Nudity at Work
 

I'm not taking about places where nudity is normal, strip joints etc, but regular workplaces where nudity is out of the norm.

I've only had it once that I can remember. I was the manager of a waterfront loading facility, it was a cold day in February and about the only female in the dock area was a woman safety inspector, Mary, who worked under my direction. I was on my office one afternoon and the "man overboard" horn goes off, I run outside in time to see them pulling a very wet, cold and scared Mary out of the water with a life ring. She had her PFD on but was in the cold water for at least 10 minutes.

I called EMS, turned the heater up in my office and yelled at the rescue crew to bring her, she walks in shivering to death I wrap a blanket around her trying to try to warm her up, I was afraid she was going into shock, but I tell her I'll leave so she can get out of those wet clothes. She stutters "I can't, help me", her hands were shaking so badly she couldn't get undressed. The were no women around to help, so I closed my office door and got her get undressed and warmed up by the heater. Mary was not model material, just a normal working mother doing her job. With a few cups of coffee and a jump suit from the storeroom, she refused EMS treatment and went to work filing reports about her accident.

No one ever mentioned it until Mary made a comment that she was glad she wore nice undies that day.

Nice theme and good story. I'm glad to hear that in the emergency situation there was no false modesty and that you handled it and her 100% correctly.

There was a story around 1st April about a Silicon Valley company going clothing optional. It was well reported at the time. Perhaps even here in the *naked in the news* thread. But a Google search this morning only brought up links to 404'd pages. Shame.

This was an April Fools joke, but amazingly it the people in the company actually stripped down in real life for the photoshoot.

Unfortunately, the employees weren't the only ones naked at The Bold Italic; revenues were pretty naked as well, so they closed a few days after the April 1 joke article. Guess they decided to have fun on their way out.

Great topic! Wish I had a great story, but I don't. I do remember working at a grocery store when a manager was caught in the dairy freezer having sex with one of the cashiers!

The point being that, as said above, they actually did go nude at work for the photo-shoot.

I can't imagine trying to get a hardon in the freezer. But I bet her nipples were hard.

It was quite hot weather, so naturally our clothes came off.. spending all day (ok, several days!) in the buff was quite fun, though extra care needed when sawing etc..
