I have a bunch of these that I posted on another forum. I can put them up here. Mine will not be a repost as I have adjusted and enhanced every photo, plus I did not find them on this forum.
These gowns are referred to Klied der O (dress of the O). I call them 'Easy Access' gowns. . . . enjoy ;) I have 7 posts of these coming up (for this thread) from what I already put to that other forum. If you like them, I have many more. |

Okay . . . 5 more posts/sets to come . . then we'll see ;) |
Oddly I was watching Frasier and saw a waitress with this type of outfit only (sadly) with a blouse on and thought that would be a great outfit minus the blouse. I googled a bit and it brought me right to good old occ for this thread. Thanks a lot and please keep posting.
Also if you know of a restaurant where the waitresses dress this way let me know. I bet they would get some serious tips! :D |

Most Interesting
I've been to several such festivals but I must say I've never seen such "intentional" exposure in costumes. Very Interesting!

As states and provinces gradually are adding topfree rights for women, I'm hoping that somewhere along the line breasts start appearing in fashion that actually hits the streets of America. I'm told that on the catwalks and in France on the streets there is some toplessness or at least sheer blouses.
There is still a strong social taboo surrounding what women can show here, but this seems to be breaking down with beachwear like revealing bikinis and even thongs. It seems like showing bottom cheeks isn't nearly the taboo it once was. Older women also seem more comfortable in fairly revealing tops and tight, short shorts in a way that they weren't when I was young and hopefully they are passing that along to their daughters (after they turn 18 of course! :p). You would think that breasts popping out might be the next logical step. They are a certainly a safe way for women to show off since the 'goodies' are still safely covered by a dress and underwear. Sorry for the diatribe, just dreaming of seeing women in these types of dresses walking through shopping malls. |
Hi,
thank you very much for the great pics! Best Regards BarneyG |

You know, I think that in the Middle Ages, there actually were some dresses like these. It seems the rich folk didn't feel obligated to follow the taboos of the little people... I was hoping we'd see some of those. These are great pictures; I just enjoy tracking down historical nudity. Sorry, I have no photos to offer myself... Thanks for these.

Yes, you're right,
The dresses are also required to be accessable from below the waist, and so slit waist to floor front and back... A good read |
Dress style
Check out the 1970's movie "Story of O". This style of dress is featured and explained in the movie and these dresses might be based on that movie.

Wondered about these....
I have written here in non-fiction about my "Nudist Neighbor" and how she wears either nothing or odd revealing "swimsuits" on her property and occasionally visited me when I lived next door to her large acreage on a river north of me.
She has told me often about parties she goes to in NY over the winter months and women must wear exotic outfits. I have seen photos of her at some of these events in bondage gear, lots of black lace and stockings and also in elegent expensive dresses like these that leave her breasts and pubic area completely exposed. She told me that her dresses had a slit all the way up the back from the bottom to the waist so men can feel her backsides at these events. Your photos here are the first I have seen other than those she has let me see. You can see all of her there is to see in my "nudist neighbor" thread, and I will request and see if she will share some of her photos in these dresses to add to this thread. Thank you! |
Similar dresses were worn in Ancient Crete.

Story of O Fashions
Those long bare-breasted gowns with slit skirts are from an outfit in Germany that makes and sells garments, jewelry, and fetish gear like that described in the book Story of O by Pauline Reage. They have a German language web site I'm not allowed to post the URL of, but you can find it if you google O Erotik Shop. There are pictures posted on this thread that aren't on their website and vice-versa.

Here is a still from Just Jaeckin's film Story of O with actresses in the bare-breasted slit-skirt gowns that are worn in the chateau at Roissy where O is trained in the early part of the movie.

...actually, it seems that exposing the breasts was quite common in fashion until the Victorian period, it seems that Queen Mary (of William and Mary fame) wore such garments quite a bit, as did Queen Elizabeth I (who, it seems, met Shakespeare with her dress open) - we see anachronistic remnants of this fashion in the dresses worn by girls in Bavaria, but with a 'modesty panel' added that covers the breasts. It seems that during the 16th and 17th centuries it was considered far more 'sexy' to show the ankles and shoulders than the breasts - pretty cool fashion statements in my opinion. I've attached some paintings showing a few ladies from the period; one is Henrietta Maria after whom the US state of Maryland is named. Not quite as enticing as those photos already added to this thread, but unfortunately, there were no cameras during this more 'enlightened' period.
