unable to log in
 

I am unable to log in using my account "whalers".

I tried to log in but the system told me I had the wrong password. I then tried closing the tab and logging in on a new tab but no luck. I then tried to manually enter the password (overriding my browsers saved pw) and no luck.

Then I tried to reset the pw, but after receiving a new pw via email I can not log in using it.

Any help getting me in to my account?

I am having the same problem. Login credentials not working. Used "forgot password". Reset password not working either. Same username without the 2.

Same problem here with Firefox.
I changed password with Microsoft Edge and that worked.
Still can not use Firefox or Chrome.

Sounds like Firefox and Chrome did an update.
I'm guessing a patch/work around will be done
soon to the v-bulletin software here at OCC.

I/E is working fine.

Can't login with Safari on iPad. Chrome works on my phone but not on Chromebook.

I got this visitor message from a member:
"Password and user name no longer work when using Google Chrome but work in MS IE. Is this a common problem?"

Finally, Explorer works- Google Chrome still does not.

Every browser I have tried on ipad gives me the password error.

I am using an android with chrome to finally sign in.

If you are using an "android" then you are not using an iPad. iPads are only marketed by Apple!

I have an Apple iPad and iPhone and have had no problems logging in to the site numerous times today.
I also have a laptop running I/E and have no problem logging in.

It's the same with me... No problems!

It seems to be a Firefox and Chrome problem due to an update.

I tried earlier today and just now and no luck using Firefox browser. After reading this discussion I tried IE and it works. It isn't ideal to change browsers, but okay on a temporary basis. Let's hope this gets resolved soon.

Success with Internet Explorer. Chrome still not working. I'm not a programmer/web dev so I have no idea why the browser matters on something as simple as "Send this text to that server."

Same here. Can log in with Explorer but I get the you entered wrong password error with Chrome and Firefox. I was able to log in with Chrome and Firefox on an old desktop that hasn't had any updates to Windows, Firefox etc in over a month.

Same problem here. And I log in Internet Explorer. BUT I can't log in Mozilla Firefox 50.1.0. What is problem???

just got on using edge, thought I got banned or something lol

Been having the same problem (and had the same resolution).

Chrome is my preferred browser and I couldn't log in so I switched to Safari.No problem.

I've been having the same problem with my account (wii2). I was able to log in Saturday morning but haven't been able to log in since. I've tried using Chrome, Firefox and Opera on both linux and android with the same results. IE is not an option for me. I know it's not because of an update in Chrome because I didn't update it between logging in and not being able to log in. I had to create a new account just to be able to post this.

I can not still log in firefox browers. :mad:

Chrome not working. Edge (sucks) does work.

If you use firefox then you have to make a chronicle. Then it works again.

You will find this setting under Tools, Privacy and then choose Create Chronicle.

Glad I finally remembered to check the support forum. Chrome still a no go, but I was able to log in via Edge. I thought I was banned! :)

No go for me with Chrome - how long will this take to fix?

same problem - will not accept my log in with my usual details - username nigbo. I have re-registered as niggbo. What is going on?

After several attempt on firefox finally I logged in.
I just installed User-Agent Switcher and set Opera-Windows OS

Today, Chrome, Firefox, will not accept proven log-in credentials. Safari accepts them, but if attempting to view videos, a message pops up to say I'm not logged-in.

So, multiple browsers failing? What's up?

After the forums (just minutes ago) "closed for updates," I logged in without problem in Firefox...

I think we have a workable solution now.

Just got in with Chrome.
 

Don't forget to check the 'remember me' box when you log in!

I usually log-in with my IPad, it worked fine Saturday, but later in the day, it said the password was not correct and I could not login. I used the forgot password to reset - no luck. Strangely, I had no problem logging in on my IPhone and I could also login using my lap top, I.E.
Safari and Chrome on my IPad still did not work!
I cleared all history and passwords from my IPad, and I was able to login using in private browsing on iPad, and then later using the normal log-in.
The layout of the site now looks different on my IPad, and the Smilies don't work when I make comments. Apart from that I am pleased to be back online!
I'm typing this on my laptop :) and the smiles work.
