Lord Lucan Presents...The Great British Picture Show

8 Attachment(s)
To celebrate that I have just entered my tenth year of posting on this board, I would like to do my own thread which will concentrate on mainly British films - especially from the 1970s when the majority of Britfilms being made were rubbish sex films. Just about everything is out of copyright and in many cases, the full version of the movie is available on You Tube.
If you have anything that fits the bill - please feel free to add it on.

First up is a 'comedy' from 1975 called 'Can You Keep It Up For A Week?'. This one is not on You Tube. Our hero accidentally pulls a girls trousers down, gets caught in a car wash, talks to his girlfriend, then mistakenly thinks he is being given a medical.

A Thousand Thrills And Hayley Mills

6 Attachment(s)
Hayley Mills one time child star shows off how she grew up in a half decent thriller called 'Deadly Strangers' The complete movie is on You Tube.

The first clip features creepy Simon Ward observing a girl (Nina Francis) getting changed. Then Hayley is caught in her bath, before Simon checks her through the peephole.

Just so people can keep track:

Still 1 = Video 2
Still 2 = Video 3
Still 3 = Video 4
Still 4 = Video 1

Thanks

Congrats on the milestone, love the theme you're going with!

From a 1966 Britfilm. The trailer is on You Tube and this is possibly the only worthwhile moment in the movie which was rated U in the UK (equivalent of G in USA) meaning safe for children.

I've always thought, British filmmakers really knew how to make good EUF scenes back in the 60's and 70's.

This one, along with the previously one of a woman losing her pants while fixing a car is some of the best I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing!

I have been unable to post for a while but I am now back.

A 1969 film that goes under a few titles. (Being from 1969 the nudity is minimal.)
Given the videos now stream I will not post any stills as I know some of you prefer to get the surprise of seeing what comes off / what's underneath etc.
The film is total crap, but I enjoyed the third clip because apparently this was unplanned and leading lady Renee Asherson did not know the camera was capturing lower regions for this shot and got an embarrassing surprise when she saw the film on the big screen.

Great thread. Carry on abroad attached.

A question, in any of these old British porn/sex comedies, was a WPC ever stripped naked ?

Where do you start answering that question?! :)

sbm 10-30-2015 01:12 AM

Thanks saw that one. Wonder if there were any more. Haven't seen many.

I'm adding in this one as I think everyone will enjoy it, but I don't want to go too off topic with the thread which is more about mainstream UK films.
This was possibly inspired from the days of kissograms where girls dressed up in uniforms (do people still do that?), so confusion could arise.

There have been many posts (& threads) about this clip & the second part. Part 1 is the police woman aka stripagram & the second part is the female traffic warden. Just use the search above or https://forum.oneclickchicks.com/search.php & type in "traffic warden" or "police woman".

sbm 10-30-2015 04:24 PM

Thanks. In any mainstream films were policewomen stripped ?

Ah man, thank you! Been looking for a decent quality version of that for YEARS.

sbm 10-31-2015 05:01 AM

The traffic warden/ WPC strip scene has been posted before (not complaining though) but does anyone have the complete section which takes us from the WPC to the Traffic Warden its conclusion ?

Really appreciate the responses. Thanks

Here is a lengthy clip of the WPC and Traffic Warden portion of the film "Five of the Best". I had to lower the quality a bit to keep the file a little smaller.

sbm 11-05-2015 10:01 AM

Really appreciated! Thanks. Anywhere for a higher Q version ?

daleksupreme 11-15-2015 12:48 AM

Fantastic!

I had been looking for a good quality version of that clip for years! Fantastic where did it come from?

idehill01 11-19-2015 08:22 AM

There was a series of (very) soft porn movies in the 1990s called "Girls in Uniforms". It appeared in the opening credits.

sbm 11-19-2015 10:29 AM

I remember those. There were some good scenes in some. Still interesting to note- other than that and the Six of the Best clip, no WPC stripping in any Brit sex comedies of the period.

