I just came back from summer vacation with my wife and had an experience OCC regulars may find interesting.

While on vacation, we decided to visit a local spa. As is customary in the country we were visiting, there is no swimsuit allowed after entry into the spa facilities. Towels yes. Swimsuit, no. It was early afternoon so the spa was quite empty (we didn't see anyone at all for a long time) so my wife (we’ll call her Emma) was reluctantly ok with it.

After enjoying the hot tub, we decided to go and check out the saunas. They were all empty, so I entered one and Emma said she wanted to take a shower first, to cool off from the hot tub. The sauna is made of dark glass allowing me to look out without being seen. The shower was right in front of the sauna so I could watch Emma take her cold shower, naked of course as that's the rule.

As I mentioned, for spas in this country, nudity is common and not a big deal. Everything is coed, people walk around naked with towels, and showers have no doors and is situated right next to the walkway for ease of entry, etc.

So there's Emma taking her shower. Me watching her inside the sauna, but no one can see me because of the tinted glass. An older gent (balding, overweight with a protruding stomach) just happened to be walking by and of course, saw Emma taking her shower. She has her eyes closed. The guy stopped, starred at her, and decided to move off the hallway and stand to the side (right against the glass of the sauna I was in) and acted like he was just waiting for something. Emma couldn't see him from her angle (very clever of him to position strategically). No one's around, and he didn't know I was there because of the tinted glass, so he openly starred at Emma for the 5 minutes or so while she was in the shower. He was naked of course (with a towel in front), and I watched him rub himself (no one's around) every once in a while, just enough to have a hard on. He was leaning on the glass so he was maybe a foot away from me. I can see what he's looking at (Emma in all her glory as she thought she was alone and had privacy), and I can see him and his fat, stubby cock that he kept playing with.

While obviously nothing else happened and this is very tame compared to others experiences on OCC, I thought it was a very erotic moment. Watching a guy seeing Emma naked. She's showering so she's rubbing herself everywhere (soaping up). The guy got to see everything. Emma naked. For 5 minutes.

I’m also thinking about the guy. He must have thought he hit the jackpot and went to heaven. No one's around. He was spying on a beautiful naked girl taking a shower. She couldn't see him. He was already naked so he could stoke himself a bit. Seriously, how can you improve on that setup?

As for me, it was a huge thrill watching another man less than 1 foot away spying on naked Emma. Should I have intervened and opened the door to the sauna so he would scurry away? Or was it okay that I let it happen and enjoyed the moment? Fellow OCC’er, what would you have done?

That certainly qualifies under the bucket list of my candaulistic fantasies!

I for one am glad you didn't scare him away. I'm not sure what I would have actually done. Yet I'm fairly certain what I would have liked to do, which would be to invite him to help rinse her off, and vice-versa. Or join you both in the sauna for some 'stimulating conversation'.

You're so right Driftwood. I wish I thought of that. I should have opened the door of the sauna while Emma was showering and invited him into the sauna. Even though Emma is shy and modest and wouldn't go into an occupied sauna normally, she wouldn't know there was someone else inside after taking her shower and coming in to join me. By then, it would be too awkward for her to turn around and leave, especially if I was already inside. She would have no choice but to sit naked in the sauna for at least a short time, allowing our very lucky voyeur to see her up close and personal.

As you said, for someone with candaulistic fantasies, that certainly could have been one that came true! If only you were there to give me that idea...heck, maybe YOU could have been the voyeur!

Hello, you would be able to have same experiences in Germany. There are always a bunch of guys in the sauna area which are just there to have a good look at naked women. My wife is well aware of the fact but does not mind at all. I see her taking extra long time in the shower or in the (co-ed) changing room.

Thanks for sharing that Mogli1960...I'm curious, from reading another tread on OCC called spas or something similar, I was led to believe that in Germany, it was hugely frowned upon if anyone hangs around and gawks at naked women. The staff at the location would intervene. Can you or anyone who's been to Germany share your thoughts? If that's not the case, I think I'm going to push for a visit to Germany next!

That said, my wife is shy and modest so I have to slowly work on her exhibitionism side.

It is not that obvious that they are there to just watch naked females, but if you see the same guy at different times showing up at the same sauna cabin or at the same shower area, then you know that your wife has an admirer. Nothing bad about this at all. The staff is looking that nobody is having a phone in the hand or even worse would take photos, but with the developing technology, I doubt that we are aware of all possibilities.

Speaking of guys hanging around in one place, I got a photo of a guy hanging around near where my wife was kneeling down and collecting interesting rocks at a local beach. My wife was topless at the time and not paying any attention to people around her. This gent had a camera (like a SLR) taking photos of the "scenery" as well as his friend (not pictured) but often aiming in the direction of where my wife was. I was watching from further away (garbage duties) so he didn't know I was watching him. I am sure he took quite a few photos with my wife's tits hanging off her because she was leaning forward most of the time, looking for rocks to collect. I hope that he enjoys looking at my wife anytime he wants!

