We live in a high definition world with technology so amazing that you could almost call it magic. Here are two examples of how this wizardry can be used to enhance something and make it even more beautiful. Perhaps you have something you would like to see turned into high definition?

Here are a few more enhancements. In addition to enhancing the resolution (some are more dramatic than others) I've also color and contrast corrected the images to make them even better. Does anyone have any photos they'd like to see improved?

Good work here. What I'd love to see is some tech wizardry to enlarge the video of this lady stripping! From what I remember it was postage stamp sized, certainly lower res than the photo you've began with there.

Unfortunately not much can be done with the first photo, no detail to extract. I was able to enhance the second photo a little. I hope it pleases you.

Here you go. Given the original quality of the video this is likely the best it will ever be, unless of course someone has the original capture before some deinterlaced it... not sure where to find that. Perhaps one of you know?

I wonder?
 

I could be wrong, but my instinct tells me this photo was either a video still or from a really bad first generation digital camera or cell phone... That being said I think the girl here is beautiful and the camera did her no justice. Now that this photo is enhanced I wonder if perhaps the girl pictured might come across it all these years later and be taken back by how beautiful she really was when it was taken now that she can see herself without all that camera noise.Attachment 12479115

Someone we all recognize
 

Here is someone that all of us will recognize. Her pictures have been all over the internet for many years. This particular picture stuck out to me and I decided to enhance it. I always thought she was beautiful and for those of you who agree here is a picture with enough resolution to be printed poster size now!

Hi, there is a bit more one can do with colors in the first pic ;-)

I didn't realize I posted the uncompressed upscaled version of the video before which was over 600MB.

Yes there are many options for color, each person has their preference. Some like 5600K (white lighting) while others prefer 2700K (soft white). Your version looks nice as well but I was trying not to take away that vintage polaroid feel.

How about this one? We go from a standard pick at the beach to a vibrant magazine style coloring?

I remember seeing this movie when I was younger and I thought Betty was smoking hot. I would have loved to have gotten a copy of the photo they were cutting out for those pies! Never have seen it in High Definition and I suspect it would not look as good as it does now!
