Rooms with a View
 

There's always been something special about hotel room windows for me. It gives people a cover of anonymity to be a little more open, a little riskier, than they would be at home. Sometimes that amounts simply to less interest in the care people take at home not to compromise themselves, but for some the plausible deniability seems to give vent to a natural, but usually suppressed, exhibitionism.

In one of my favorite hotel room experiences, I returned to my 12th floor room around sundown and went to the window to look out over the city. The rooms at this hotel all had bay windows, and as I looked across toward the neighbor's room I saw a young lady also enjoying the view, topless and wearing only underwear. I don't think she meant particularly to give a show, she was just being careless in a way that she wouldn't at home, where the neighbors have names and lawn problems. A moment later her companion appeared and drew the side curtains. So much for my enjoying the view -- but the memory sticks with me.

I've seen the beast with two backs from across a hotel parking lot, and a few silhouettes in the sheers. I always take a look around for the best opportunities when I stay in a hotel, but rarely have both an amazing view and a camera at just the right moment. But once last year I did. I saw this young lady shortly after wakeup one morning, and followed her a bit as she watched morning TV, had breakfast, etc. (More in the next post.)

I was hoping for something new to happen but was completely surprised by how sudden and how bold the next move was. While she was changing, her partner emerged from the bathroom and enjoyed a breakfast across the room, completely nonchalant about (and strangely uninterested in) his wife/girlfriend's window display. Me, I was interested.

Unfortunately the change of clothes didn't take long, but while she waited for her boy to finish breakfast and dress I did get some better views of her face. Not the highlight, but worth sharing. There's one frame that looks like she busted me, so that's fun -- but if she did, she absolutely didn't care because she moved right along as if nothing had happened.

The following morning the curtains were just as open, but I missed the good parts due to bad timing. I did see them departing with suitcases and coats on the way to check out, and mentally wished them safe travels and another nice hotel stay on their next trip, hopefully across the breezeway from another OCC contributor.

This has been a selection of highlights but I can post the whole set, if there's interest. It includes slight variations on the main feature and a lot more post-show shots with some real easter eggs that might in their own way be even more shocking, despite being fully clothed.

Techincal: I shot these at 18mp on a typical 1.6x ccd camera, probably around 200mm since the opposite room was about 50 feet away. I cropped away the brick wall around the window to save your download time (and Alex's disk space). That, plus the general griminess of the windows, explains why it looks like I couldn't hold quite still.

What a pleasant surprise that must have been!

I recently took a business trip and didn't have any part in planning the accommodations. As luck would have it I ended up on the 25th floor with a view across the street of two hotels and one condo. I returned from dinner after dark and probably just missed a good open curtain romp. I was able to get two decent photos of a very attractive lady in her robe... It was lights out right after these were taken.

The next morning the sun glare was pretty bad but the same lady was in bed nude, then got up and briefly walked out of view. Just after she disappeared out of view something caught my eye on the floor above hers. Another very attractive lady was lotioning in front of her open windows.

On the second night both of those ladies had checked out and their rooms were empty. I did manage to see another lady who didn't seem to care that the curtains were wide open as she did her business looking right out the window. I wasn't able to get anymore good pictures before I left but did see some other action. The hotel room doors had an opening of about 3/4 - 1 inch between the bottom of the door and floor which was very shiny. I could literally see into the rooms just walking by and most of the other hotel guests were doing the same.

I used to live across the alley from a lady who routinely would go about her business with shades up and pants down. It was one of those neighborhoods where nobody has an air conditioner (or if they do, it doesn't chill enough volume for the whole apartment). In summer she'd regularly appear in any degree of dress that felt right. Her bathroom was across from my bedroom, and she'd usually do her evening regimen fully undressed, lights on, with the window open 5-6 inches -- easily enough for me to see her full range of pitch and yaw as she brushed her teeth. This went on for months each year. She had to be aware of what I could see, whether or not she knew that I looked.

Unfortunately I didn't have a camera then, but when decent digitals became available later this lady was the inspiration for getting one, and I've taken my camera on every trip. (If only I could have visited the old apartment!) Ever since I've been a sucker for the open window, and in my experience hotels provide a setting where people are much more relaxed, almost carefree about their risks. Most people aren't too inclined to flash where they live.

Fantastic.. nothing like an unexpected glimpse of your neighbour naked!

I have no photographs but two very distinct memories.

Before I left home we had neighbours across the road who would go out on a Friday or Saturday evening. When they got home which was always around the same time, the Mrs would come home and get undressed in the front (spare) room but never drew the curtains. I used to wait eagerly for the house lights to come on. She never put the bedroom light on but always undressed by the borrowed light from the landing, which was enough to illuminate her very pert breasts..

When I was studying for my finals at Uni, my bedroom where I worked looked on the the back of some flats, also occupied by students.. very attractive females, as it happened. Each evening, one of the girls would shower and then spend a little time applying moisturising cream, often by the window, where I enjoyed an almost full body view.. (full bush at that time!).. To be honest I could have done without the distraction but it was a thrill!!!

I've debated starting a thread to identify voyeur friendly hotels. There is one I stay in consistently where the rooms have a very sheer curtain that at night everybody thinks blocks the view but if you go for a walk around the property you can see perfectly in to the lit rooms. I stay there about once a month for business and I've probably seen 20 couples having sex over the years, countless women of all shapes and sizes changing or naked, gay sex, lesbian sex, even a 3 some one time.
