'Strip Poker' (USA Network, 1999-2000, Non-Nude)
 

Before I go any further, let me make this completely clear: THERE IS NO NUDITY IN THESE VIDEOS. None. Zero. Nada. So please don't complain when you download them and find that the girls keep some of their clothes on.

There was a short-lived program on the USA cable network called 'Strip Poker'. In it, two girls competed against two guys in a trivia-based variant on five card stud poker. I live in one of the areas used for a 'test market' (the Dallas area), so I had the chance to see the show early on. I also, right about that time, got my TiVo. So I ended up recording a good number of programs, both from the local affiliate and the cable network. I then edited them down significantly. As a result, I no longer have a complete episode of the show. So if you were wanting to see the 'game', I can't help you there -- my recordings cut out almost all of the non-stripping parts.

I recently managed to digitize those edited versions, and am in the process of fine-tuning the edits and converting them to files that can fit on this forum (10 MB or less). I wanted to preserve as much of the quality as possible, so it's taken me a while to get this right. The result is that most of the videos will come in three or four parts, and therefore will take a few days to post (keeping under the 20 MB/day limit). This is my first time to post videos here, so hopefully this goes OK. The first video includes my favorite girl of the entire run: Tanya (the one in red). Enjoy!

My two cents - I was personally disappointed with the show, in the sense that I thought it could have been much better than it was. I dont think I saw any "ENF" reactions - which is what I find to be the real erotic element of any stripping game. Indeed, at the end of each episode, *all* of the contestants - even the winners - often proceeded to dance and strip off their remaining clothes, which for me totally spoiled the strip game fun of it. Also, I had the impression the contestants were professional models rather than "real" people and that there was no reluctance at all to losing and having to strip.

It seems, however, that this is the way that the recent American attempts at strip game shows usually go. There have been a couple pay-per-view strip poker games, and they were in much the same vein - professional models who were basically paid to do a striptease - the game was essentially a formality.

I would have loved if the USA Strip Poker game had been done a little differently. Rather than professional models, I would have preferred to see "real" women - the type you might run into in everyday life at the office, in the bank, etc., who might seem a bit shy, embarrassed, reluctant to strip down to their silks on national TV. Some (not all) of the European strip game shows capture this a little better. My favorite is the Italian show that has been posted previosuly here. There is one episode in particular where the woman looks very pissed off and reluctant to take her clothes off. Even without nudity, I think that kind of game would be very erotic.

That was a nice game show. I would have liked to think, after the cameras stopped rolling that some of the girls took off their remaining clothes for the audience. I wish that Jennifer Cole would have participated. Man that girl was hot

Amen. I've watched them all, and been completely disappointed in all of them. Each one was missing one or more central elements to the central tenets of strip poker.

Over the course of the series, there were a few girls that didn't fit the typical 'model' profile, where I was willing to suspend my disbelief and accept them as 'real' girls. I'll try to point them out as I go.

While I can't rule out problems on my side, in the past when folks have had problems with my videos, it was due to an outdated XviD codec or substitute.

PS: just to make the scale of this project clear, there about 40 more video sets to post. So, based on posting limitations, this will take several months to complete.

This show was frustrating to say the least. It wasn't just the lack of "enf" reactions....or the overall "fakeness" of it....but also the lack of really good camera angles. At least when I saw this crap on USA network, they NEVER showed a good ass shot...like the girl would begin to turn around to show off her ass while pulling pants down...and they immediately cut away to one of the guys for their reaction. Bullshit. I eventually just gave up watching, because all that show did was piss me off with that.

There are several videos that I'll post where we get outstanding butt shots on the girls. But I do agree that it was the exception, rather than the rule. Also, on one of the games that I didn't end up keeping, the host made a comment (when he thought the mic was off) about how one girl was a "no-booty-shot" girl. So I took that to mean that some girls specified that they were not to be shot from behind, once they got down to a thong/g-string.

hah...silly broads...the "no-booty-shot!" rule is garbage, imo. Right then and there I would've just told them to get the hell off my set then. It's not like we're producing an award-winning movie or tv show here...the girls are there to look hot and strip down...so the way I see it, if she has certain "requirements", she could just go home and we'd get someone else who is down to show some ass. That's the way it should be. These producers and the like should take more of a hard line with this sort of thing....put their foot down.

Thanks for posting these. I used to love this show Sadly, this is about as racy as it gets for American TV. And I bet it couldn't even get on the air these days. If it weren't for Howard Stern we'd never see a thong on basic cable anymore.

^yeah...the sad thing is...he's not exaggerating. On WWE Smackdown last week, they actually blurred a girl's ass in a thong. She had a thong on and they censored that! Pitiful. Just damn pitiful.

heh, I'm not trying to piss on the parade here, but one of those vidcaps reminded me of another annoying thing about that show...they "squeezed" or compressed the video while they rolled the credits. That sucks because it distorts the image of course...I want to see the women as they really are....not suddenly "stretched" tall due to screen-squeeze.

Nope, you're right -- the 'squeeze' was doubly annoying, since it usually happened right about the time we were getting the best views! (Then again, the 'disco' lighting meant that it was nearly impossible to get a good look anyway.) Of course, the sideways squeeze was better than the horizontal squeeze from the early, test-market-only episodes. I'll eventually post one of those, so you can see how bad it was. :)

This is the first video where I focused just on one of the two girls. I have a few more like this -- something about the 2nd girl either bored me or turned me off. Also, since the guys in this one were a couple of dopes, there's wasn't that much footage worth showing.

As a result, I left in some of the "game" footage (which I had in my source material). So if you were interested in how the 'poker' part of the show worked, there a little bit of that in this first video.

I admit that I watched this show, but I found it SOOOOOOOOOOO frustrating. This show needed to be on HBO or Showtime with real nudity. So many painful memories. :eek:
