Roskilde Nøgenløb 2011
This just happened. And through the magic of the internet, we already have the first "raw" more or less unedited video. I'm sure better footage and hi-res photos will show up over the next day or so.
Following the trend of recent naked events, the weather looks to have been rather cold. While that won't cut down the number of runners (it's always 15 men and 15 women), there might be less naked partying afterward. Lisa wouldn't give her last name to the reporters......strange, go nude in front of thousands but won't have anyone knowing her last name, those that matter would recognise her anyway, surely?

I can vouch for the fact that in the case of Roskilde, more often than not they were real names. I think a lot of that has to do with European--and more specifically Scandinavian--attitudes toward nudity. I don't think having appeared naked on the internet is seen as career-threatening in Norway as it is in the U.S. Still, as you point out it looks like discretion has become the new normal in the last couple years. |
