Lady Godiva, WNBR Queen
 

I'm sure many of the users on this site are aware of the great Lady Godiva. I was surprised that a thread for her had not been created yet so I took it upon myself to start it. She is easily one of the best riders in the entire history of the event, and the photos and footage that has surfaced online are just incredible. I only have so much of her, but I'll share what I have.

That's all I have of her as far as photos, I have maybe one low res clip of her that is 5 seconds long. If I can remember where I saved it, I'll post it! :D

After the way she became synonymous with the London WNBR, it’s easy to forget that she actually became something of a naked celebrity a little before that; when during the Fourth Plinth art installation in Trafalgar Square she spent a half an hour atop a raised platform riding a rocking horse and doing a Q&A with the public wearing nothing but a rather fetching pair go-go boots.

One can still find a short, low-quality clip on tube sites, but we actually used to have the whole recorded livestream here on OCC. I know because I capped and posted it myself. Unfortunately, I lost that footage along time ago along with the rest of my archives, so I can’t repost it. But if somehow someone happens to still have that video in their collection, they’d be doing both myself and this board a solid by posting it again after all these years.

Gotta love how eager she is to be naked when she looks as good as she does :)

Right now it's on flickr, but I imagine it probably originated from her original blog or her original Twitter before it got deleted. Back when she first started out as a public nudity advocate (like 2009-2011), she used to post a lot of pictures from vacations, artistic photo shoots, and even some great public nudity shots posing at night near London landmarks. Like the original footage of her on the plinth, most of those seem long gone now.

Edit: I posted a couple of pics that I was able to find. I noticed there are a few others in this thread. But the best of the bunch (specifically the full nudes) seem to have vanished.

One more I couldn't get in before the editing window closed. As you can see, she used to post a lot of pics documenting her nights out in daring, "nearly nude" outfits. Like I said above, there were also nights where at some point she ditched the outfits entirely, but I can't find any of those pics now.

Interesting to hear her voice! She really has no fear about nudity!

Dug into one of my hard drives and found a bunch of pics including some clothed ones for variety. Also found her website/blog which it appears used to have links to the full Plinth hour footage and a few other significant videos including a naked interview which I assume picture 1 of this set is from. Unfortunately, I say used to as all the links are dead now. Hopefully someone somewhere saved those videos but I wouldn't count on it.

It plays on VLC Media Player just fine, which is 100% free to download and plays pretty much anything.

Knowing what we know about her I fully believe she would have attended that event naked if allowed.

Yeah. Like many nudist advocates I'm sure she's an exhibitionist at heart despite talk of "going back to nature" and the like. Hope she reappears at a WNBR some day.
