have six threads going of pics off of cd's
10,100 views and 10 comments
i do appreciate those who comment and add pics to threads
but makes me wonder if more than a few like what i post
only 1 out of 1,010 do?
i mean i know feedback rate is terrible
and i don't do enough
but i guess it makes me think about what i'm posting
3 threads have 4100 views and 0 comments
maybe i should discontinue them

I would not discontinue your threads or posting.
I have posted thousands of pictures and 10 or 15 videos.
I raerly get coments or even posts to make the thread grow
but I have tens of thousnads of views in some cases so I keep posting
because there being enjoyed.
so if people don't give comments but there viewing keep them coming :)

I think some members take for granted what it takes for another member
to post alot....but don't take it personal.

I thoroughly enjoy the postings here. I have not posted many movies, but never had any comments to those I have posted. I don't comment on postings from the net because I do not like to page through numerous 'that is a great post' postings from others. I think it is possible there are other people that feel that same way.

Well, at the risk of being internally inconsistent, I don't post a comment very often by choice--if I really like a post, I'll comment. If I like it somewhat, then not. If I commented on every post I liked even a little bit (and everyone else did, as well), then all we'd have is posts of comments without substance. Personally, I would like to get one comment per post. Lets ya know someone else enjoyed it. More than that, and you're just feeding your ego...

At 8:00pm 6/12/05, you posted 4 pics of yourself - pretty much clothed (boob exposed in one, nice butt-shot in another), then at 9:00 the next morning you posted the following:

"NO Comments?????
WTF???? Can't you lurkers at least post some comments???? If you want me to keep posting you better leave something!!!!"

You didn't post the type of pics that seem to inspire most feedback on the forums.

You didn't leave much time for feedback before complaining.

Your complaint was not worded in a way that would motivate many people to please you.

I may be wrong, and I don't pretend to speak for others, but this is my sincere answer to your question.

On behalf of all the lurkers out there, thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who posts. I personally appreciate every post – even the ones that I may not “enjoy” as much as others, but that is only personal preference and you have gone to an effort that I must applaud and tip my hat to.

Saying that, the effort that you all have gone to, the admin crew for keeping the site alive and for having this magic site up in the first place is top notch. I don’t get any viruses from this site and the atmosphere is always positive – we are here for quality porn and a good time and over the last 6 months since I have been visiting this site I have always left with a smile which is more than I can say for some other sites.

It may sound pitiful but I don’t like to comment because I don’t want to keep putting the old post to the top as that is frustrating as hell - as well as I have nothing new to contribute that would not be a repost – All my growth in porn comes from you guys!

Anyway - At least I know there is a bunch of people in this world that I share a common interest in with that I would love to sit down with and have a beer or two and discuss ENF etc.

Kudos to anyone who posts.I post 'cos I like to simple as that. If some one responds to what I've posted that's great but I don't beat myself up if they don't.Its not brain surgery I'm doing-just gathering porn from over the net to one spot. My pregnant thread for instance has 98 posts nealy all mine but if it's got almost 18,000 views some one must be paying attention.Don't take it personally if your not getting the response you want but then again try not to get your validation from strangers either :) lets face it there's unlimited porn around and if some guy is too busy with his hand down his pants to say thanks then just let it fly

I pay most attention to that little pop up window that comes up when you hover your mouse over each pic. The "views" there are like a "sale" to a businessman. The numbers there influence my posting more than the comments.

I think comments are best reserved for new posters that you want to encourage and posts of any material that you want to see more of. Use them to influence the overall direction of OCC. If a comment is not likely to change the posting habits of a particular poster (i.e. just tell him something he already knows) then it probably can be done without.

mcp1275, i look forward to your posts as you know but you and I also know we are a couple of old guys and who knows what the vast majority of lurkers really want to see. Keep posting pics you like, and the rest should take care of itself. I know if my posts are starting to go downhill before I even see the numbers because my instincts tell me :) And I also have had a few posts lately that I thought were super but had very low numbers - is everyone on vacation and will things pick up after school starts again?
