This, along with WBR is not very popular in NYC. They mostly attract the really hippy chicks which are not necessarily that young or good looking. You won't see too many young attractive college chicks at these things over here.

I think the only place in the US that actually had a large gathering where there are tons of people, including young topless chicks was in Asheville. They must have been passing out acid that day. That is how big gotopless day should be in every city.

in the pics that I've downloaded, I see lots of fine looking women, age range 20 to over 50. So I'm not going to pass up the opportunity to see this in Portland, OR where I live, but I can't get a firm time and location. Its only two days away and I'm right here, and so if anyone can help me nail down some specifics (Nakedhippie?), i'd really appreciate it. I know its Sunday, but exactly where and at what time? I'll have pics for y'all as a reward for your help!

BTW, I really enjoy this "Boobmap" provided by the gotopless website. Its really easy to just click on a city (40 listed) and the map will zoom to the exact location of the event (if it is known). So "OCC friendly" :)

sounds like it got a bit ugly. Thats a real shame. Regarding the comment by one disgusted woman, though, who yelled "they're just boobs!!" and left: - OK, you are right. They are just boobs. But you know, the reason you are being surrounded by a pack of creepy guys with cameras is because they are from that part of society that believes they are more than "just boobs". And therein lies the problem you are trying so hard to correct.

Anyway, so here we are oogling and posting pics of said boobs, which we are not suppose to think twice about seeing, since they are, after all, "just boobs". Well a lot of women are proud of their boobs and like showing them off because they know they are special. Yet others don't see what all the fuss is about.

You know, us photographers go nuts because we treat all events the same. I mean, a boob is a boob to me whether or not you think it is special or not. So how am i suppose to know which ones are OK to treat with reverence and which ones I should just ignore?

Which is not to condone nor make excuses for the hoards of photographers in NYC today. Really, it is not good for the event nor the cause..

The DC chicks were all about being photographed.

As you can see from the pics, there were a few in the parade that didn't go topless, probably due to embarrassment. One of them buttoned up her outer shirt and took off her tank top. There was visible nippleage, but I was dying for more. No such luck.
