Happy to See all is up and running!

I'm not going to lie, it's been a stressful few days to say the least.

The good news is that we didn't loose a single file that member's had uploaded.

The bad news is it may take a bit more time before new videos can be converted to streaming.

Thanks for your support and being patient while we work out the final bugs.

Nicely done.

The site seems to be operating very smoothly after such a major rebuild.

I remember years ago when I ran a multi-line BBS and the hard drive failed. I had over 1000 users and kept both lines busy. Hard drives back then were pricey when you wanted something larger than a 50 meg RLL or MFM drive. I had not saved for the failure, so the board was down for about a week. The stress level was enormous, so I can only imagine what the poor IT guys here went through.

My hat is off to you!

I was thinking, let's say the backup failed. I know I would send whatever I had downloaded and saved right back to the source if necessary. Rebuilding this great storehouse that has no equal is a monumental task.

So relieved you are back. Nearly had a heart attack when OCC disappeared as I was browsing. At least you were considerate and honest enough to immediately post notice of what was happening. A week without OCC gave me the opportunity to see how barren and dishonest most other "free" sites are. You are a champion. Thank you for your past and present and future efforts, and the same to all those who volunteer to help out, especially in emergency situations.
