Nude living at nudist communities.
I saw that reality show about people buying homes in Pasco County, Florida where everyone can be nude outside. Has anyone ever lived like this? If so, please share your experiences.

Nope.
But I imagine it's not that different from nudist resort residents; and I've met plenty of them. It's basically like every day living in a non-nudist community; except you tend to spend more time socializing with the neighbors naked while doing yardwork or hanging out at each other's home. So it's more social. |
It's not that different
I haven't actually lived in one, but I've visited several for weeks at a time and met people who lived there full time. It's not that different from a clothed living situation, except for much more time by the pool, in the spa, etc. Nudists tend to be more social and friendly that textiles, and that goes for campgrounds as well as resorts and nudist communities. Oh, another big difference is that almost everyone is naked all the time!

I've visited them before
I used to stay at the CO resort that is referred to in the first post. There are homes, condos, apts., etc. adjacent to the resort area. I would stay in the hotel or a condo at the resort when in the area on business. I was sitting in the conversation pool one day chatting with this older couple. They told me they owned/lived in a home on the property.
We got to talking about living the nude lifestyle every day. They both were very nonchalant about it and felt it was their "normal" way of living. They ended up asking me if I would like to see their home. They warned - don't mind the mess as we have guests staying with us now - a related family and friends of the relatives. It was interesting walking into the house and except for no clothes you could have been in anyone's house. Adults reading, teens playing a board game, younger ones playing with toys. They gave me a tour of the house, pointing out closets full of clothes - joking that, "Yrs, we do need clothes once in a while." I jokingly mentioned that I could get into this lifestyle with my SO. The guy said he was a realtor and did I want to see a couple other places. Sure I said, but don't plan on a sale today - I'm just curious. We headed out with one of the guys staying there in tow. The three of us went through a vacant place when on to a couple occupied houses. It was interesting having been greeted at a front door by a nude woman. So casual. That house also had elderly parents there. There was only one sexual connotation. After being greeted by the attractive woman of a house and moving on to another room the guy who joined us gave himself a couple strokes and said, "Wow, she's a hottie." The guy showing us around said, he understood, but be careful what you say and do. |
Living nude

We have visited couples who live in other Florida resorts that are more clothing optional than those where nudity is expected. Some of these couples are hard-core nudists and we have never seen them wear a stitch. Other couples would dress to go to dinner or for drinks in the club and sometimes the women wear a sarong around their waist walking around before ditching it in the pool area. My wife is slender and gets cold easily, so often wears a top or carries a wrap to cover her shoulders...but nothing below. It's a nice look. |

We do have a site at a nudist resort and live there nude part time. Not quite the same there or at Cypress Cove since everyone coming onto the property knows it is nudist. |
Vera Playa
A few years ago my wife and I had a holiday in Vera Playa, which you may or may not know is a smallish naturist village in Spain. It felt very strange walking the couple of hundred yards from our accommodation to the beach wearing nothing but suntan lotion, sunglasses and a hat.
Soon adapted to the lifestyle though and by the end of the fortnight we were both comfortable going to the bars, coffee shops and restaurants nude. |

I owned an apartment there for about fifteen years. I used to fly down there (from the UK) at Easter when the season began. I'd stay until August, when it became too hot and busy, fly home, then return at this time of year -the beginning of September when the Spanish schools were back, the sting of the sun not quite so much, and there were fewer families around and stay until October, when the season was finished. Despite naturism not being purely about sex, there was still opportunities for 'fun' to be had over the course of every summer, I can tell you, and none of it involving clothes. You did need to leave the naturist section for shopping, and that might be the only time you dressed all week. The longest period I spent nude was seven days straight. Out of bed, down to the sea, collect bread from the little van that toured with fresh bread each morning, get on with writing, numerous dips in the pool of my urbanisation, make meals, and do everything naked. |

Back in the day, I spent some time in the Cedar Creek residential area. All the residents were naked, would spend time hanging out with their neighbors, and would invite us into their home after they got to know us. They were "dedicated" nudists. I've also seen it elsewhere where residents would keep to themselves and rarely hang out naked (often the wife). Or they would wait until later in the day and come out in a sarong. I never understood why someone would actually live in a nudist resort and not be openly naked. Maybe they were when they first moved in and then stopped enjoying being seen naked? I was also told that in some situations it was purely a financial decision (cheaper living arrangement with amenities in walking distance). It's probably a financial decision for the resort too to allow non-nudists to live there (additional revenue). Walking around a resort naked and seeing people fully dressed in the residential area always makes me feel that I stumbled into a non-nudist area. It might be their right as homeowners; but I feel they should set the example. |
Naturism
I sometimes share my house with women and couples practising naturism. I did it via couch surfing, introducing more or less 150 people in naturism. And some of the people I rented a part of my appartment to, had of course to accept my naturist life style but most also tried or are naturism practinioners themselves.

Cap D'Agde
I have just spent a couple of days at Europe's largest naturist communities, the naturist village at Cap D'Agde in France.
It is an enormous complex with thousands of apartments, hotels and a camp site. There are shops, bars and restaurants along with night clubs. It is located on the Mediterranean sea with a beautiful sandy beach. There are two characters to the village. The first is standard naturist with all community activities like shopping, going to bars and restaurants, walking around and general leisure done in the nude. You soon get used to seeing naked bodies of all ages, sizes and colours engaging in these mundane activities. The second side is what the French refer to as "Libertine" activities. Essentially this is all about sex, swinging and exhibitionism. During the day the Libertine side of things can mainly be found by walking past the normal nude beach to the area known as the Baie des Cochons or Bay of Pigs. Here pretty much anything goes. You will have heard the rumours and seen the videos and everything is true! Most of the time couples are just lying out sunbathing but when the mood takes them they will engage in all sorts of sexual activity: fingering, jerking, sucking, licking and full on fucking in every imaginable position. All this is either ignored with a degree of nonchalance by the fellow beach users or actively observed by a good cohort of, mostly middle aged, single males. As my wife was unable to visit with me I was definitely in the latter group. Continued.... |
Cap D'Agde Continued
From time to time there would be displays by younger, fitter couples which attracted large crowds and occasionally a young lady would engage in blow-job sessions for all who could get close.
I avoided these scenes as they aren't really my thing. What I enjoyed was seeing the ordinary, middle-aged and senior couples take advantage of the scene. These were the sort of couples you would normally take no notice of, care-worn, wrinkly, all shapes and sizes who had perhaps been married for 20-30 years but had not let the fire go out! I saw many, many things which will stay in my memory for a very long time. I have written on this site about witnessing activities in the dunes at my local nudist beach in England but this was in a different universe! In the evening nearly everybody is clothed but around a quarter of the women are wearing very erotic dresses. See through, short, minimal with all sorts of lingerie on show. I was sat in a restaurant and the lady a couple of tables away had a very short skirt with no knickers underneath and I spent the whole meal looking at her pussy. Again ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes took part. There was an older couple sat next to me in an outside bar, she was on a mobility scooter and was a very large lady. her top was red mesh exposing her "spaniel ear" boobs and wrinkly belly. Fair play to her, I thought. There were night clubs and saunas that catered just for swinger couples, excluding single male visitors or charging five-times the couples price for restricted access. In summary, everything you have ever heard about the place is true. I can't wait to go back. Feel free to ask any questions. |
