"semi-pro" studio, lighting and/or backdrops
 

Who here likes to see total amateurs in what are CLEARLY "semi-pro" or "improvised studio" environments.

Especially "amateur attempts" to simulate what a studio background looks like -- but then also with clearly amateur photography (but with lighting that at least attempts to go the extra mile).

Here's a good example to get us started...

A topic I've always loved -- everyday women, naked for semi-pro photo-shoots. Hard to find or search specifically for examples of these, but always great when you stumble on them, usually by accident. Any more?

Some of the posts look like pro models to me.

Here are some from SVM on flickr. His wife is a real hot one and he is a pretty good photog as well. Good combination!
