Hi everyone. My husband and I are having a difference of opinion and I wanted to get some objective views... so here I am.

First of all, my husband ("Dave") and I have been married a bit over two years but have known each other for about four years. I consider our relationship excellent. In fact we joke about how our personalities compliment each other rather than being the same. Communication between us is also great.

One area that we differ on is past relationships and I suppose attitudes toward them. I was a free spirit and enjoyed exploring the world of relationships and sexuality. I never felt bad about the experiences I had. Dave was alot more reserved. So as you can expect I have had alot more "variety" than he has. Anyway, all of this was discussed way before we got married and Dave understood that he was "the guy" for me forever. Again it was all about communication. I wanted us to be completely honest with each other and we were. He's still not crazy about my past but he knows I love him with all my heart. I've introduced him to a couple of past flames (both are married now) because they are in our circle of friends and once again I wanted to be honest.

Our "intimate life" is great. I sort of took the lead in the beginning - he was a heck of a good student! I never deny him and he never denies me. We've discussed fantasies and have even tried a few. So I know he's happy.

So this past weekend we went over to Ken and Louise's home where he has a home studio. The shoot went really well. I thought I'd be nervous but I wasn't. Even when we got to the nude stage, I was past any fear and just felt sexy. Dave on the other hand was sort of nervous but eventually was OK.

At one point Ken suggested that we have a change of background so we all went to their great room. As we left his studio I was wearing a robe of course. Once we got to the other room we saw that Ken and Louise's son (1st year college) was there. Ken was nonchalant and said let's continue. So I took off the robe and we continued. The son came in and out of the room on a few occassions. It didn't really bother me because I'm pretty confident about my body and am not ashmaed of it (I've been to topless beaches). I couldn't really gauge Dave's reactions so we continued. The last few got a bit more revealing but I felt good. At some point Ken suggested that we call it a day so we did.

When we got home Dave said that he was shocked. I was truly surprised and asked him why. He said it was bad enough that Ken saw me nude but now so did their son. He said I should have stopped the shoot once we saw that the son was there. He also said that I shouldn't have done the hands and knees poses at the end.

I told him that it really is not a big deal at all and that he is over reacting but he says it is and has been upset since then.

How can I help him overcome his sense that something wrong happened when nothing wrong did?

My wife wanted to do a boudoir shoot for me once, a girl she went to high school with is a photographer and said she would give her a deal on it. The catch was that the girl's husband worked with my wife and she was sort of concerned about him knowing about/seeing the pictures. They were in a line of work where it wouldn't be good if word got out of there being pictures like that so she never did it. It didn't bother her that he might see her naked except the danger for her career. I was actually kind of excited knowing he might see her naked, because we all know that if your spouse takes sexy pictures of other women for a living, you are definitely going to check out her work! Now, she doesn't work there anymore so maybe she will be up for it, but I don't know, I might just have to find another place for her to go instead.

That was a hot story.

The funny thing is, your timing is perfect for me because my wife and I were just talking at length about having some professional boudoir photos done of her. She has even looked up some professional photographers in our area who do that kind of work.

She said she wants to do it as a surprise for me one day, so of course I wouldn't be there with her. Therefore, she asked me how far I thought she should go with the nudity and poses. I told her that I would be pleased with anything she thought she'd be comfortable with although I admitted that I'd be disappointed if she didn't "go far enough". At the going package price in our area of around $1,000, there'd better be nothing disappointing about the photos! (Price includes hair and makeup, studio time and processing, albums and various supplies. It seems that some of them will even ply her with lots of wine and hors' dourves to loosen her up as she gets her hair and make-up done.)

We discussed the fact that I'd want some photos that she wouldn't be ashamed to show family and friends and some shots that would be "for my eyes only". ;) I told her that I'd want some shots of her in some of her sexy or see-through negligees and even some full nudes if she felt comfortable enough or at least some bare skin. We have even been to various stores like Frederick's or Victoria's recently where I have pointed out several outfits I liked so she has some ideas to go by. One shot a I specifically requested was one of her nude and wrapped in furs. (This view has always turned me on immensely, probably due to a certain incident early in my childhood)

Anyway, I told her that if she does decide to go through with it, I hope she keeps a diary, minute by minute, of the day because the stories that go along with the photos would make the photographs that much hotter! I sure hope she goes through with it! She said she might even bring a friend with her and pay to have her session done too, which opens up a whole world of new possibilities! :D

PS... The guy in the story is an idiot! He was there for the whole session, so he knows that nothing out of the ordinary happened. If nothing else, I'd be disappointed that the son didn't stay to watch the whole session instead of walking in and out of the room time and again! He's not jealous that it was her Ex taking the photos but he's jealous of what the son might have seen? Ridiculous!

