Poll: swimwear dilema
 

We're all enjoying the trend of skimpy bikini bottoms and thongs, but equally disappointed at the lack of toplessness on beaches and pools.

There's also the regular outcry about the unfairness of women wearing next to nothing, whilst men get to wear long shorts.

So the survey is to ask, if you had to just pick one option, would you go for:

Careful what you wish for. Some of us look better with our bikini top on.

I always believe,

Fine feathers make fine birds—just as Buddha needs gold to shine.

Not saying naked not good. But I do believe some fabric can maximum a person's beauty.

While I am a boob lover and would greatly enjoy topless (and braless) gaining more social acceptance, the fact that thongs and itty bitty bikinis are now acceptable for all in a pool or beach setting is a rather nice development. Women who would never dream of showing a hint of nipple are following current fashion and walking around 95% nude without a care in the world. Good trade off I think. The fact that these same women would be mortified to walk outside the house without their bra on is rather comical, but not everything in the world is rational

I would simply enjoy women to be free to wear whatever they want. Like on the clothing optional beach, from what the jehovahs wear down to nothing. Fun for everybody.
I would actually enjoy chatting with two fully clothed jehovahs women while I am nude. Such things make life more colorful 😆

As tantalising as the first is I’d choose option 2 as that way you can rank a woman against the women who’ve came before them proportionally as the dress code is the same

Interesting question. I always used to ask female friends when i was young if they would rather be on a beach in a thong but with a top, or if they wanted to wear a regular bottom they would have to be topless.
It was about a 50 50 split, my survey skewed slightly towards girls with smaller tits opting for tops and top heavy ones being ok with bring topless. Some loved thr idea of being topless or in a thong but seldom both. Of course there was one friend who when asked the question replied "Why cant i be topless and wear the thong?" She was the hot sl*t type for sure... still is now too! Def not shy

I find the thought of a woman in just swimming shorts so sexy, partly because I've never seen it.

One person choosing to do that would be so bold and daring.

But the thought of it being the norm where, at any swimming pool or beach, everyone would be the same and tits out mandatory, is just as hot.

When nudity (topless or fully) becomes the new normal, all hotness, sexyness and eroticness will disappear. Partially because there is so many to look at, partially because once you see it all the mystery us gone.

Nevertheless, I do like it when women, including my wife, go topless or naked at the beach or sauna. For some reason I do like to look at different shapes and sizes.

Also I do think women would prefer topless or nude if it was more accepted and guys would behave less like that wolf in some cartoons. Like my wife always says : "Nothing beats the feeling of my breasts floating when swimming topless/naked".

Just asked both my wife and gf this. Both said they’d rather go topless while wearing shorts as opposed to wearing a thong bottom and bikini top. I think I need to put this to the test in the real world

Most of the beaches I go to do not allow females to go topless. Thongs are allowed, so I prefer that option, as otherwise I’m only seeing bikinis at best.

Can we not choose and have both
 

Think about a beach or private pool that had both depending on the day of the week and were mandatory.
Four days a week must wear tops, the other three days required topless. See if the women go to both and comply.

Maybe it creates a dare or urge for the women that have never gone topless to give it a try at least once.

It would be great on top day hoping to see them next on topless day,I know I would be.
Trying to imagine what their tits may look like hanging free when topless.

I try to imagine their shape along with their areola size and color, so much fun.

I remember many years ago going to a resort that had both clothing and nude beaches separated. The bus ride was a couple of hours long. The treat was seeing women on the bus and wondering which beach are they going to visit. Then seeing them on the nude beach was wonderful.

Maybe the choice should be t-shirt + thong vs. shorts + topless? Many women I'd love to know which of those they'd choose, if they had to pick one.

I disagree. My wife and I have regularly frequented topless and/or nudist beaches, and the nakedness soon becomes "normal" and you tend not to notice the nudity, but if an attractive woman walks past wearing a bikini........

But I totally agree with this.
When nudity is normal, an attractive lady in a bikini raises attention and interest. All eyes will be drawn to her.

In this scenario, everyone is equal, so topless would be the norm as it is for men.

My vote goes to the revealing bikinis including tops.

You look amazing in a bikini but even better without one.

You shouldn't say things like that to a simple housewife. You'll give me a swelled head.

She loves topless swimsuits
 

My wife loves topless swimsuits where she gets a booby tan. But she also likes to get her bottom tanned with a thong or g-string! I also like her naked!

Nope. I know eveyone is different, but I have never seen one woman at a beach who looked better before she took her bikini top off. Don't care how big, small, pale, dark, old, etc the shape and curves of a topless woman under the light of the medateranian sun, you all look bloody beautiful!

To be honest when you're at a nude beach and the occasional woman has her bikini on, both top and bottoms, and isn't playing along, it feels weird and awkward. I don't find it sexy at all. I can remember only two women that were near us on the beach this year that were the only two who didn't even go topless. Both were very attractive and one wore a very small thong. But the confidence with how she lay there in a sea of boobs just felt weird for some reason. I was looking round for a hidden camera with her tbh.
The other was a lady in her late teens clear with her mum and dad, both nude. You could tell she was mortified and wasnt getting her norks out. I felt terrible for her.

For me, it more so raises the question: "Why is she even here?"
Sometimes that question is simply answered by seeing a naked SO next to her. Or seeing her with a group of friends; and some of them are naked/topless.
Ok...she was "convinced" to come by someone else, with the argument that "it's ok to keep on your swimsuit."

My wife will go topless at a topless beach. She'll also stay naked at a nudist resort. She just prefers to fit in with the "local culture."

Topless and thong
 

Honestly I can’t answer this question. I always have been a big fan of topless sunbathing. Can’t stand that we barely see boobs out nowadays. But since thongs have become a trend I can’t strand swimsuit with any cover. I feel like it’s almost disgusting to have coverage. So I guess it has to be both so topless in a thong

Swimwear dilemma
 

My choice in this debate is my wife's birthday suit. She looks great in it.

They say a picture is worth 1000 words.

I would say I prefer the topless choice. Where I live, most women wear thongs, but topless is definitely not the norm here, as it is in many European countries. But it is a difficult decision.

The best option would be if 50% of the women would wear shorts and go topless and the other 50% would wear thongs with tops on.

Because the trend started with younger people, full coverage makes the wearer look older.

And, in many cases, the extra fabric makes their bum look bigger.

Given these are things most women don't want, I think they would also agree with this sentiment and it's why thongs have caught on so much.
