Woman Left Topless After Alleged Macy's Theft

A woman who became topless during a struggle with a security guard at an Arcadia Macy’s after she was allegedly caught shoplifting is facing a theft charge after turning herself in to investigators.

Jeannue Hua, 45, turned herself in Monday to the Arcadia jail, where she was booked for one felony count of petty theft with a prior conviction, according to the Arcadia Police Department.

Hua allegedly tried to sneak items shoplifted from the department store at the Santa Anita Mall Sunday night by slipping them into her purse.

When she was approached by the guard, there was a struggle for the purse, and Hua’s bra and shirt came off during the altercation. She then allegedly ran to her car topless - also leaving her purse with her driver’s license behind.

Woman sues LaSalle County over strip-search

Dana Holmes was drunk, naked and being recorded on video.

The 33-year-old was facedown on the floor of a LaSalle County jail cell while cameras captured images of her nude body on the facility's video system. Minutes earlier, four deputies — three men and a woman — had pulled her to the ground and carried her into the cell, where they quickly and forcibly stripped Holmes and walked out with her clothes.

"There was no excuse or anything to give them a reason to put their hands on me," said Holmes, who filed a federal lawsuit against LaSalle County authorities Monday. "I was just scared. I didn't want them to have any reason to come back inside."

Holmes, whose blood-alcohol level registered nearly three times the legal limit when she was arrested for drunken driving earlier in the night, said she lay on the floor crying. After a few minutes, the cell door opened, and a deputy tossed in a pile of blankets and what authorities describe as a "padded suit."

More than an hour later, when deputies fingerprinted and photographed Holmes, she was covered only in one of the blankets wrapped around her body, the jail video showed. It was provided to the Tribune by Holmes' attorneys. The images show several male officers entering the room as a still-inebriated Holmes struggles to keep the blanket around her shoulders while being fingerprinted.

Holmes, who lives in Coal City and works at a local convenience store, alleges the LaSalle County sheriff's department and four deputies violated her civil rights after her May arrest and caused her emotional harm by stripping her naked without legal justification for such a search.

Cops were responding to Krystle Silvera’s Flatbush home looking for her ex-boyfriend in connection to violating an order of protection, according to Silvera’s lawsuit, which also contains disturbing allegations that she was sexually abused by a cop.

The mother had been upstairs getting her 5-year-old daughter ready for school. She bolted downstairs into the fray, dressed in her underclothes, and was grabbed by a cop who pulled her outside in the freezing cold, the suit alleges.

While Silvera was being restrained, her breast popped out of her bra revealing a pierced nipple, according to the suit.

“The officer flicked the piercing, he flicked the ring up with his finger on my right breast,” she said. “He said, ‘Is this what mothers look like these days?’

“My neighbors saw me naked. It was degrading. I can deal with the embarrassment of what (the police) did to me in front of my neighbors
, but the hardest thing is explaining to my kids that not all police are bad,” she added.

R'n'B singer ASHANTI revealed more than she intended to during a recent appearance on British music show TOP OF THE POPS - one of her breasts fell out of her top.

The sexy star was performing her new single ROC WIT U when her t-shirt slipped aside to give the audience an unexpected peek at her bust.

Humiliated Ashanti clutched her top and announced, "My goodies have popped out."

A source from the TV programme comments, "She left the stage to secure her top and then carried on as if nothing had happened."

There is something fictional going on here. Ashanti was born October 13th 1980. Top of the Pops, which ran from the mid-1960s was last broadcast on 30th July 2006, when Ashanti would have been 15 and I know she was not on the final broadcast.

In the last two years it has become clear the many of the Top of the Pops presenters over the years were indeed child-molesters and worse. The whole story is quite disgusting.

30 July 2006 minus
13 October 1980

= 25 years old, not 15.

Lawsuit accuses cops of rough treatment, leaving woman half naked during Leesburg Bikefest

An Ocala woman who was arrested on charges of being drunk and disorderly during Leesburg's Bikefest last year filed a lawsuit this week accusing law-enforcement officials of knocking out her front teeth and leaving her half-naked for thousands to see.

Ashleigh Davis, 32, was arguing with a friend's boyfriend when Leesburg police officers and Lake County deputy sheriffs asked her and the friend to leave, said Stan Plappert, Davis' attorney. When she refused, Plappert said
the officers tackled and "hog-tied" her, handcuffing her hands and feet behind her back.

"During the tackle, her bikini top came off," the Ocala attorney said.

With her breasts exposed, Davis was carried off in a golf cart through the crowded festival and taken to the police station, where she remained topless for at least two hours, Plappert said. The booking-room video camera captured the topless woman lying on the concrete floor, surrounding by male officers.

Davis, who is studying to be a nurse, was still half-naked when she was transported to the Lake County Jail in Tavares, he added.

"The way she was treated was despicable," Plappert said. "It was inhumane."

On Tuesday, she filed the suit in Marion County against the two agencies, alleging
officers and deputies used excessive force and humiliated her. She accused them of groping, manhandling and gawking at her in the lawsuit

Laurel resident Aarika Scott told the council that in July, without provocation, Laurel Police officers assaulted, maced and exposed her after she was stopped for driving with an expired license plate.

Scott said an officer told her to exit the car and then grabbed her by the arm; when she told the officer to let go, she said, the incident escalated. Scott said she was pulled out of the car and became exposed when officers attempted to subdue her.

