Cape Town cancelled
 

The Cape Town version has been cancelled: capetownetc.com/news/cape-town-cancels-world-naked-bike-ride-following-backlash

The article doesn't exactly make clear what the 'backlash' is, but seemingly the authorities have not given permission for it to go ahead unless there is no nudity, which sort of defies the point.

2026 season
 

Whilst the optimist in me hopes that the new Fli©kr safe search rules may revive WNBR threads here, as those who sign up to paid accounts share images here, the pessimist thinks that the opposite will be true- the new rules will decimate adult content and these threads will further decline. :(

That said, I'll be signing up to a Fli©kr subscription in June-July and happy to post what I find here. Here's an intial list of the UK rides this year- feel free to update if you know more...!

are the best months to ride naked in the Northern Hemisphere. Not surprised the Portland ride is in July.

Brighton has been postponed, apparently. No great loss, if true. This was once up there as among the very best of these events.

Anyone know what Yorks like, I will be around there that week?

Manchester had its ride tonight, here are a handful of shots from the ride. This photographer is worth following because he tends to post photos a few at a time rather than all at once.

I did the ride tonight. Huge turnout with the great weather, but almost entirely men. Maybe 10 naked women.

Two notable things. 1) The girl with the full mask and sunglasses in the second photo has an excellent body, nice butt and tits, a wonderful full bush. 2) The redhead from the past several years was back, and she had a tampon string hanging out of her vagina. I felt that made seeing her naked body even more intimate.

Well I cannot find very much at all online regarding Manchester. Sign of the times I guess. London tomorrow, hoping for better shared videos but YouTube now seems to be a bust!

Something interesting?

Just seen an announcement on the official WNBR London webpage that they received notification less than 36 hours before the ride was due to take place that the riders won't be able to congregate at Forum Magnum Square. This is likely to cause chaos if they try to enforce it. The message to the organises came from the manager of County Hall Apartments, a building actually outside the square itself where many riders gather to take photos and such, so I'm not sure if he actually has any authority to enforce something like that. The building behind the lady in this photo is County Hall Apartments.

Also, after 22 years of supporting this event, St Thomas' Hospital are no longer allowing riders to use their toilets during the Forum Magnum stop.

Leake Street near York Road is where the accessible ride is going to meet. I think there is a re-route but it will be chaos as many will expect (and go to) Form Magnum Square.

How exactly do the landowners expect to enforce banning 1000+ cyclists from a publicly accessible area?

I realised why the organisers are so concerned - I didn't realise that many older, less able and disabled riders actually start at Forum Magnum and do a shorter ride. Those people will mostly not have seen the heads up and will still gather there. It'll be interesting to see what transpires but the police gave the whole route including rest stops and congregation points the OK, so I don't think there will be much that can be done if loads of cyclists turn up.

London was BAD. No Forum Magnum stop at all (as per the post above), very overbearing marshals, and almost no women at all (less than 10 who weren’t elderly). The weather was great, and there were lots of men.

By far the worst London ride in the decade I’ve been doing it.

It's over, what used to be a very special day in my year has had its day. Along with much the things I loved on this site for, has gone. I'm lucky to have experienced its 'golden era' from 2010 to 2017.

You are 100% correct. I will just say that there were two really cute 20-somethings that did the ride today. One of them had "people over profit" painted on her front, and other had "more rack less frack" painted on her front. They were awesome. The first girl had a trimmed bush and the second girl was hairless down there.

Do you have any pics of them?

Not sure if it's over. There were a good number of very attractive young ladies taking part today, if that's your thing. It's just that the hastily rearranged route meant that they rarely came together in one place. Having ridden myself, I can attest to this. I spent so much time talking to riders that I almost forgot to grab a few snaps. Had a number of chats with the legendary Cristina and her OH and they are both lovely and very funny people.

Shot a bit of video too, this year using a handlebar mounted GoPro. Absolutely no idea if I got anything worthwhile. Had to use a wide angle lens a lot, which never usually bodes well. But there was so few opportunities to get ahead on the pack. Very enjoyable day nonetheless.

That's indeed what I meant - I was only counting fully nude women. There were very few this year.

They did get naked, most of them, just away from the places where a mass of snappers lie in wait. It was a great ride. But this probably won't be reflected in the (increasingly smaller) number of photos which are widely shared online.

despite that I said I wasn't going to go, I did, and my experience was slightly different.

true that there weren't many women but the ones that did attend were quality.

I only took video. Snap of the ladies in question below. I agree they were the best, and were 100% there for cause, (unlike the onlyfans girls from other years).
There was a lot of photography, I hope that at least a percentage of these surface, considering that flickr is practically gone. I'll upload a few more snaps later.

To prove my point about the number of ladies who were there, a good number of those posted above I either never saw at all or only glimpsed in passing. But for the last minute block on being able to use Forum Magnum Square as the gathering point, this year would have been considered decent by recent standards.

I shot a fair bit of video. Not looked at much yet but I do seem to have got a few worthwhile bits. I'll be uploading videos to my Twitter/X account as that's the only place that I know of where you can host videos without the likelihood of them being taken down for nudity or expiring fairly quickly like GoFile. Free accounts are restricted to 2min 20sec and 1080 resolution but that's not too bad. No offence but perhaps as a man yourself it would be beneficial if you stepped away from the event and helped to steer it away from being a massive sausage fest?

It is well and truly over and will never be the same.

It coincides with the changing profile of London, which was different 15 years ago. Women no longer want to feel like a chip being thrown amongst seagulls of pervy men from cultures that don’t respect women. My wife is one of those. She used to find it hilarious exciting fun, but we stopped in 2022. He first was in 2015 (mine 2009) when, yes, there, were thousands of spectators. But they were laughing and enjoying the spectacle. In 2022, when she disrobed she was the only naked female for tens of metres surrounded by hundreds of single men taking photos, staring at her in a creepy way and following her when she walked away. She put her clothes back on 5 minutes later and wanted to leave. I rode naked and she in her clothes. That was our last WNBR.