Playbirds 1978

1 Attachment(s)
Many people in the UK of a certain age will remember a TV show called 'Please Sir' and one of the young cast was Penny Spencer who left the show and drifted in to some pretty dodgy movies including one called 'Playbirds' which has a plot that requires a policewoman to go undercover as a stripper - so senior detectives check out all the girls on the force and get them to strip to see if they are up to the job. One of the girls is Penny Spencer - unfortunately not in uniform - but giving us a glimpse of what was always covered up in 'Please Sir'.

OMG. Is that, or is that not, the bloke who did "That's Life"?

lord lucan 07-31-2016 05:17 AM

Well spotted. I knew his face when I posted it but could not place him. There were so few films being made in England in the late 1970s that loads of half decent people ended up in what we once called 'skinflicks'.

The Ups And Downs Of A Handyman

4 Attachment(s)
Pretty awful British film from 1975 that owes much to the Benny Hill Show and even features Bob Todd from that.
Clip 1 - our hero takes on a mother and daughter in the bath.
Clip 2 - another bath with his wife
Clip 3 - the local amateur photographer gets the local posh tart (who's a bit of an innocent) to strip
Clip 4 - our hero gets another mother and daughter

More to follow if 15 or more people click on THANKS

This is taken from the British TV show 'The 2 Ronnies', a much watched comedy from the 1970s. In season 1 there was a mini series within it called 'Hampton Wick' and this clip is from that. I only became aware of it when leading lady Madeleine Smith was being interviewed years later and said that as she was doing the scene, she became aware of her nipple popping out but thought she had better carry on and she was surprised that this is the scene they used which was watched by a family audience on a Saturday night - and it still gets reruns during the morning and afternoon today.

Some more from 'Hampton Wick'. Not a lot on show but some nice reactions.

From the late 1960s this is from 'The Rise And Rise Of Michael Rimmer' which featured some heavyweight actors and Peter Cook and was quite funny and had the odd sexy bit.

Do you know who the actress is in the bathtub clip?

Thanks

The only bright moment in an otherwise terrible film (available on You Tube) is this clip featuring actress Wendy King who steps out on to the ledge to save two old guys. (The film would be better if she had let them fall.) This film was released in the UK in 1973 with an A certificate (equivalent to PG) and was shown on TV uncut at 7:30 in the evening in 1978.

The Brits really know ENF

From Benny Hill to Are You Being Served?, the British have shown a great ability to tease and integrate undressed embarrassment into TV and film. I have collected all of the " Carry On" videos, about 24, and every one has a scene of a girl being embarrassed. Thank you for these---they are all great.

From 'Confessions Of A Pop Performer'. A girl's mother has come looking for her. She is a groupie and is in the van. The best line was the old woman saying to one of the guys "Have you seen my Fanny?" He replies "No missus - I saw the Curse Of Frankenstein and that was bad enough". So as you see, no one was paying for the jokes - just the crumpet!

This is from a 1970 film called 'Goodbye Gemini' (also known as 'Twinsanity'). It is one weird film and clip 1 (on the right) shows Judy Geeson getting out of bed while being observed by Martin Potter who plays her twin brother!!! The second clip is kinda self explanatory.

lord lucan 12-17-2017 05:39 AM

Does anyone remember Tara King from 'The Avengers'?

This is Linda Thorson showing quite a lot in a comedy sketch with Frankie Howerd in 1976. This clip formed part of the trailer which was aired during peak TV time to attract a family audience.

Curse Of The Fly

1 Attachment(s)
I just discovered this and was unsure of where to file it. It's an edit of the opening credits of the 1965 film 'Curse Of The Fly' and it has a certain amount of nostalgia value as this is pre bikini briefs and pre thong and shows what girls used to wear under their dresses fifty plus years ago. The actress is Carole Gray who once starred with Cliff Richard in 'The Young Ones'.