Arrestee sues Phila. cops for forcibly exposing her breasts in presence of male officers

A Philadelphia woman is suing two city cops for assault, alleging the officers roughed her up and humiliated her by stripping her in front of male colleagues at a local police precinct.

Hagar Redmond claims in her civil suit, filed July 23 at Philadelphia’s Common Pleas Court by local attorney Alan E. Denenberg, that after she was arrested at her home on July 21, 2010, and transported to the 35th District police station, Officer Rochelle Downing and Officer Wexler, (no first name given), humiliated Redmond by pulling off her blouse, undoing her bra and exposing the woman’s breasts in the presence of male police officers.

Detective Lorenz, a New York City Police Detective arrested plaintiff and charged her with possession of marijuana. After her arrest, plaintiff was separated from other arrestees and transported to various locations around the city for several hours by NYPD officers. During that time she was rear-handcuffed and seated in the back of a police car. According to plaintiff, no safety device was used to protect her from possible injury. At some point during her detention, plaintiff's shirt began to slip off her shoulder. She informed the officers of her situation and requested assistance to avoid humiliation and embarrassment. Plaintiff maintains that although acknowledging her situation and aware that because she was rear-handcuffed she could not help herself, the officers deliberately failed and refused to assist her. Shortly thereafter, plaintiff's shirt fell off her shoulder, leaving her breast fully exposed. Plaintiff was forced to remain in this state for approximately seven minutes in full public view before she was assisted.

Vineland police did not infringe on a local woman’s constitutional rights when they refused to let her get dressed while securing her bedroom in a 2010 raid, a federal court jury has found.

Tyisha Stratton had sued the City of Vineland, its police chief Tim Codispoti and former detective Gamaliel “Gami” Cruz in 2012, alleging Cruz and other officers violated her civil rights by making her wait topless while a search warrant was conducted in her home.

Officers, which included Cruz and detectives Paul Shadinger, Misael Candelario and Gary Mollik, then headed over to Najee’s second house — an apartment on East Park Avenue he shared with his wife — to search for any proceeds he may have made off drug sales.

At the apartment, the officers found Stratton partially nude with her breasts apparently exposed.

“(Stratton) began arguing with the officers while yelling and using obscene language and refused to comply with the officers’ orders to remain still,” Cruz’s attorneys stated in their trial memorandum.

The detectives executed a search warrant at the apartment and conducted a sweep of Stratton’s bedroom to ensure no one else was present, they said in their official report.

During that sweep, however, they refused to let Stratton cover up her exposed breasts. Cruz said the entire incident lasted about 30 seconds, a fact Stratton denied.

After the search, the officers then let Stratton put on a tank top, escorted her out of the bedroom and placed her on the living room couch while they searched the rest of her home, their report states.

In her testimony, Stratton described an incident that she claimed lasted 15 minutes and left her fearful and emotionally damaged.

In her version of events, Stratton said she heard a knock on her bedroom door and opened it to find 4 or 5 officers “with guns raised and flashlights out.”

After 15 minutes, Stratton said she was handcuffed and taken to her living room without being allowed to cover up her bare breasts.

Stratton said she was “extremely frightened” and urinated herself while being detained.

After police left the apartment, Stratton said one officer came back and “shoved” a search warrant in her face, saying, “There is your search warrant.”

Stratton claimed emotional distress in her civil suit, saying her sex life had been affected as a result of the raid and that she has lived in constant fear of police entering her home.

TORONTO — Despite a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit, an Ontario judge has cleared a woman of drunk driving because, during her arrest, her breasts were exposed by a female police officer who unzipped her sweater in view of two male officers.

D’Andrade was arrested a little over a year ago, at 4:45 a.m., by police officers who noticed her swerving in her lane on Dixie Road, near Toronto’s main airport. They suspected impairment when they saw her stop at a red light “well beyond the crosswalk.”

“When the light turned green, she kept driving and swerving in her lane. The officers put on their emergency lights to pull her over,” the judge wrote. “Ms. D’Andrade switched lanes, went up on the curb with both tires, came down off of the curb and stopped.”

The first officer to speak to her noticed the smell of alcohol. She told him she had had one Smirnoff Ice. A female officer, identified as McClinchey, arrived within minutes with a breathalyzer, which D’Andrade failed. Later, at the police station, further tests would measure her blood-alcohol level at 161 and 166 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood, roughly double the legal limit of 80.

As she was being arrested, she “repeatedly” asked the police for a “break and to let her go,” saying she just broke up with a boyfriend and was “having a lot of issues.” She said she was a dental hygienist and helped people, the judge wrote.

It did not work. The male officer handcuffed her behind her back and presented her to McClinchey for a pat-down search, in preparation for taking her to the station where a more thorough search would be done.

D’Andrade was wearing black tights under knee-high boots, and a tight-fitting sweater, which McClinchey unzipped all the way down, disconnecting it at the bottom. She had assumed, wrongly, that there was a shirt underneath, and it took “several moments” to zip it back up, because it snagged. She had not asked D’Andrade if she could unzip her sweater, nor warned her she would. She said the two male officers “watched the whole thing,” and the judge found as fact they were about a metre away.

Police raid home, terrorize children, handcuff naked woman—and then realize it’s the wrong house

Diaz was handcuffed and naked, while her two young daughters huddled next to her, shaking with fear. A female officer conducted an invasive, full-body search on Diaz, even though she was already nude and not permitted to cover herself.

The whole raid “was terrorizing, and the worst thing I’ve ever been through in my life,” Diaz said of the incident. The cops who invaded her home “were loud, very vulgar, and disgusting in behavior.”
