Personal Information

As the daughter of a small province's duke, Annalise was practically fed with the silver spoon her mouth had held at birth. That is to say that she has lived a somewhat pampered life, despite her family's admittedly-small amount of influence in Enferia's politics. With nothing but the best education in both swordplay and spellcraft, Annalise excelled in most everything she cared to try, eventually finding herself invited to attend a prestigious arcane academy at the tender age of thirteen. Her five years there were, admittedly, somewhat more challenging than she would ever care to admit, though while she is by no means a master magus, she managed to become basically proficient in enough disciplines of magic to still pass with high - but not top - marks.

Getting slightly more personal, Annalise's pampered upbringing tends to manifest itself in the way of a slight arrogant streak, though she is typically polite and friendly to those around her, and none can say she lacks confidence, what with her reliable supply of glib retorts when challenged. She is a very proud person, both on and off the battlefield, and despite usually being kind, she is not quite "warm".

Magic has made her mind and senses sharp, while swordplay has toned her body and made her more than a bit agile. However, Annalise has always had what she tends to call an "elf's body". She has always been small for her age, both in size and stature, and her athletic nature rendered excess body fat a non-issue. Because of this, Annalise could be relatively easy to pin by a particularly muscular opponent, and her thinness ensures that her breasts, hips, and bottom are all on the slightly diminutive side. This is not to say that she is not without curves - Far from it, in fact. The curves she has just happen to be a tad more slight. As previously mentioned, her figure could most easily be compared to that of an elven maiden.

Christie practices a dynamic style of sorcery including but not limited to elemental magic, summoning, spatial magic (teleporting and the like) and transmutation. Every now and then she's known to get 'into the fray' with her claws and tear up some clothing.

Personal Information

As stated before, Christie is normally known for her stripping misadventures and her penchant for humiliating foes in the arena. Ordinarily, her mood swings wildly, ranging from mischievous and playful to sadistic and haughty. She often toys with her prey before finishing it off. That said, she was not without a sense of honor and respect for challenging opponents, and she certainly carries a sense of twisted justice.

On one of her recent adventures, Christie has lost a good portion of her memory and consequently her power. Until she comes into her own Christie is likely to be a bit meek and shy -- the curvy, taut body she boasted before is more of an object of self consciousness now, and the shameless, tattered gown she can't seem to get rid of seems like all the more the curse it is...

Looking good! Wildfang and BigMara, though, your characters don't seem to have any Special Moves listed... Might want to fix that? Merry Moonlight should possess 2 Special Moves (both from Magic), and I believe Annalise should possess three.

Ah, whoops. Hers should be Signature Weapon, Telekinetic Scissors, and Energy Drain.

Murplefleem, the energy total doesn't quite check out there. She's wearing 10 points total worth of clothing, so she should have 10 Energy left. Also, you get to pick a free Signature Move in either Body or Cunning - you should have 3 total!

why is there such a long delay between posting and the post showing up?

I think it's due to spam prevention. New members have to wait a while, to prevent people from just showing up and covering the place in text.

To keep the story thread active when players aren't around i'm considering adding 'reaction' posts between our character's actions, if no one thinks it'll get to confusing. The amount of time written about would be pretty limited, just a brief bit of description or maybe some trash talking dialogue. Thoughts?

I was just going to do that during my normal posts, but that sounds fine too.

cerindclvr, that sounds like an excellent idea! I would not mind little quips and descriptions from players even when it isn't their turn. As a GM, I can't do all that much except describe the outcome of your actions, so most of the descriptive text is going to come from the pens (well, keyboards) of the players. A little extra dialogue or description certainly can't hurt!

On an unrelated note: I've been looking around for some other place to perhaps host the game in the future. Unfortunately, all the "create a free forum" places I've found thus far have ToS prohibiting "lewd or pornographic material" which I suppose this game would qualify as (or? I'm not certain about the definitions). Anyone know of a good site?

Alison is a young woman who works with a traveling circus, putting on an act built around dangerous sword tricks and duels for the people's enjoyment. She is brash, loud and knows how to put a great show.

I like the character, and the picture is surprisingly appealing... How does everyone feel about dragon born? It's a bit animal like but I'm starting to think there may br a place for anthros in the game...

Definitely not my thing, but it's ultimately up to the majority. I won't vote one way or another on that.

rather than be passive aggressive about it, i'll just say that we ought to up the pace in the game thread! There are plenty of people who didn't get in the first round who no doubt want to join and would be enthusiastic about it... like alphalurker here, I guess

Are people still having the issue that it takes time between them posting and the post appearing?

It's actually stopped happening to me, so hopefully the others haven't been having trouble with that now. And yeah, speeding the pace up somewhat would be good. I'm pretty sure the other team has been busy, though, which is totally understandable.

Cerindclvr: I'm really glad you like my character, seeing as your the setting's creator that means a lot.
I was going to color the picture but it was so much work just to get this far I'm exhausted.

as for playing in the game, there seems to be a lot of interest. I'm not a very good writer and since my character is controversial, maybe it best I just sit this out. I don't mind passing up my turn in favour of someone else.

