Really looking forward to what will hopefully be many pics of you Bootcamp Bunny!

I will be there for both days. This year the convoy is two cars, two guys, and eight women. Last year I barely remembered to take any pictures, hopefully this year I will be a little more alert.

I plan on coming on Friday and staying until Monday morning.

There is an awesome meet and greet potluck dinner Friday evening. Its worth it. Come early and sleep in Saturday!

I will definitely be there this year. Getting my tickets at Exxxotica. They said they will have a booth there set up and will be selling tickets for the show as well. Boot Camp, I have to make sure I get alot of pictures of you this year. I missed you last year except for about 2 pics.

My take on this years event-

Smallest amount of females on stage ever.
Largest amount of males!
Not very many people in the crowd having fun getting photographed. Sorry for all of you who like that sort of thing, but the subject doesnt have much new content.
People are getting ruder than ever and selfie sticks and phones are hated by almost all the photographers.
The rain on Sunday didnt seem to dampen the event, it just gave everyone an hour break. I spent it in the hospitality shelter hanging out with another photographer.
Wet t-shirt contest was pretty good with some new talent and not won by a performer like last year. (Were all still booing that maiden music!!) However it was ended suddenly by Scarlet the boss lady for some unknown reason. No dance offs for the top contestants. The winner was an "unwilling" amateur who would show anything all day but put on a good show for the contest.

Sunday night rainstorm was wild. I havent experienced that much lightning in a storm ever!

Great to see my friends from years past and make some new ones. I still had a blast.

Yes it seems there was a shortage of contestants, im seeing the same 2 girls on all the posts on flickr...

I will post my photos soon too. I agree with what rumfungle said: there were fewer women than in the past, and more male contestants, including some who were obviously not dancers. There were a lot fewer spectators too, you could always stand right at the fence when you wanted to.

The wet t-shirt winner won because she had the most friends in the audience, they screamed the loudest.

My understanding is that there are political issues within Ponderosa about NAP, and the future of NAP is unclear. Scarlet did not seem to be in a good humor, the staff were mentioning that she had made a number of harsh decisions.

Still a great event though. Annie Lane was the class of the field, from what I could see.

The management of the event does not seem much concerned with pleasing their (regular price) customers. Charging the same amount for Saturday as Sunday cuts down the number of photographers to make access easier. But it also cuts down the number of naked women spectators. Girls posing around the pool seemed completely random this year. No organization or effort to get larger numbers of them out and about. But God bless the few who were out all day and sweated their asses off Sunday afternoon. If there was a point to Saturday's "games" I missed it. And Sunday's contest got inexplicably aborted before it really got going. Everyone who has seen a Wet-T contest knows that the best and wildest action happens after the field gets narrowed. It was obvious that some of the girls were planning to show more in the second round.

Sunday morning's Act of God also hurt naked women spectator attendance but I can't blame management for that one. Management obviously catered to the thousand dollar Gold attendees to the point of them being allowed inside the fence and thus often blocking the shots for us hoi pollei.

If you've always wanted to attend but haven't made it, I highly suggest you get there soon as I predict a rapid decline and fall if major changes aren't made quickly.

Brightening my weekend, I had a lot of fun Saturday afternoon and evening across the street.

The worst year ever.
 

The number of the girls was at an all time low and the quality of the girls was equal to that. I commend the girls that did come, but we expect much more from this venue for the money we pay and in a lot of instances, the distance we travel. I was extremely disappointed with the way management ran the event. They've consistently run the event into the ground, almost as if they KNOW there is no tomorrow for the event, it's running on fumes. They do absolutely nothing to entice strip clubs to bring more girls to the event. You'd think they could give some sort of stipend to appeal to each club. Years ago, you'd have clubs from Iowa (for example) bringing 30 girls or more. Now, I think the most a club brought was 5 or 6 from Club O in the Chicago suburbs (45 minutes away). Scarlett, the manager of the event, suddenly cut the final round of the wet t short and once again extremely disappointed the crowd. Last year we had the clear winner "Bushmaster" AKA Maidenmusic lose to a professional....a very sad ending of the day to my friends and myself. As was said in an earlier post, the final round of the wet t is by far the best and what everyone looks forward to. This time the final round was the first round....as lame as it gets. Once again, the boo birds echoed their ugly sound. After talking with longtime NAP veterans that refuse to return, I have to agree that the management has given up on this event. If there is any other venue out there that would be willing to host an event such as this, it's out there for the taking.

Hopefully we can get some contestant names and numbers together soon. I haven't seen much out there yet, but here's what I've pulled so far

You are referring to Sun Aura? Google does not have much to say about that, I was hoping to learn more.

Sun Aura is a lifestyle-friendly nudist resort. It's on a large grounds with lots of trailers and camping spots, and a huge big-rig-friendly parking lot. It is 18+ only and is open to swinging etc.

Ponderosa Sun Club, 363 days a year, is an all-ages, family-friendly, no-sexual-behavior nudist resort. NAP is the only weekend where anything vaguely licentious is tolerated. I think that difference (1 weekend versus the rest of the year's cultural attitudes) is at the heart of the tension for running NAP.

The 2 places do NOT get along.

10 years ago, around 90 girls participated. Now... just 40 :confused:. The phenomen seems weaking year by year :(

I also notice a decline of desire to showing off in audiance area. Arfff :eek:

I agree completely! My last NAP after travelling over 500 miles each way.

I didnt see any decline, there just werent a lot of women there to show off!

It seems sort of odd because of the popularity of "sexting." I would think there would be a lot of exhibitionists who would want to come and have some naked fun.

Oh well.
