The weather in Norwegian
 

Did a search, but couldn't find this posted. Hope y'all' like it.

Here's the story:

A local radio station in the Norwegian capital Oslo did a concept a few years ago during summer, where they used a girl to illustrate the weekend-weather, titled: "Warmer weather - less clothes" (it rhymes when spoken in Norwegian). The concept was pretty simple: The higher the temperature, the more you got to see of the girl. The girl, Raquel, started as an amateur, but quickly became famous. Of course, in mid summer, she usually ended up naked.

Unfortunately i have no videos from that season (hint, hint).

However, last winter, they started again. This time with different amateur girls. The concept basically the same, but with a variety of girls, and here the girl undresses as we move from the cold (northern) parts of Norway, to the "warmer" southern parts :cool:

All the girls are amateurs, althoug one of them (this first one, Unni Major, 19) has done a bit of semi-pro nude modelling after this.

I give you now, the weekend-weather in Norway, starting from November 22 last year. There will be 6 clips in all, one at a time, including a "summary" at the end. The actual forecast (spoken in the videos) was broadcasted on radio as the girls undressed.

(Note: These clips were all availible to download from the radio stations website at the time, and are not copyrighted. Hope they qualify. A few of the clips are slightly too large, so I don't know how this all works out, but we'll try. The filename indicates the date they aired, format ddmmyy)

Hey, I can remember the days when Raquel was the girl who stripped, she is really hot. It would be great if anyone has any of the old vids or knows if there are any plans to re open the weatherinnorwegian.com website.

New girl today, from the weekend of December 5th 2003. This time it is 27 year old Cathy.

Please note when downloading vids:

• This is a single wmw-file splitted into two parts with WinRAR (www.rarsoft.com)
• Download both files and put them in the same folder
• RENAME 051203.part1.zip to 051203.part1.exe (self extracting archive)
• RENAME 051203.part2.zip to 051203.part2.rar
• Double-click the .exe-file to extract

Make sure you have not selected to "Hide extensions for known file-types" in Windows' folder options, or you will not be able to rename the files.

If running unknown exe-files troubles you, download and install WinRAR from http://www.rarsoft.com/ and use it to open the files. The renaming should not be neccesary in that case, but nake sure you download both files before attempting to extract.

I had to do this in order to keep the 10MB limit (it's 15 MB when extracted), and since rar-files are not supported to upload.

Thanks bignose71, but this is exactly why we don't support uploading .RAR files. If people want to upload files larger than 10 MB they should see this thread and we will (probably) host them for you.

I was aware of the FTP, but I still don't get it.

What is wrong with RAR-files?

Do you mean that using a splitting tool that allows convinient file-sizes is not OK, but using a video-software to split up the clip itself in two halves would be? Or wouldn't it? I mean, I could have used WinZip to split the file, in 1.44MB chunks. Would that have been within the rules?

Please don't misunderstand me, I'm just courious of how to abide the rules, and still be able to share as much as possible.

I figured since each of the files were <10MB, and the post in total <20MB, I'd be laughing. Didn't seem fair to break up the series, so I thought I had figured out a way to solve the problem without breaking the rules.

The rest of the clips are within the 10MB limit, so there will be no more occurances of this. Feel free to remove the post, and I'll upload the file to the FTP.

Is there a way Mac users can join or view these videos? I know we can join files that have been split with HJsplitter because the program Chunkjoiner works for them on the Mac.

Go to http://www.rarsoft.com/download.htm and downlad the program for Mac.

You should be okay just using the tool to extract the first file, but you might have to rename as described above.

You've got some fair questions so I'll try to answer in two parts.

First, we don't support uploading .RAR files for two reasons. One, it isn't a great solution because most PC's don't come bundled with a RAR program and it can be a hassle to help people with different operating systems download the software. Asking people to download a lot of pieces and then putting them back together is a pain in the ass when there is a better solution.

Second, is related to bandwidth. Boring to talk about but it is a great expense. With the 10MB per file upload limit and a suggested 20 MB per day limit, it is easier for us to manage our daily traffic. Right now you guys are downloading an obcene 200 - 250 gigabytes a day from One Click Chicks. If we let people upload larger files (split with RAR) on a daily basis without any moderation our bandwidth bill would make us go bankrupt. :eek:

We are happy to host the best material uploaded to the FTP server.

This is, really, what makes this forum so much more pleasant to be a part of, than any other I have encountered: A sensible adminsitrator/moderator who really aims to please his members. Any other forum, and the reply from the moderator would have been: "RTFM, bye!"

Having cleared up not only the rules, but the reason for them as well, I will live by them with pleasure from now on. You're really doing a good thing here, Alex, and I certainly will not be a part of screwing things up.

Here we go with the fifth clip, and last of the girls. This is by far the funniest girl of them all. In order to get the undressing going, the presentator instructs the girl to remove an item of clothing everytime he gives the cue "Mrs. Andersen."

The girl, so unbelievably dim (or maybe just nervous), forgets this immediatly, and it's hillarious to watch as she realises the cue has been given, and is trying to figure out what item to remove first. That happens every time. You can't miss this one!

The girls name is Renate Andersen, and she was 19 at the time. Aired on December 20th, 2003.

Definitely some amazing stuff. The ones I like are when the girl tries to get "nekkid" by pushing her pants to her knees and leaves it at that, Very cool.
