:) Is this the one where part of the program was broadcast live and just happened to contain the brief but classic TV ENF I've posted a cap of below?

If so please do share the video as many people here would love to see it. :)

What makes it worse is that I remember the program being broadcast on the BBC but I didn't watch it because I find Tunick himself to be a pretentious and talentless tw*t.

Pretentious, yes, but he does have a unique talent for persuading people to get naked and allow themselves to be photographed. If it was that easy we would all be doing it!

He probably holds the all-time world record for the amount of nudity one individual has directly caused, you have to respect that.

Yes, jc666, it's the same one. On the day of broadcast, there were 2 installations. The first 45 minutes of the show was taken up with a video of the morning's installation, and then the final 15 minutes were a live video of the evening installation, which is where your cap came from.

Always had a soft spot for Tunick myself. Sometimes the pictures can be kind of haunting. I especially find that with the Melbourne pictures from 2001.

It's the video from the shots by petepp66 I would love to see, I wonder if it is from the 'mythical' movie taken by a council CCTV operator, who then flooged it in local pubs! He lost his job, but the movie never surfaced on the internet, as far as I know. They are not from the BBC3 programme that the others are from.

They don't look like CCTV shots. From the closeness to the action, I'm almost certain they are from the Tunick team's own video documenting of the event - which was shown at the exhibition on an ordinary TV screen, but never offered for sale to participants or the public, and didn't form any part of the BBC broadcast. A small clip of this did show up on OCC courtesy of Pedro but if those are caps from the same video, it's a better quality version and it's not from the section in the clip. I'm watching for petepp66's response with interest!

This is the lady who worked for the Council and gathered full support for that event. She can be seen nude with two other local Councillors in the photo above.
She may or may not be drop dead gorgeous, but she's the one to thank.

I can remember it being filmed on a summers sunday morning. I just happened to be going to work and got to see some delightfull sights :)

Hi all just an update on my recollections of this. I have the recorded programme still on VHS video but have not seen it for years as my only remaining video player in the loft! The programme was indeed onBBC3 had an initial documentary on various participants that you got the chance to see naked or partially so later during the event. There was then a batch of extended pieces from 3 sites around Newcastle with lots of great close up nudity from the quayside the Gateshead arts place and then the millennium bridge shots which were live and preceded by brief shots of participants stripping off. The live shots on the bridge included a great close up of two women suddenly realising they were nude and live on national TV it’s an absolute classic you literally see them blush as it sinks in.

I'm interested as well. Would appreciate if it was shared more openly here in this thread.

Is this screenshot from the first page anywhere in the gofile vid? I couldn't find it. I'm pretty sure it's the same Newcastle shoot, as at least one of the girls pictured appears (fleetingly) in the video we do have. So if not, that suggests there's yet another video out there.

Just so that more people are aware, both Tunick documentaries Naked World and Naked States were shared in another thread as recently as last month (can't find it right now).
