In the early days of the internet and web cams, Jennifer Ringley became something of a legend with the "JennyCam." Toward the end of it's time, it was pretty tame, but in the early days she did some pretty good cam shows. Does anyone have any captures they could post? Maybe even a link to some video?

I didn't even realised it had stopped. I used to check every few months to see what was in the archive but I guess I missed the last year and a half!

That's saddened me.

i can remember having a membership to that site...it was one of the pioneers of "cam" sites...your right i would love to see some pics from the past.

well as i looked for some pics i found that its gonna be hard to find any that areant timestamped with her sites name...and i dont think we can post them.

Earliest Jennicam pics
 

Jenni was born August 10, 1976. The earliest Jennicam pix were from her college dorm room when she was 19. She was the first cam girl; at least, I have never heard of any before her. She later said "I am showing my life and sex is just a part of life, so I happen to show sex from time to time". However, in fact it seems that she did get turned on by showing herself, and that exhibitionism and sexual teasing were a part of it from the very beginning. The first pix were shown on April 3, 1996 and by April 13, 1996 she was teasing the viewers.
A note about "watermarks": as far as I know, these pix are not copyrighted by anyone. Jenni gave them away freely at that time, and many sites archived them. The one that I got them from happened to datestamp all the pix and label them "Vintage Jennicam", etc. The site doesn't exist anymore. Things change fast on the Net and these pix are over 9 years old.

October 6, 1996 "show"
 

Every once in a while in the early days Jenni used to do what she demurely called "shows". This meant, basically, striptease and masturbation shows on cam. I believe at that time that she would communicate with fans in real time on the #jennicam channel on EFNet on IRC. So what you are seeing is probably Jenni stripping and masturbating as she talks with her fans on IRC.
The earliest one I have found is from Oct. 6, 1996. It's possibly the <I>first ever</I> webcam sex session. She's still in the concrete dorm room. I have 9 images. Some are "Jennicam Gallery" images, which, I repeat, were not from any official Jennicam site gallery and are not as far as I know copyrighted or marked with the watermark of any currently-active site. I also have some from the same set that are not marked with any text.
Alex, you are as always the final authority -- if you think that the images with text on them are crossing the line, then please delete them and accept my apologies. But I don't think they are violating the letter or the spirit of the site rules as I understand them at the present time.

Round pattern wall hanging
 

At some point Jenni got a wall hanging with a round pattern on it. I think this was sometime in the 1996-1997 school year. It features as the backdrop of some of her hottest sessions. I think she is still in the concrete dorm room, though, since you can see the concrete and the furniture peeking through.
Here are some miscellaneous pix I have from that period. Personally I think some of them are very fine and show Jenni at her absolute cutest. I have some pix of "shows" from that period too, which I will post sometime soon, but this will be the last for today.

I understand, Alex... it would be a pain in the neck for you to monitor all the posts and delete all the pix with her watermark on it. Can I propose something? I have sets of three more "shows" from her concrete dorm room with the round wall hanging, from 1996-1997. This was before the pay site, before she got really famous, and at a time when she was still just getting off on stripping and masturbating for the crowd on #jennicam on IRC. I could post those and then you could close the thread.
At the end of the 1997 school year, I think she moved out of the dorm and into her own apartment, and it started to be just "oh gosh, the cam happens to be pointed at the bed and sex is part of life so you might happen to see sex occasionally".

This set is what I call the "black lingerie" set. Probably sometime in 1996-97 because she has the round wall hanging. I have no idea what she's pouring on herself but it's dark-coloured and it seems to taste good... chocolate?
I love the last pic in this set... it's like she is saying "I know what you just saw, and I like it." :)

That was the black lingerie show, this is the white lingerie show.
Again she strips and masturbates on cam, but now the twist is that she is talking on the phone while doing it. I assume that one of the guys from #jennicam has called her and is talking to her as she plays. I wonder if this lingerie is stuff that fans have sent her?

April 4, 1997 "show"
 

This is my favorite show. Not because of the little white vibrator, or the black blindfold. It's my favorite show because of the three "afterglow" pix. She is looking at her computer screen, she's reading the comments that the guys on #jennicam on IRC are making about what she just did, and she's obviously just loving what she's seeing.
The pix are from some other archive and are dated April 4, 1997. So it could have been a show celebrating her being on cam exactly one year.
I wish I had known about her at that time. I only found out about her later in 1997. By the first time I visited her site, there was a big notice up saying "There will be no more shows, so stop asking!". I guess the constant pestering by guys and the increasing media attention was making her less interested in doing the shows. Also, maybe the novelty was wearing off.
I forgot that I have three miscellaneous exhibitionist pix, probably from before her pay site, but I don't know exactly how they fit in, so I will hold off on those and not post them yet. They look like scanned photos, some possibly Polaroid. I suspect that they were taken by a fan who visited her and were never on any official site.

Hope these are OK. Two are from what seems to be a larger set of Jenni dressed up as a nurse. They are called jennurse_3.jpg and jennurse_10.jpg, so there must be at least 8 others, but I don't have any of them. They are the ones that look like scans of polaroids, and they seem to be taken in the concrete dorm room (same walls, same bedcover). The last one is perhaps a one-off of Jenni with nipple clamps on (not for the squeamish!).
