Fremont 2018
 

The best naked event in the US is only a couple days away! The weather for Saturday looks as good as it gets; should be a great day for getting painted and going for a bike ride.

Is Fremont tomorrow? I might have thought there’d be more anticipation on this board.

That will never happen. It’s way too big to shut down the naked bicyclists. I have friends there right now getting painted up, so I know it’s definitely going on today.

I had a (pictureless) post, but it went away. May have been on my end, I'm having lots of trouble with my phone, which is part of why I don't have any pictures.

I don't think there was any effort to ban the riders, and I agree with gwarslave that it would be tough (but not impossible) to do. But they definitely did try to curtail it a little bit. In years past, the riders would start on the parade route about an hour before the published start time of the parade. This year, we weren't allowed to start until less than half an hour before. Once we did start on the parade route (and probably because we started so late), the "looping" - where once the riders reached a certain point, they'd turn around and ride back up the parade route until they hit the front of the actual parade - was a thing of the past. Whenever we'd turn around, we'd make it only a couple of blocks before someone from the parade staff told us to turn back and head towards Gasworks, well before we'd reached the front of the parade or the last of the riders to complete a loop.

So we'll see what this means for future years. There's definitely something happening, but I don't think it's quite a death knell. And for this year at least, there will be plenty of pictures coming soon, as there were plenty of beautiful naked riders.

No problem with your phone. I deleted it. I did not see the sense in bumping a thread that was started with no pictures with more posts that contained no pictures.

This is not a discussion thread.

If pictures don't start showing up soon, we'll just delete this thread until some does have some pictures.

As I was checking these out, my first impression was that full nudity was maybe down this year. But I did find some more fully naked girls a little further down in the gallery

It was a perfect day in Seattle for the solstice parade. More than 1,000 cyclists showed up and left their clothes at home. There was a nice post-parade party at Gasworks Park. Here are a few from the first pass at the painting party.

A reminder to check the ACTUAL parade and not just the bicyclists. There’s some hidden gems in there!

Gasworks Park featured dueling naked gymnasts.

The parade was better managed this year. Lots of creative people out there, not all of them naked.

The painting party is my favorite part of the event.

I hope there is going to be pics from Clikr73 and Cocofiji! They are the best!
