It seems like you are gearing this question towards anal which we do not do so I have nothing for you there. There have been a couple times due to pregnancy dryness we have used KY. Other than that, if you do your job as a man to get her ready and you are not in a hurry, you should not need lube. I have heard this changes after menopause but I have not been with anyone in that age group so I do not know first hand. Also I have heard that some condoms require lube but I have never used a condom so I would not know on that one either.

After menopause you will definitely want some type of water based lube (of which there are many) just to get her started. Once she gets going no other lube should be necessary.
