This is all 100% true. I did 4 shoots in 2005, with an 18 year old, a mother in her 20s, a 20-something woman and a student who did one or two shoots on the side. In 2007 I got a decent camera, did a couple of shoot off gumtree, one with a woman who did it as a one off, one who did some porn over a couple of years. Since then I have done about 30 shoots - I always pay- with models from modeling sites. These ladies range from well known pros to amateurs who have joined up for fun, I might be the only person who has ever paid them to shoot. Often for the right money too a lady will go to "higher levels" than she normally would eg a topless model doing open leg.

Anyway, that's the bare bones of it. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can tell you more about my adventures. Also, much of what I shot is scattered around this site. I shoot with a basic camera in an amateur style. I'm sure he won't me saying, but the excellent work of member darmagh is similar to mine. :)

When my wife was in her early 20’s , she was getting paid between $80 and $150 per hour to pose. Easy money for someone who really enjoyed being naked.

When I first started, I paid about £40 an hour for open leg. Typically about £30 an hour would get art nude, within reason. It's fairly similar these days, actually, ie gone down in real terms. If you are interested in an overview, modelling sites such tend to be quite open, and models are quite open and honest with rates.

Of course there is barter, but then of course too, if you make a good offer models are more likely to do the shoot, and enjoy the shoot. There are people who are good at making models just the right offer, to do some of the "higher" levels. A lot of the British girls on some of the well known adult sites are / were art nude models.

One thing, the overall quality and availability of models has dropped a lot recently. (ie, across maybe 10 years)

There have been many comments on OCC about truly amateur models (friebds, wives, girlfriends) gettin hot and wantint to fuck durung or after a photo session. What's the experience with paid models? Is it just business, or do they also get "hot" and need your "hose" to put out the fire?

Well, firstly the idea of the model getting so hot she wants to fuck is a myth. What certainly does go on is some models - generally a little older, over 30, do "extras" or interaction for a further fee, usually at a second shoot. It's not cold though, there is quite a lot of discretion, and often of course it's down to simply liking the photographer, and being happy with the extra cash. What I found is that it's about balance, be a decent guy, and offer a decent fee, and yeah, why not. But I would say the model's primary motivation is the money.

Phrasing is important. When I did the open leg stuff with art nude models, I'd generally send a polite message- " I can offer £80 for this, if you did want to try open leg, that pays £120 " etc.

I have also seen some well know models in full on sex videos shot for "private collectors" often these are younger models, sometimes really quite well known. I think these stem from a combination of charm and cash. If a model is confident that the photographer won't share videos or images, they often will do quite hardcore stuff as a one off.

For what it's worth, I once got a bj off a model in the woods- a flappy 40 something, and in turn she referenced me to a friend who did likewise. Did massage and bj with another model I got to know quite well, an had a nice massage off a 4th. I didn't keep footage, as much for my own discretion as theirs.

I have seen footage too, again these are from photographers and it stems from trust within the community.

But back to your question- the idea that a model will get super horny and can't keep her hands off the 'tog - that is a myth.

And another one of mine- with a very high calibre model, appears in naturist magazines etc. For those who wonder, her rate was £100 and that included travel to the location. And also, she strictly never does higher levels or "extras" .

I took some artistic nudes of my wife, just to play around with shadows and light using B&W film. We developed them and my wife showed some of the best prints to one of her friends. The friend told her pregnant daughter how nice they were, so they asked us to take some nudes of her before the baby was born.

We worked with her at her home, which had some great scenery to shoot in, but to be honest, once we got busy with the technical work, the sexual turn on was gone. She was a beautiful woman and she had that glow that pregnant women seem to have if they are happy.

We took some polaroids of my wife the night before she had our first child, but within a few years they were faded away.

Exactly! Often I have to remind myself there is a nude women right in front of me! I used to get a buzz meeting them in their normal clothes, knowing I'd soon see them naked, but that is nearly gone nowadays! Nearly ;)

I’ve got to disagree. The abundance of amateur model sites has opened up truly amateur models who are curious about shooting. It’s never been so easy.

I know what you mean, but in my experince, the glory days on those type of sites were about 10 years ago - there doesn't seem to be the volume of users on any of the sites that there once was.

And without naming names of sites, when you say "amateur modelling sites" what do you mean? Think of Prince's type of rain, and add where ships go to dock... for example. That is the sort of site I mean.

I'd say he does pay more for the extra mile! Quite a lot of guys do- and quite a lot of models do go the extra mile. They are careful and selective, a very sensible way to be. ie, it's much more subtle, and controlled, than other forms of things. I'm being super subtle, but you get what I mean?

With the right offer, and the model being comfortable, than yeah all good. :)

Funnily enough I do a bit of modelling every now and again.
I had my 2nd shoot with @greencar which was my first ever adult mag style shoot, he also happens to be a member on here. The images we shot were intended for publication in an adult magazine, being only my 2nd shoot the level of nudity required was definitely out of my comfort zone and nothing I had ever done before.
I had never posed nude for anyone apart from my other half let alone posed with my legs open in front of someone I didn't know. I Was very nervous, excited and felt slightly sick waiting for him to turn up.
When he arrived I was pleasantly surprised as he was quite good looking and very lovely, he put me instantly at ease with the shoot. I had prepared by having a full body tan and hollywood wax for the lady parts so I felt amazing.
Everything started off quite tame and went really well then as time went on the poses became more explicit and raunchy.
