I was just thinking recently of the great ENF scenes from the Archie comics I read in the 1970s. This page reminds me of one where Veronica buys a portable cabana so she can change right on the beach, and ends up wearing just the cabana. She must have been changing for some sort of photo shoot because there's a photographer at the end saying he's got his next cover photo as Ronnie is mortified.

There was also a story (this one may have been Josie and the Pussycats) where several young women are getting ready to do some swimsuit modeling at the beach for a commercial or something. The bad girl decides the good girl's bikini is cuter and switches hers for it. With the cuter bikini she is a big hit, until they all go into the water. The bad girl decides to stay in the water instead of leaving with everyone else. The good girl knew her suit would shrink to nothing if exposed to water, leaving bad girl basically naked.

Those two scenes, plus Betty Cooper getting tied up by the kids she's baby-sitting, are my most enduring comic-book memories.

Dan DeCarlo, the cartoonist, also did cartoons for Playboy and other "adult" publications. So, he liked to get Betty and Veronica naked.

I've got one of the old comics where the girls lost half of thier costumes for their rock band and still did the concert not wearing anything beneth their coats.

Posting what I've got on this topic. I also remember three comics from when I was a young teen, which would have been the early 70s.

My favorite was when Betty baby-sat some rotten kids and ended up hogtied. it was pretty exciting even before the babysitting job started because there were two frames of Betty in the shower thinking to herself while she was getting ready - steam covering everything in the first frame and then a silhouette as I recall in the second. As soon as the parent left the kids had Betty running around after them. At one point they had balanced a full fishbowl on top of a broom with the fishbowl held against the ceiling -- they handed her the broom and she was stuck in place. Then the scene cut to the parents calling in, and the episode ends with Betty hogtied on the floor and yelling for help into the phone. No nudity but I remember that one of her shoes was off and her bare foot was exposed - I was always exciting by the idea that the kids had maybe been tickling her foot.

The second one involved Veronica and her personal pop-up cabana at the beach - that way she could wear stylish clothes and change right on the beach. There was a photographer there doing a story on the rich girl or something. But V had a problem changing in the small unstable cabana, and by the end she was basically wearing the cabana and nothing else, screaming at the photographer to stop taking pictures. There wasn't much skin exposure but I was left with the idea that she might have been embarrassed about more than just a faulty cabana.

The last one might have been Josie and the Pussycats. There were about five girls getting ready to model swimsuits at the beach for a professional photo shoot, where one of them might end up on the cover. There was a bad girl (research tells me this would be Alexandra Cabot) who likes Josie's suit better and switches before they get changed for the beach. At the end of the shoot the photographer tells them to go into the water, and Alexandra decides not to come back out - they can leave without her, she's going to stay a while. Of course Josie's suit was a material that shrank down to nothing when it got wet, so Alexandra is presumably left naked.

I imagine that the ENF category includes catfights where clothes get ripped off. I've got some nice B & V nudes that aren't ENF, but I guess those don't belong on this thread.

Don't have the normal Archie in Europe ....

From what I've looked up online, the Josie and the Pussycats issue you're thinking of is probably 105. Maybe. There isn't a ton of information for this series online.

Thanks, it's not that one. I know because there happens to be a Youtube video showing the full issue page by page, even ads. it turns out that someone has been putting up videos like this of a lot of Archie universe comics.

For instance, the video below (replace xxs with tts) has a great scene (which I recall seeing before, maybe on OCC) of Veronic losing her top and depending on Betty to give her something to wear.

I also grew up in the 70/80's and read tons of comics

but I was wondering why, only in like 2, 3 out of 50 or so, theres never any hair

is that on purpose? or is it that these drawings are more recent

anyway, its been real nice to look at them

I found these mostly SFW strips on a Facebook group. Betty apparently finds Archie unconscious in the locker room and strips him off to take his place on the football field
