Closed threads in ENF
 

Several threads have been closed in the ENF forum in the last few weeks. Any idea why? Are we doing something wrong?

We are currently discussing these threads among the mods and site owner. A number of posts are of copyright material, contain links to pay sites; eg patreon, or have images containing cartoon style drawings of under 18's.

Anime ENF thread has been here years, probably one of the oldest threads and highest views. I think it has enough content to last(assuming it doesn't get removed, hopefully not)

Is there any hope that the General Drawn ENF thread will be re-opened? Assuming that the posts that have copyright material, links to pay sites or under 18's are removed, could this thread be re-opened?

Are comic book images the copyright material? I posted a lot of those I'll stop if necessary...

That would be a decision the site owner would need to make I'm afraid. As soon as that decision is made I will update the thread.


I'd imagine they would be like any image or piece of art, I will belong either the producer or whoever commisioned it. Batman comics would be a good example of this, Whoever produces these will hold the copyright.

Any idea on when the site owner will make a permanent decision as to whether these threads are permanently closed? It would be such a shame if the General Drawn ENF thread is permanently closed forever. I'm such a huge fan of Christian1972's ENF-related artwork.

Yeah that would be a huge bummer :(

I mean, seriously. Christian1972 tried to create his own thread of his own ENF-related artwork, but then the site's admins obviously took it down and reverted the number of his posts back to 88 and mine back to 61. What gives? Why can't new ENF-related artwork be published in the ENF - Embarrassed Nude Females photos section of this site?

Seems to me like the writing on the wall is download your favs now because that thread is dead men walking.

I'm guessing it has to do with copyright paranoia and poxssible (I stress POSSIBLE) age concerns within some artworks which I can understand to an extent but this is a shame to see it go.

So, what's the verdict with these closed threads (that incldes the "Miss Truth's Comix and Stories" thread)? Has the site owners made a decision yet? Are we ever going to get a decision?

I would also like an answer to this question. It would be nice to know if there is a possibility that these closed threads could be re-opened.

So, is this just sitting here? Are they close permanently? I have ENF comic panels, can I post them somewhere? Should I start a new thread or will it just get locked as well?

That's also what I would most like to know. I sure hope that these ENF related threads on this forum are not closed permanently. I'm a huge fan of Christian1972's ENF-related artwork, and it would be such a shame if he could not post his ENF-related artwork here on this forum any more.

Still waiting on Admin to have a say, ultimately it's their board.

Unfortunately in more recent times, the moderation of the ENF forum has been a bit neglected or the existing rules bent a bit. When OCC started it was for amateur pics. The ENF forum was there for images of ladies caught and being embarassed.

We do now (or did) have an issue with some users posting 'cartoon' style pics depicting under 18's. Users posting their own produced content and linking to their own pay sites. Users posting copyright material eg caps from tv shows etc.

When the site owner makes a decision regarding these issues, your opinions will of course be considered.

So if the offending posts that have 'cartoon' style pics depicting under 18's, user-produced content linking to their own pay sites, and copyrighted material are removed from this forum, would the site owners consider re-opening the ENF threads hosted on this forum?

Threads that have existed for a decade or more is a bit beyond 'recent times'. The board owners can of course do what they want with their board but I don't see this as a good sign. I've seen other boards start this route and it has always lead to the death or near-death of the board in question. It would be sad if that happened here.

So...still no decision, yet?

If and when a decision to reopen those threads has been made by the site owner, You will be informed. Please can we stop the questioning and complaining.

I've unlocked 3 threads in the ENF section, I can't recall which were locked, so let us know if you think I've missed any.

Please be very aware of what you post in them. NO underage pictures or drawings. This includes all people shown, including school children. I understand a school teacher would be over 18, but most pupils are not.