If you have the patience, once this playtest fight is over some adventure or arena tournament or something might start up, and there'll be a slot for you. Not much of an anthro fan myself, but I've got no problem with it - and again, cerindclvr created the setting, so he's final authority on everything fluff-wise as far as I'm concerned. I just made the system.

Rayne prefers to avoid open conflict, liking her battles won before they've even started. Relying on subtlety and quick attack tactics, Rayne's combat doctrine wouldn't last long against a focused opponent of superior physical strength (which means just about anybody).

Physical Description:
Halia is a sprightly, petite, adorable half elf, who seems to have an exhibitionist streak in mixed into her already erratic, overly playful behavior. She dresses in a short, impractical light green tunic, at least when she's in the arena, with the length making it effectively a short, belted skirt. Her light red hair is done up in pigtails, and she always has an infectious bright smile on her face. Her slightly pointed elven ears are displayed proudly.
While her sparkling green eyes ooze whimsy and innocence, she seems to enjoy showing off her rear by bending at the waist a little too often, or arching her back to make her modest bust seem bigger, or paying attention to the viewing sphere to give the audience little peeks down her blouse in search of their approval. She doesn't really boast the 'assets' of some arena fighters. She's no curvy bombshell. She is an adorable little half elf though, with pert little breasts and a tight little butt.

Personal Information:
Perhaps the exhibitionist streak in Halia comes from a bit of insecurity. Not much is known about her background besides that she came from poverty. As a half breed she no doubt was the subject of some prejudice, growing up on the streets of Enferia's capital city.
The short version of her story, as it came to be known, is that she was picking pockets to survive when one day she stole a book of magic from a doddering old wizard. Amazingly, she was able to teach herself some simple magic tricks that would make her job as a thief that much easier. She continued life in this way for some while, until, fatefully, just before nearing the prime of her magical thieving career, she was set up and caught by the secret squad of the Queen's enforcers.
Halia now tries to make the best of it as a well-treated prisoner of Enferia's arena. It wasn't hard for her friendly, whimsical, bubbly personality to ingratiate her to the other prisoners, and after a while she found the scenery wasn't so bad. She doesn't wholly like being stripped or humiliated, none of the girls really do, but it DOES give her some thrill. She's found that she's excited by fighting in the arena, and she doesn't have to worry about starving to death. In the arena, she's popular because she can win -- not because of race or breast size. Despite her outward appearance as bright eyed and youthful, she is a somewhat sexual creature and also fancies stripping the competing girls... or, if things are going to boringly, her own teammates!

Her butt is firm, sporting dimples on the side, and hidden in baggy brown trousers held up by a pair of straps that sit over her shoulders, and a thin leather belt. Her skin is smooth and soft but boasts a hint of a tan.
Despite her otherwise firm appearance, Ashley still bears an innocent, childlike face with wide, bright blue eyes and full, pouty lips. By no means does she the girl bear the face of a warrior. While her hard little hands may bear a few scars and worked callouses, her face has all the softness of a princess. When sweat forms on it, it looks picturesque. When it gets smeared with a little bit of soot, it looks as if someone strategically, purposefully put it there to accent her girliness. When her short, dark bangs cling to her forehead, it looks like she's in a photo shoot.

Personal Information:
Raised by her grandfather, a poor blacksmith in the corrupt land of Enferia, Ashley has had to pull a lot of weight for her now sick father figure around the forge. She doesn't mind -- he taught her everything she knows from smithing to magic to swordplay. What she does mind is the way in which the corruption has landed her sweet grandfather into debt at the height of his sickness.
Reluctant to pay off the sharks that have her family in a choke hold, but resolute in saving her grandfather, Ashley found in her desperation an amazing talent for arena fighting. She'd have preferred to fight glorious battles with real bloodshed to the humiliations of the Enferia style combat, but she had no choice in truth. The fact that she'd make more money while having no chance of injury made it impossible to do anything else. Regular gladiators get hurt all the time, and can't go on making money for their sick family members, after all!
Ashley tries to make the best of it -- she's been very successful in the arena, and keeps an optimistic, confident, addictive personality about her. She never gives up hope in earning the money to save the forge and find a cure for her grandfather's illness. The nickname "Iron Ash" came about when she illustrated a healthy understanding of the combination of swordplay and magic, along with a knack for transmuting and manipulating metals. The girl can be stern or playful, but is usually professional and tries to treat the arena like a normal gladiator would. That said, she's beginning to grow some fangs. For every entitled noble or indulgent, overly wealthy gladiator she humiliates, she begins to enjoy her new line of work a little bit more...

This is very sad -- so close to the end, too! Anyone heard from Meepo?

I haven't heard anything from him either, but what say we start up some new matches to try and keep this going? We could even throw in some new characters if people want to.

Wouldn't be against putting some news matches or something into motion, though a new DM (if only temporary, pending Meepo's return) would be needed. The match in progress could be put on hiatus, to finish up once everyone involved has returned.
