Anyone else having trouble playing videos?

Since the latest iPhone update (17.4.1) I’ve been unable to play videos on this site. Not having this problem anywhere else. Is anyone having the same problem?

I assume you have searched for something like
iphone update 17.4.1 problems

Some people seem to have had general problems with this update.

Otherwise:
Is this to do with your browser settings not automatically playing a video?
Do you get an error message? Can you give a screenshot of what happens/not happens?

I’m not having this problem on other sites and I’ve tried to play a video using 3 different browsers.

I get the preview photo then when I click to play it goes white and nothing happens.

I’m having the same problem. I did the update yesterday. When I try to play the video, the screen turns white

Switching to Desktop Style is a workaround for now

From what I've read in this thread is that it appears to be a specific problem with IOS 17.4.1

I have an iPhone running IOS 17.3.1 and do not have any problems playing videos. I will try to update it to IOS 17.4.1 now to see if I experience the problems others are having.

I’m having the same problem. Streaming video works for other website but not this one. Tried other browsers but same situation.

Just to double-check, everyone in this thread has updated their Apple mobile device to IOS 17.4.1 and that's when this problem started?

Thanks for your feedback while we troubleshoot this for you.

Yes, 17.4.1 upgrade is when it started

That’s correct

How about now? We made a small change. In theory, I think IOS 17.4.1 may be automatically trying to play a format of videos that they do not support. Hopefully now, they may be forced to play a version that is supported on their mobile devices.

Please give me feedback to let me know if this is fixed or not.

Or let us know if our solution broke something else in the process.

I’ve tried 3 or 4 videos and everything appears to be working fine.

Thanks.
