I'm back, here's some pictures from the Bavarian Opera's facebook page (they were the sponsors).

More from the Opera, and one from the staging area. The red paint turned out to be tricky to wash off, and hotels all over the city were charging guests extra to clean red stains off the walls and carpets. The city is also concerned some of the monuments may have been damaged by water-based paint seeping into the stone.

there goes Spencer Tunick, leaving an "indelible" impression wherever he goes :)

Didn't they provide showers? That would seem a given to me. Anyway, if the monuments have been damaged I hope the Munich authorities sue the crap out Tunick.

And as much as I hate to be predictable I have to say those pictures are really stupid, even by his pathetic standards. Horrid mediocre exploitative little man he is.

You can see in the corner of the last picture there was some pressurised water available which some people were using, but not enough for 2000 people. Most people just put on the complimentary paper suits then put on their clothes and went back to their hotels. The gold paint was fine, it just dissolved into flakes when dry, but the red wouldn't come off so easily and left a lot of mess. It is supposed to be water soluble therefore easy to clean and remove. A professional cleaning company hired by the city seemed unable to get any of the paint off the lions in Odeonsplatz with their chemicals and technology, but a participant with a sponge and a bucket of water got 1/4 of one of the lions cleaned all by himself!

Of course these are not Spencer's pictures, Spencer just choreographs the positions and his "official" photographs take several months to come to light. They may be photographs by his assistants, or employees of the Opera House. The last one is all mine, I've no idea how those two naked girls got in there.

A straightforward google search brings up lots more pictures of people posing, but I can't find any more from the staging area (even though I saw dozens of cameras going from the Gold side as the Reds stripped off and painted up! Perhaps all their pictures turned out as badly as mine?).

Anyway, here's what I've found. Some pretty good quality, some tiny, sorry about that but it's what's out there. And I did find one of the "shower facilities" - mainly men I know, but Spencer had kept most of the women for himself, as usual.

Hereby more pics i found from the latest installment by Spencer Tunick. In the WNBR threads and the Freemont Solstice threads we sometimes try to make an overview of every single woman who participated in a specific single ride, but to do this today with a Spencer Tunick installment would be quite impossible. So many participants, wished such amounts also joined the WNBR, Freemont ride, the Nude Beaches were Pedro and other OCC members shoot their pics..... :o

and some pics (apologies for any slipped in repost):
I also want to mention that the few pics i posted of the blue painted people are from the woman only installment, Spencer Tunick made in München. So off course i hope to see many more pics from this special installment. May be when OCC has an anniversary we should ask him for an OCC installment with Pedro and Klondike to cover the installment for this great forum. :D

I cropped this pic posted earlier to highlight the action a bit better...

OK, the clothed guy is one of Tunick's aids. So what is he doing? Is the girl not standing exactly where he wants her to be standing and he is giving her a little help? Or is there in need of a gold paint touch up? :)

It is important that we ask these sort of questions. After all, this guy is presumably getting paid to do this sort of thing. And if I am ever going to apply for a job as one of Tunick's aids, I need to know what kinds of things I would be required to do as part of that job. Would I be able to "handle" it? What kind of training would I need? If necessary might I ever have to wrestle unruly naked people to the ground?

just asking....

Some of these photos are reminiscent of Dachau, not far away.
