All Time Favourite WNBR Riders - ADD YOUR OWN

Unbelievably as of today I've been a member of OCC forum for exactly 10 years. Not fishing for congratulations or such nonsense but I figured it an excuse to indulge a little.

Basically I'll be posting some of my all time favourite photos and riders from my favourite public nudity events, the world naked bike ride. Compiling a personal greatest hits if you like.

The mouse ears girl (or as I call her, Cat Ear Girl because she wore a pair of matching leopardskin-pattern gloves) appeared at both London and Brighton 2010. In London on the Saturday she wore red bodypaint and rode topless, in Brighton on the Sunday she wore blue bodypaint and rode naked.

As far as I know, she'd never been seen before, and hasn't since. At least, I've seen no pictures.

I've often wondered why there are quite a few women who turn up one year, show no shyness about getting completely naked and seem from all evidence to enjoy themselves thoroughly, and yet they never appear again. Is part of their abandon and enjoyment that it's a 'once in lifetime' thing, or are they out off by realising how many photos of them are posted? I know from speaking to women who have ridden in several rides annually that some of them eventually stop because the attention from photographers becomes too much.

There are two simple methods that everyone should know/learn:
1. Google reverse image search. If you're using Chrome, you can just right-click on the thumbnail and "Search Google for image". In a thread like this, most of the images are already on OCC in other threads, and if they are, there's a good chance there will be other images of the same woman nearby in that thread. If you have a lot of Google image search results, under "Find other sizes of this image", click "Small" (because Google only indexes the thumbnails from OCC), and see if any of the results are from OCC. In the case of the lovely hula hooper, they aren't, which makes me wonder if maybe they were here and were removed for some reason, because it would be really strange if that picture was never posted here. What the reverse image search does do for us this time is give us a Flickr "favorites" link to the original image in GarXth HerrXick's photostream: flickr.com/photos/7339287@N03/7875692834/ There are LOTS of other great shots of her in the same album: flickr.com/photos/7339287@N03/albums/72157631266935964

If you're looking for the brown-painted girl, the reverse Google image search takes you to this post on a Fremont Solstice 2012 thread. There are several pictures of her there, but just as importantly, those pictures are from Flickr, which helps you find the original source, where you can look at the album or the photostream and find more:

2. if an image is from Flickr (you can be sure if the filename is like this: [9-11 digits]_[10 characters, 0-9, a-f]_[letter].jpg, but sometimes you'll also see JPG files with JUST [9-11 digits].jpg, or [something something]_[9-11 digits]_o.jpg (these are the filenames you get when you download the whole album with 1 click). In any of these cases, the 9-11 digits are the Flickr photo ID. Put the photo ID into this URL: flickr.com/photo.gne?id=[photo id]

One or more of the brown girl shots in that Fremont thread are now deleted from Flickr, but this one is not: flickr.com/photos/cocofiji/4725948357/. Now you can go to the album and see if there are more: flickr.com/photos/cocofiji/albums/72157624212546527. In this case, the OCC thread actually has more, but more often than not, getting to the original Flickr source of an image will find you a LOT more pictures you're interested in.

And if I may channel the erstwhile Crispus for a moment here, OK I'm not going to channel him, because writing like him would take way too much effort, but... it sure is annoying that I'll be lucky to get 5 or 6 likes on this post despite not only doing the detective work, but also giving a pretty good tutorial, simply because there will be no visible pictures and most people will scroll by and won't realize that these links are a goldmine, and also answer all the questions.

Brighton 2013 - Blonde girl

Most of the time she was naked but wore a fur coat (if you get my meaning). But from Hove Lawns to the Old Steyne the fur coat was discarded so she rode naked through the town centre.

I will have posted some of these before but to save my time checking, and your time searching, here is a string of photos I took in Ship Street.

Favorite girl??? There are so many, I'll start with Brighton 2011, a classic year for me as a rider (and steward) as I got to accompany the delightful nurse/first aid person in the first shots. She approached me and offered her self as an official helper, I said she was free to ride with me as I had radio comms with the organizers.

She was so sweet, not to put her off, I said it was 'dare as you bare' and she would not have to strip (hating myself as the words came out!) but she promptly replied 'no, I'm stripping off!' and I had to quickly think of something else, as I was naked apart from a florescent waistcoat. Later, when we actually had an emergency (the late 'Willy Nilly' person had ridden with concussion due to crashing at London WNBR the day before and passed out cold at the last rest stop) I carried her bag from her bike and was inches away as she assessed the patient whilst fully nude. When the emergency ambulance arrived, she briefed the paramedics still nude! She showed no embarrassment, despite having having seen the ambulance team at work, several times.

Others here are the lovely group of girls, all of which went fully nude by the time they got to the beach, the voluptuous lady from Southampton (who relished being naked, loving every minute of the whole event and being the first to strip and last to dress for this year and the one before) and the teenage threesome who posed for me at the beach. Plenty more to come!

All right guys, I give in. If you really want me to post some more of my faves, I will.

Most of these by the way, I knew absolutely nothing about. No.s 1, 8, and 9 are the only ones I'm familiar with.

I have/had a few of her. Did consider a tribute gallery on my profile but could only find maybe five of her.
