Upskirts on Balconies
 

Let's try something different in upskirts here. A quick search gave me one thread about downblouses from balconies but this one will be about upskirts of women on balconies taken from the street or lower floor.

I'll start out with some I took myself at various Fantasy Fests. These are difficult shots. It's dark outside and doubly dark under skirts so you normally don't know exactly what you have until you chimp it or look on a big screen later. And all of those railings and railing supports make focusing a real shot in the dark. Most of these were taken with the camera held horizontally because Canons focus around the balconies better than way. Some were taken with my 28-70 street shooting lens and some were taken with my balcony special 200 mm. Both are f2.8 because you need all the help you can get from the camera to focus.

I didn't crop because it's kinda interesting to see what's going on around the targets. They're all nearly full size so you can zoom on the good parts. More to came from New Orleans and not just from Mardi Gras.

More FF balcony upskirts. All of these were taken at f8 and 1/125 as it gives a good balance between depth of field and stopping action.

"It Ain't Just Mardi Gras" is the title of a long series of flashing and upskirt vids by the now long-retired 5-i's. And it's very true, back in the early 2000's when I was regularly shooting there, any Friday or Saturday night between May and October was pretty much guaranteed to produce all the bare boobs and pussies you wanted. Plus plenty of balcony upskirts. Most of the action, and these pics, happened on the 700 block of Bourbon where there were two clubs with balconies side by side. Katrina changed everything but it was great while it lasted.

All of these shots were taken with my 200 mm f2.8 balcony lens. This means that it was impossible to get full full body shots but it was great for the upskirt close-ups.

Here are some more balcony upskirt shots from New Orleans. These are the best of what I shot. For most of these women I shot anywhere between two and a dozen frames just hoping the focus would be in the right place through the balcony and the clothes. The upshorts shots are especially difficult as I was shooting at what I thought should be there and didn't know what I got until afterwards.

This thread brings back memories! I did some pics like this of my wife in pre-digital days - sadly they have been lost somewhere along the way.

I was a member there for several years up until the end under a different name. Even went out with him a couple of times to shoot Night Crawling footage. Back when the park along the river next to the Aquarium was literally crawling with people having late night sex. 5-i's looked like a homeless guy, which is probably why he blended so well and no one noticed the camcorder in his hand. He was also one of the very first people to do "bagcam" type upskirt vids in the mid to late '90s. He called them Dog's Eye View or something like that. But it wasn't a literal bag for the cam and I pushed him hard one slow night to tell me how he did them but he refused to give up the secrets. Pretty much all of his vids have been transferred to DVD and are available on cocco's.

Let's go back to the analog era for a post or two. These were shot in the early 2000's with Minolta hardware on, I believe Kodak Portra 160. Obviously back before everyone wore thongs. The negatives were scanned on a Nikon 4,000 dpi scanner. Pretty decent for analog but certainly not as nice as digital. I spent a shitload on film back in those days. Used to buy short dated stuff from B&H to save a bit.

This is what occasionally happens when you literally shoot in the dark. I could see the legs and the skirt but it was too dark to see the pantyhose. Now you can just chimp the pic right away and see the fucking pantyhose. Back then, I knew I nailed the focus but didn't get to see what I got until I got home and got the negs processed the next week. What a waste of film but nicely focused and exposed.

These were from a swingers group hotel takeover weekend event in pre-Katrina New Orleans. The hotel was the one in the first block of Bourbon off Canal. They were taken on Saturday night, during their big party so everyone is dressed or undressed to the max. This is a very high balcony, you can see that I'm getting fully bodies in the frame with a 200 mm lens, and these women had no idea that I could shoot up their skirts like this from so far away. And yes, they all have some years on them, but there seems to be some interest in mature women here.

Some more from the swingers party in New Orleans. What this woman is wearing would not be classified as a skirt outside a swingers party but, what the hell, they're fun pics. I really don't know what's going on with the woman in the black dress and the bunch of cherries panties over fishnet hose. Perhaps protection from guys like me or from roaming hands at the party.

Okay, like I said, back to some of the younger women on Bourbon Street balconies.

These first ones are all upshorts shots. There's something about female physiology and standing upshorts geometry that makes many of them more revealing than standing upskirt shots.

These next three are one very hairy woman. There's an exhibitionist component to these shots but she had no idea that I was capturing all of her well-lit hirsute details.

There would always be at least one bachelorette party screeching around Bourbon every weekend night. I took these shots late, like about 2:00 am after this bride-to-be and her friends had been running around drinking for hours. A quick note on quality. A couple of you have mentioned the high quality of these pictures. My point is that glass is more important than pixel count when it comes to quality. Most of these digital shots were taken with an original Canon 1D with about 4.25 million pixels. Nothing by today's standards. But they were all taken through a Canon "L" series pro lens. Moral of story: put your money in glass, not in pixel counts. Good glass will improve quality more than a few million more pixels.

The first two frames here are the first I took of this woman. The shots in this post are very good but it'll get much, much better.
