This morning I logged in to this:

You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never


This came as quite a surprise, and I sent feedback to the mods asking for a reason, but it seems like everyone was getting this message for a bit instead of the message that the site was down for maintenance.

Just want to let you know, in case the maintenance message and the permaban message have gotten crossed up somehow.

It was a temporary software glitch. Many people mistakenly got this message.

The problem should be resolved now.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

I knew that it was BS when it told me before I could even enter my login. Lol

I tried just accessing the site incognito VPN'd in different locations, but the same exact message, which made me think "damn, they came for VEF, PZ, etc and now this one too?!" Phew!

I’ve never been found innocent of anything I wasn’t guilty of… except this time I couldn’t remember what I did. This got me worried.

After 21 years, I had a OMG moment. :D Still showing my IP as banned. I'm able to get in via VPN.

I was wondering what I did! lolol

I guess we are all breathing a sigh of relief!

I received one today with all the others!

Did anyone get banned message again within last few hours? It seems to come and go.

Yes, I got it an hour or two ago. Tried from a different browser, with no cookies, and still got it, before I coud even attempt to login, so realised it must be a site problem.

Yep! Got it few hours ago...

Wrote to the support and the issue seems to be solved since I'm here again.

No clue what happened really - probably a glitch in the system. No real harm done.

I really saw no point to even being on the internet any more if I was banned from here. I was panicked. I didn't think I did anything wrong other than like or thank one too many videos.

Right? I'd at least prefer to remember a fuckup that bad! I know I didn't drink THAT much last night.

Delighted it was a glitch, I seem to remember it happened before, well over a decade ago. Thanks for fixing it quickly.

Thanks to OCC Team for setting things right. I was really afraid I’d be permanently banned without explanation.

Went off again last night. Has the site been hacked, as i have been getting lots of dodgy spam over the last couple of days ?

I appreciate all you guys and gals do on managing the I/T side of this website. Lots of nights, weekends, and coffee I would suspect, following by your fav adult beverage when success is reached. Again....thanks for all y'all do.

You of all members should know that you would never be banned from this website. ;)

If you are "banned for life" before you can even enter your login, you know that it's not you personally.

The only one that caught me by surprise was several months ago, I was getting that message after I logged in. That one made me wonder.

However, I hadn't done anything but look for weeks. Lol

Got the message yesterday too. Wondered what I had done wrong? :eek:

It got even more creepy when a local "amazon" served me a message my IP had been used in attacks. Now that got me worried. Recently there was some maintenance at the ISP so I might have gotten an address from someone very naughty.

Anyway, it all seems fixed right now.

I thought my porn addiction was finally about to end