Throughout the years of being married to the current wife she has had 3 seating for boudoir shots. The first guy that took her photos was ok, nothing special. The shoot lasted about 2 hours and it was mostly nudes of her. I wasn't there but we were able to pick a few nice ones and I had one enlarged for over our bed.
A few years later we were referred to a guy in Los Gatos Ca. We went to him and discussed what we were looking for. We wanted to do the typical boudoir pics along with some nudes. The studio was booked for a week later and we showed up about mid morning. The studio had a make-up woman so she did the make-up about an hour before the shoot. The studio provided us with champagne and the shoot started about 1:00 P.M. The photographer was a great guy and was quite funny. He would pose on the brass bed to give my wife an idea what he was looking for.
As the shoot went on the champagne continued and about 20 photos later he asked my wife if she was ready to pose for the nudes. She stepped into the changing room and emerged completely nude except for a very sexy pair of white heels. The photographer shot probably another 20 pictures of her in all different nude poses. It was quite erotic to watch her pose and to see him direct her into all the different poses and expressions. All in all the entire session lasted close to 4 hours. As we discussed the session my wife just hung out in the studio nude sipping her last glass of champagne.
A few weeks later he called us and we went to the studio to review the pics. Out of all the pics he took I think I may have not purchased a half a dozen. I had him print a couple large ones on canvass for the bedroom. We did a album of 8X10s too.
Well a few years later I discovered that the colors were beginning to run and I contacted him about it. He contacted the company that did the development and they said that they apparently had a bad batch of chemicals and there were some complaints.
The photographer and the development company offered us to take some new photos so we went back to shot probably 15 of the nudes. Again, champagne flowed and we shot well into the evening hours. It was very erotic to watch her pose again for him and the camera. She was very comfortable with him and he was quite cool and saw every inch of her.
Those big portraits are still hanging in our bedroom. :D

I saw this thread last week, but I didn't have time to post. My wife has had 2 experiences with having boudoir pics taken. The first was going to be a surprise for me, but she eventually told me her plans because she wanted me to go with her. The photog was no amateur, he was an award winning, celebrated professional, when my wife inquired he said he has never done boudoir before, but he would love to try.

So my wife recently told me that her best friend is getting these kind of photos done for her husband, who I am good friends with. She said that her friend asked her to get them done with her as "support". My wife agreed and the shoot is in a couple weeks. I really wanna see the photos of her friend so I told her that they should do a shot or two together as a birthday gift for him, thinking that she would show me so I wouldn't be left out. We will see if she takes some with her. Either way I get some photos out of the deal. Either way I'm probably going to talk to my buddy after they are done and see about a "trade".

So the wife went to check the proofs today and select the ones she will keep. She said she decided on nine photos and loved how they turned out. She will be getting the pics in three to five days. I was curious about what her friend had to say about hers so I snooped a look at her texts tonight. Her friend talked about some of the outfits she wore and said she liked a few but not others. She mentioned an outfit with polka dots. I can only imagine... She also mentioned that she was excited to "share". I will surely be sneaking another peek at her texts as I'm sure this is how they will share. She lives about 2 hours away and they don't get together often. If she sends em, I will for sure be saving em!

Love this topic. I have wanted my wife to do this for me for years. I would love to see what a good photog could do and have some real quality shots of her.Id love to see the whole range,from "maxim" to "hustler" and maybe even beyond. Part of what is so hot is thinking about her posing for the guy and him telling her how to pose. I wouldnt want to be there for the shoot. Id love to drop her off at the guys place with her duffel bag full of outfits and toys and have her tell me to pick her up in 3 hrs. Then getting the pics back and getting to see it all like I was looking at some porno mag I just got. Like others have stated I would want her to give all the details of the shoot thaat she could.

On this topic. Has anyone ever seen or checked into "craigslist" advertised photographers? Many of them say they shoot for free and admit to be turned on by the process. They ask for no $ and they say they will not keep the pics. Anyone familiar with this? Ive emailed a couple locally and it seemed pretty hot. We chatted about his past experiences and some stories.he showed me some quality work-very sexy. He told me that he and I could continue chatting after the shoot without my wife knowing and I could hear from him all about the shoots little details. Lots of possibilities, but security of pics could be difficult... but also kind of hot and intruiging. Id love to hear your feedback or any info,experiences,advise...whatever.thanks

Sounds like fun, but I would absolutely need to be there, for my wife's safety. And if they guy's location/studio looks at all sketchy, then move the shoot to a hotel room the YOU have rented.
