I’m interested in reading about anyone who has hired a professional to film and take pictures of them and their partner. It does not have to be explicit filming, but that is what we are considering. If you’ve done this, please share how it went!

My wife took bachelorette boudoir photos for me with a local female photographer that we found and vetted before our wedding. During our conversation, we brought up a couples shoot, and she was happy to take them. She had not done them before and said she would need to draft a consent for us, which is completely fine.

I asked what sort of limits/boundaries she had and was surprised that there really were none, as long as it was consensual. I had to be blunt and state I was talking about sex, which made me feel a little stupid when I got a “yes, I know” response, LOL.

We told her we would talk about it, and when we left, my wife was more enthusiastic about it than I thought she would be. We film and take pictures on occasion, but they are always amateurish. Nothing wrong with that, but the idea of being filmed/photographed by a professional and someone not preoccupied is exciting for us.

I’ve asked my wife what she wants to do, and her response is whatever I want. When I repeated, “whatever I want?”, I got a smirk and a shoulder shrug… which got me pretty excited about it!

Has anyone on OCC done this? I’d love to hear about your experience.

I didn't, but my wife did. She took some photography courses and started working taking pics for family and friend as a summer job. One of her friends asked if she would take some boudoir pics of her for her husband. My wife had had some taken for me, so she was enthusiastic about taking some on her own and had some ideas she wanted to try.

The woman wanted to do the shoot in her home and garden, they spent some time planning lingerie, locations, time of day, etc., then set the date. My wife went with her equipment and she assumed the husband would be gone, she thought this was a surprise. So they start out pretty tame, as they usually do, and worked up to more risque shots, when the husband appeared. My wife didn't have an issue with him watching, so they went through most of her planned shots when the woman asked if she would take some with her husband included.

At first he was clothed, hugging her, kissing, then some nice ones of the wife taking off his shirt, soon she was undressing him, my wife is no prude, so she just kept shooting until she was actually taking pics of sex.

Back east several of our friends were in the photography business in various forms.

I've mentioned this in other posts.

They often asked my wife to be their model for various presentations for sales or advertising brochures.
Some were shots where she was just holding the product, others were of her in the background, often there would be a male model with her.

Often they would start with very PG rated photos and then gradually work up to having a lot of sexy but tastefully done product photos. It depended a lot on the company and what the advertising angle was about. Mostly she had rather revealing clothing on, sometimes back shot topless, sometimes nude blurred background shots. Never explicit porn type. One client featured a series of tools they sold, they had calendars with women in bikinis, they also had a special calendar that had the same women nude, they never showed nipples or pussy, but the only thing they wore was a smile. She was also asked to pose for an advertising magazine that was placed in hotel and hospitality locations. They would go around to local entertainment locations and shoot photos of her looking like she was having fun. The adult was geared for the business traveler who wanted a little extra. The advertising in that magazine showed adult book and video stores, massage parlors, pick-up bars and the like. Of the 6 or so different photographers who used my wife as a model, every one of them also had extensive portfolios of her naked. They would often take these portfolios to show to their potential clients to get a general idea what they could do and to determine what the customer wanted.

I often wondered how many customers saw photos of my naked wife and what their comments were.

We've had some boudoir shots with male photographers, she enjoys it as it's a whole experience with the make up, champagne etc. Mostly topless stuff, or implied nude.

One photographer used her for some paid shoots for his portfolio, mostly normal stuff,
but he convinced her to lose the panties for one of the shoots which we unfortunately never go to see the images from. I did ask him a few years later and he said he doesn't have them anymore, which was a bummer. I'm still in contact with him though.

My wife enjoyed the glam side of her boudoir shoot, too. I didn't know it at the time, but she was fairly hands-on about how she wanted to pose and how she wanted things touched up. The photographer sounds like she was very open to that sort of collaborative back and forth, too. Kind of exciting to think about how collaborative she would be with the two of us. I would be happy with her simply capturing us with good lighting and angles. It would be an even bigger turn on having her direct us a little and be more involved. I guess it is a kink I didn't know I had, but it would be hot for me to hear her tell me to pull out a little or whatever.

We talked about it again this weekend, and I think we are going to go for it when we can align schedules and the photographer isn't booked crazy with weddings. Fall break isn't too far off, so maybe a mid-week appointment would work out.

After the Holidays a few years back we got to see and enjoy or at least I did, some boudoir shots that my buddy's Busty wife had taken as a gift she received!

The purpose of having those Studio pics done at least to us was to build some self confidence, as well as have some better looking pics that could be framed and hung on the wall too!
For the extra money your spending you would think that the Professional Studio should or would make a better picture with all of their knowledge on equipment / lights / settings / make-up & clothing!
For the normal women / wife that doesn't make the party or group circles, this takes them up a step to the next level~
My first thoughts on seeing those pics of my buddy's wife exposed on the walls of their bedroom, was thrilling~

Indym, to start off I have followed your escapades with your wife over the past couple of years, and have truly enjoyed every minute.

From what I have read, I would guess are young enough to be one of my kids, and your wife may be in the same age bracket as my oldest grandchild.
I have lived most of my life and you have most of your life before you.

One thing I have come to realize over the last 10 to 15 years is that you have only one opportunity at this life we have her on earth. I know, people say that all the time, but at some time in your life, if you take the time to contemplate your life as you have lived it, you will realize it and internalize it.

My wife would never consent to a glamour shoot. As a young woman she was Playmate beautiful. As I write this today I would love to have some professional glamour photo's of her.

I don't want to sound preachy, but if you want to do it and she is willing then by all means do it. If you don't, a time will come in the future where you will be kicking yourself for not doing it. The years make things wrinkle and sag.
My wife is still the most beautiful woman on earth to me, and when we turn out the light and make love she is still 23, but I would still love to have pictures of her in her prime.

Don't let the opportunity pass you by. Most of the thinks you will regret in life are the things you didn't try or do.

Your guess about age is probably right for my wife but not for me. I'm older than her (and very lucky), but I agree with your sentiment. We like to take pics and videos, as it is, and having a professional do it is exciting. Early in our marriage we took a short vacation at a resort area a short drive away that had multiple hotels that catered to couples. At the show the first night the MC announced they had staff photographers who could “come to your room and take adult photos you couldn’t get printed at home”.

One great opportunity you should not miss is pregnancy photos.

Funny timing, but our plan was to take some pregnancy progression updates, and our photographer emailed us on Monday asking when we wanted to schedule. L is 25 weeks now, and it is a great time to take some updates. We've scheduled a session for 5/27.
