job do not allow me the time, i greatly appreciate it and all those who do takw the time and no i do not comment often, nor do I have the time, it is rare. Keep that in mind. Crabbing has agreta point look at th eviews not the comments. I am glad you came back, this is the best forum out there and it people like you that make it th ebest, but do you really need your ego stroked. hell all i need is my dick stroked and I will be happy til death.