Thanks for validating what I did. And you're right, no harm done whatsoever, and the images I have in my head is priceless. I would love to set up similar situations where she's topless or nude and being observed in a "byproduct" sort of a way - where she isn't the focus of the attention (or doesn't know she is) and I get to watch another man check her out. Unfortunately, I think situations like that have to just happen and I just have to be ready for it. And have a camera ready!

...to have a camera "ready" to capture the moment would be perfect. We ran into several situations as you described. As a younger guy I was often a kind of jealous to see other guys starring at my then topless or naked gf. Over the time I noticed that I started to enjoy her being seen or even photographed by other men. We have tried several times to arrive at different times at the beach or the sauna and pretend not to know each other that I have the chance to see if other guys are looking at her. I find it arousing, especially when she is there first, and text me about guys around her.

I suppose you could have walked up and asked the man to text you photos he took. Perhaps explaining point-blank you don't mind him taking pix of your wife as long as he sends them to you. Hmmm.... seeing my suggestion in print still sounds rather too brash.

We had a similar situation where a guy took photos as I was taking photos while we strolled through the dunes. I was speechless as he started and my then gf took it as " if he does not speak up, he agrees to it" and started posing also for him. I am still angry that I did not ask him to forward/share the photos with us.

You bring up a very interesting point...as much as I enjoy watching other men look and stare at my wife, it's a fairly new thing for me and on multiple occasions on a recent vacation, on a topless beach for example, I would see a guy staring at her as we're walking on the beach, and you would think I'd welcome the attention and guide our walk closer to him so he can have a closer look but no, I would do the opposite and move us away from him, or one time, I actually turned us around as he was approaching us and we had no "escape" route. Jealousy or protectiveness kicking in perhaps.

Afterwards I kick myself wondering why I ruined another perfect opportunity!

Or did she picked up what you were doing, and she just started helping to create the scenarios? My wife is shy so I'm always looking for ideas of how to introduce it to her...

I think it started almost at the same time that I started to enjoy that other guys starring/looking at her and she enjoyed the attention. At one point we talked about the whole topic and as she found out that I enjoy it, her “reservations” disappeared. It is now a kind of agreement that she is looking for opportunities to show off and I am looking for exposure s of her. We do it in a soft way and therefore we both have fun. A simple example is when she is shopping lingerie or bikinis. She will say inside the dressing cabin that it might be too sheer or too sexy and I would answer that she should come out and show me. She steps out and every otherguy would take a look. It looks absolutely innocent.
Same for our public pool - she showers close to the door and everytime somebody enters or leaves, she is on full display. There are always men waiting for their wives close to the door and have a good look.The more she is doing stuff like this, the more she gets uswd to it and enjoys it. Especially for a shy wife this is the way for her to test it - it looks innocent, she can always stop it and she decides how much and how ling to be exposed. Thanks for that Mogli1960, good tips. You are indeed lucky to have a cooperative wife. My wife is shy and doesn't know that I enjoy showing her off yet. Other than topless and nude beaches and spas (as I talked about here), she has been topless during long drives as she doesn't think anyone else can see. I like to think they can! I learned that on another tread on OCC.

Oh not true, I also enjoyed watching her disrobe and being examined by a male doctor! I almost forgot about that one...I think I wrote about that in another OCC entry. If I can manufacture doctor visits, I would be a happy man! Alas, she's very healthy.

So far my favorite is the topless beaches scene since it's the only venue that people don't bat an eye if I take photos. She's open to anything as long as she thinks it's just for my benefit and no one else notices. If you think of any other venues from your experience I should try, please let me know! :)

What about the classic "change room curtain a little bit open" ? She can decide how wide it is open. Another one would be lingerie shopping - there are always other husbands waiting. Make her come out of the cabin and show herself - she can decide which lingerie she is wearing and how long she will be on display.

Hey Mogli1960, I kept what you said in mind above for the last month, and finally last weekend, opportunity strikes!

We were in a small independent store to buy a Christmas party dress. At one point, she was in the change room (it was just a small corner of the room with a curtain for privacy) trying on a dress. Being the helpful husband, I was looking for other dresses for her to try while she was changing. Success, I found several. Without announcing myself, I opened up the curtain a bit to hand her the new dresses. No one else was in the store except for the one salesperson and he was in the stockroom at the time so all good. Once I gave her the dresses, I did not close the curtain tight again. It was open about an inch so if someone was walking by, they can definitely see in. Sure enough, the salesperson came out of the stockroom, walked right by the change area and definitely got an eyeful. To take advantage, he stopped and started fussing with the racks near the change room, with a perfect view of my wife changing in and out of her dresses. He was there watching her for about 10 minutes. I was just walking around the store looking at other dresses so he didn't think I noticed. Many of the dresses are strapless so she had to take her bra off to try them on so he definitely got to see her nude with just her little panties to cover her modesty. In hindsight, I wish I took a few photos of him watching her. I never remember until it's too late :(

Anyhow, thought I'd share that with you since it was you who gave me the idea...
