The above post reminded me of this from my childhood.

I was taking swim lessons as a youngster of probably around 6. It was common for parents to join in helping the instructors (teen-agers) with their child in the pool. I remember seeing several fathers in the men's locker room changing before/after the lessons.

In the UK the public, gym or holiday pools, have either cubicles or single sex communal style changing. Using the facilities is mostly an unremarkable experience.

However, in most public pools there are also some changing facilities called 'Group Change'. This isn't as exciting as you might think, it's a larger communal room intended for single sex school groups, and teams of water polo etc. They are often locked unless a particular user group are expected, but at many pools they leave them open for public use. It's usually an opportunity for families to change together in a bigger space, they usually accommodate around 15-20, and my family (me, 2 boys and my wife) often make a beeline for these as we can all change together. They usually have door locks, but these are often either not used by the occupiers, or are faulty. They are mostly unoccupied.

At some more run down or overused pools these can be a busy changing space. We all entered one in London and there were two or three separate families getting changed with baby buggies and various bits of childcare kit. Both doors were unlocked, and there were bags from other families hanging up. Although there were loads of people in the swimming pool, and bags in the room, nobody came in before she was dressed.

We'll probably continue to use the communal group changing in public baths, so if you fancy gawking at a 45 year old , yoga loving, a-cup, fit runner MILF, with completely waxed everything, try visiting group changing facilities in UK Southern England public pools.

I have had similar experiences to the above post.

We have a community pool where kids under 17 are not allowed into the regular locker rooms, so they MUST use the family locker room.

The family locker room has a few cubicles that can BARELY hold a family of two or three, as well as an open area. You are NOT supposed to get changed in the open area, but when it gets super busy and there are looong lines for the cubicles, some people DO use the open area. For the most part it's dads being super careful and covered, but every once in a while you will see a mom try her best to change under a towel while others in her family help her stay covered. (Of course I won't mention the kiddos crabby and freezing after swim lessons.)

Then there is my mother in law. Several times she has changed in the open area in front of whoever is there. Doesn't care at all that she is been seen my so many people. And no one has complained yet. :)

In continental Europe, this would be unremarkable. Especially Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Nudity in France is commonplace, but not in an undesignated place.

Changing while driving
 

My now wife would routinely change clothes in the car, on the way from her work to yoga classes.

She'd stop a one red light, and remove her jeans, and drive in her knickers to the next red light, then put her yoga pants on. I was never in the car with her, although one day I met up with her at work and drove behind her to yoga. Never saw anything though. Just that she got in the car in one set of clothes, and arrived in another.
