No email notifications
 

Please could come one tell me if there is a problem getting subscribed to thread email notifications ?
As for the last week I haven't received any, I am subscribed to 20 odd threads and no email notifications
I have tried unsubscribing then resubscribing, checked my email address is still correct etc. but still no joy

I'll look into this for you.

I confirmed that subscription e-mails are successfully being sent out from our forum.
That being said, there still may be issues specific to Hotmail if they are not allowing e-mails to be delivered.
I'll try to look for more details on what exactly is happening here.

It stopped about 2 weeks ago, I have access to the email account through 4 computers, but none of them receive any notifications

Just throwing this out there but did you check your spam folder?

Mine have been working ok and I use Hotmail.

yes I did check spam folder, also signed in to hotmail account via 3 different web browsers and still nothing :confused:

Which threads are you missing out on? There may be something else going on. We just ran a test and the time from post to notification was one minute.

Some other things to check would be your ignore list (under user control panel) ,as well as checking the subscribed threads list. The e-mail notification has options for instant, daily, and weekly. Make sure the selection is correct for each thread.

Let us know and we'll try to help figure this out.

I do not get any notifications for any subscribed threads,( i.e. rajce.idnes....beach babes....)all were set to daily notifications, what I've tried doing is, unsubscribe, leave the page, return to the page, re-subscribe with instant notifications, also I've subscribed to some new popular threads since reading your post and subscribed to them with instant notifications......Posts have been made to them since subscribing but I have not received any emails :confused:

Re what you say about "ignore list" I have looked at this and I do not have any one added to that list.

Back to the problem at hand. Do you get notified of PM messages or is it just subscriptions?

Regional issue.
 

This appears to be localized to the U.K. It may be the local ISP tightening security.
We've exchanged several messages and verified that both our system, and his are functioning.
If anyone knows of a workaround, please share it here.
