I just found this quote in the IMDB entry on Satan's Slave (1976) and was wondering whether anyone else knew of other similar situations.

"When the actress they cast to perform nude during the ritual in the opening scene and during a flashback later in the film couldn't show up because she was arrested, producer Les Young immediately volunteered his young wife, Moira, who was the associate producer, without consulting her first. When she objected, he convinced her they had no other options and would lose money if the film was delayed while they searched for another actress. She reluctantly agreed. At first, she was only going to be topless, but the day of shooting, Les and director Norman Warren told her it would be better if she were fully nude to give them more options for framing the shot. Moira agreed, but she told Les she wasn't happy about it. Though they had a closed set, she said later it was very embarrassing having to strip all her clothes off and lie on the ritual table stark naked surrounded by male extras and crew for hours while they filmed. To make matters worse, the extras were all wearing masks so she kept imagining all of them were leering at her breasts and vagina. Her breasts and pubic hair then ended up prominently displayed on screen while another nude actress rubbed her hands all over Moira's body. She joked years later that she can't imagine any other producer ever went as far as she did to help a film. She also said she now had more respect for actresses who performed nude because it was tough to do."

There is a woman named Susan Allenback, who works (or worked) as an assistant to director John Waters and Waters offered her short role in his film "A Dirty Shame" as Betty. The scene called for Betty to answer the door completely nude!

There is a DVD extra in which she talks about how Waters presented the role to her and how she spoke about it with her children and then agreed to do it and she was 52 years of age when the movie was shot.

One of the most infamous movies made, Cannibal Holocaust, has a scene where a native woman is sexually assaulted and later seen naked and impaled. The picture of the latter scene is quite famous.

According to IMDB the actress is Eva Bravo, but she’s uncredited. Other sources, including a booklet in a DVD of the movie says it’s actually the costumer for the movie stepping up to do that part.

She’s naked for both scenes and for the impaling scene she was sat naked on a pole on a bicycle seat with the other end of the pole in her mouth. She had to sit perfectly still in this position for quite a while.

Her name is Lucia Costantini. Most sites like AZ-Nudes and similar credit the nude scene to her.

I am certainly that I have run across several of these instances over the years, but I can't think of them on the spot, of course. As soon as any come to mind, I will definitely write about them (with citations)!

Kudos to Susan Allenback for doing that nude scene for John Walters at the age of 52. However, she was an actress as well as an actor's assistant.

Well, I stand corrected but I still count that scene as one of my favorites because in 2004, while MILF porn certainly existed, it wasn't common and to see a relatable 52 year woman totally nude was somewhat shocking and certainly memorable.

I've always liked it too. Hope I haven't spoilt it for you. As you say, its her age and relatability that makes it so memorable.

Our friend of ours who was pretty much the same age and shape as Susan Allenback in that scene, once answered the door naked to my fifteen year old son mistakenly thinking it was her own kids.

According to your link, she was more an extra than an actress before this scene. So, it's totally relevant with this thread. And I totally agree with you regarding age and shape. It makes this scene memorable. I would like to know why she accepted this scene. Maybe she wanted to prove her confidence and body positivity.

Unfortunately, I've lost the clip but if I remember correctly, I think she framed it (or implied) after talking to her children that it was "You only live once" type of situation and she did it because it would have been fun and gave her a bit of a rush.

Stella Lxfgren has been an extra in a few TV shows but her only speaking role to date is as "Nude Audience Member" in Sarah Silverman's short-lived, Hulu late-night talk show, "I Love You, America" and to be clear "Nude Audience Member" is exactly how IMDB lists her.

These snapshots are from the pilot episode. Sarah jokes about the nervousness of being on stage and the old trope of "imagining the audience naked" and further jokes that she would like to see actual naked people because Hulu has no censors and the camera pans to two naked audience members, Stella and a naked man.


Sarah makes some jokes, Stella giggles, laughs and even showcases some ENF tendencies. The camera also pans to Stella's vagina (although her actual vagina is not shown, just pubes which looks almost like merkin). Also for context, the image of Stella holding her censored hands is because Sarah made a joke about needing to censor something and she decided to censor Stella's hands instead of her breasts.

Stella was 54 years of age at the time of the episode. According to her Instagram, she knew the script called for nudity and she only agreed to it after discussing it with her husband and adult son. She also mentioned that she did it twice in front of two different audiences (although only one episode featuring her nude is available). She did mention that being nude was no big deal but a sex act would been off the table, she also mentioned being self conscious of her belly and nervous but eventually relaxing and having fun.

Our son was embarrassed as he's known the lady all his life. She seemed find it amusing, although did apologise to him. Later, she embarrassed him even more by telling everyone including my wife and I about it in front of him.

I've been on the end of those situations before where an adult shares an embarrassing situation with an entire group, so I know how he felt.

God. I would have died if that happened to me at that age and my parents found out about it.

So I'm guessing her family is pretty loose with the at-home nudity? Given that she answered the door nude thinking it was one of her own kids.

They're certainly not prudes.

I have spoken to some ordinary women who posed nude for charity in their forties and fifties, including my wife. What struck me was that they all found it an exciting, maybe thilling thing to do. Susan Allenback certainly looks like she's enjoying herself. It sounds like she only needed a credible reason and her kids permission to go for it and have fun. There may have been some extra cash in it for her too.

A few years ago, I spotted a poster for a University production of The Graduate. It caught my attention because it had a warning about nudity. I didn't go to see the play, but I did read a review of it afterwards. This heaped praise on the performance and bravery of a female post-grad student who'd appeared nude on stage as Mrs Robinson.

Way to miss the point. I'm just saying I love that there's an entire mainstream, non-sex-work industry where it's just expected that incredible-looking women will occasionally have to expose themselves to the whole world, then either act coy or openly joke about it in interviews afterwards.

My daughter was minoring in Theater Arts in college. Building sets, doing the sound and lighting, she is very good at the technical things. One Friday we decided to drive the 400 miles to surprise her with her birthday gift, an expensive camera she had been hinting very hard for. WE called on the way up and found her schedule, she said that evening she was working a play. We still didn't tell her the surprise, we figured we'd catch her after the play to give her the camera.

Am I being a prude, do I have to stay, we decided my wife would text me when the 3rd act started, she went back to her seat. She texted me in a few that Amanda was not on stage and everyone was dressed, so I went back in and watched the rest of the play. There was only a little nudity by the female leads. We stayed in our seats until we saw Amanda rolling up wire, we got almost to her and she saw up, jumped down and was excited to see us, we told her we had just arrived. She said she had a few things to do, but would meet us at this cafe was usually ate at.

She's a film crew member (variously an editor, assistant director, director, and camera operator, among others, according to IMDB).
