Okay, lets play a game.

The major events for this year's WNBR are just around the corner, so lets get out bets in! Choose your 10 favourite WNBR girls from over the years and post them in this thread. The game is simple, if one of your girls makes an appearance at a 2015 ride, you win a point. First person with 10 points wins. If you get 10, let us all know so we can check your original post. No prizes, just glory :)

Now for the hard part, picking ONLY 10 favourites.

I'll start it off, here we go with my top 10, here's hoping they all make a triumphant return!

(I didn't pick Fiona Jayne because I think it's unlikely :( but if she returns, we all win!)

I think there are two ways to play this game. One is to pick the women that you actually think have the best odds of riding this year. The other is to pick the ones you WANT to ride this year. I am doing the latter. Some of these are obscure. All are from 2012 or later, to give myself an actual fighting chance of seeing more than one of these ladies in pictures this year.

Okay, here are my ten. With one or two substitutions, these are my favourite ever riders. One or two of them haven't ridden for many many years, so I don't for a minute think I'll win, but whatever. My entry criteria was simply that they must have completed the ride totally naked. Of course I'm interested in further photos of all of these riders.

this is definitely in the wishful-thinking category, these are the 10 girls i'd most like to see ride again!

yep the york girl (pic 1) is an all-time favourite. not holding high hopes of seeing a one-off from 2008 again, though . . .

the girl in pic 2 is from bristol, 2010 I think.

the yellow cap girl organised the first two bristol rides.

The girl in pic 9 is from Bristol as well, I believe. As is pic 8 from my set, once again some of these haven't been seen for a while so it's wishful thinking on my part:

Both girls in the first picture have a high chance of riding again. The others... I surey hope so

I'd be very surprised if we don't see the two girls in the first picture this year.. and probably at multiple rides (I chatted to them at London last year, they were wanting to do Brighton as well, but only realised too late that Brighton had been the weekend before!).

I'd say they're dead certs for Bristol...

Let me see if I've got this right: You post ten girls and get a point for every one that rides in 2015. First person to ten points wins. But that means that the winner would have to go 10 for 10, i.e. EVERY girl he posts would have to have ridden in 2015. Am I reading this right?

Why not just reward the guy who posts the MOST girls to ride in 2015? Assuming no one is allowed to post more than ten girls, that evens the field and the winner would be the guy with the highest percentage of repeat riders.

Its just that its hard to imagine that anyone is going to get more than a few repeaters out of his ten favs. Favs are going to tend to be the best looking riders, not the ones that you might know from experience have been repeat riders.

And I could sweeten the pot as an incentive. I've still got many unpublished pics from various events, including campus runs. One event in particular I don't post from for reasons which I can't go into, but I can still send pics privately by other means. Dozens of pics here.

Also - don't post Fremont pics and if two or more girls are visible in a pic, make sure you identify which one you are talking about.

Agreed, its unlikely that someone will get to 10 points. But is possible. So if noone does get to ten, the next highest is the winner :)

It says 25th of April 2009, then under that is some script writing that I can't make out.
Obviously a date that is significant to her!

The writing says "Seventeen minutes past..."

" ... eleven".

With the mention of a specific time it points to a birth, don't you think ?

I think I was referring to my campus event pics. I generally am frugal about posting these because of the sensitive nature of these events. Head over to the official campus naked run thread and see my last post. If you want to see more of these pics, I have a challenge for y'all.

I hope I'm not sounding overly miserly or stingy for not posting more of these pics. Truth be told, I already have a lot of campus stuff up, and what remains is, with the exception of one event in particular, a small percentage of what I've posted.

I ran across an article the other day in which a woman who ran in one of these events reiterated how the presence of cameras almost spoiled the experience for her. I attended that particular event a few years ago and that is one that I have been somewhat reluctant to post from.

All right, I'll play along. I've kind of been wanting to make a "Fango's Top 10 WNBR Girls" post for a while, so I suppose this is as good an opportunity as any. I could easily put together my top 20 favorites, but in keeping with the spirit of the game, I've managed to whittle it down to 10. In the two cases where girls rode as pairs, I've decided to count them as one. Also, please forgive any inaccuracies with dates; I think I've gotten them right, but I'm not that great at keeping track of all of the different rides. The following list is subject to change at a moment's notice, and I will probably regret leaving off somebody or other tomorrow:

9. Adorable Girl from Manchester 2011.
8. Butterfly Girl from San Francisco 2011.
7. Jasmin from San Francisco 2012.
6. Flower Girl from London 2013.
5. Fiona and Friend, the Tandem Bike Girls from London 2010. (Fiona rode several times, of course, but her friend never made a return appearance. :( I always preferred them together. They complement each other so well.)

3. The Chicago WNBR Beauty from Chicago 2013 (already rode again last year, but only one picture of her posing with a group was found).
2. Floppy Hat Girl from London 2009.
1. Ruth S., The Girl With The Fantastic Rack, from Brighton 2013 (She's lately leapfrogged Floppy Hat Girl to become my absolute favorite WNBR girl of all-time. I keep meaning to start a tribute thread for her, but it's a bit of an undertaking.)

I hope to see all of these lovely ladies ride again. :)

I can put up four for now. Five girls in all. The first pic is from Portland 2014. I really hope these girls show up again in 2015 because they were awesome. BTW - Portland's ride this year has been moved to June 27th or thereabouts. You know what that means? MORE SUNLIGHT! I hope to be there.

Pics 2 and 3 are also mine, from Seattle 2006 and Eugene 2009. Doubt either of these girls will ride again.

The last pic is one I just Flickred up from London.

My own collection is off line at the moment - otherwise I could easily post 6 more girls.

Don't have time to come up with my own list and play at the moment, but there are some really faptastic choices being made in this thread. I'm surprised to see so many girls I don't recognize as having seen in the threads before, including some that would make my all time list. Well done, gents!

And the one you call 'cutie' was one of my faves too! One of a bunch of Spanish students from Brighton 2010.

Here she is clowning around on the grass, and exposing a bit more than she intended!

She rode in 2006 again in full bodypaint but hasn't been near the rides since.

In particular number 1 - I can't believe she doesn't get more attention on this board! If she rides again this year (she rode topless in Brighton 2013 and 2014) I really really hope she follows her friend's example (the girl with the tattoo on her hip that a few have posted) and gets completely naked.

Yes, she did: in 2006, then, after 2007 unluckily she didn't ride anymore.

'Macie', the mega tattoo lady, seen at Brighton a couple of times.. would be interesting to see how much more she's had done!
