BBC Female Camera Crew Member "Initiated" by Natives in Jungle
 

Just saw this and couldn't quite believe what I was watching. I'm not a regular here at this forum but have enjoyed your posts before and though some of you guys might like this.

The BBC are doing a series on native peoples living in extreeme environments and sent a camera crew into film a tribe who live in tree houses. The last part of the program is a sort of "Making Of" section where all the unofficial fottage taken during the expedition is put together to show the behind the scenes story. The team seems to have comprised a senior producer, a male camera man and a relatively junior female memeber of staff. During a period of heavy rain the team have to enter the natives comunual house. All the native women are naked except for a grass skirt, which is normal for their culture. The team have to respect their guests culture so the woman has to go and sit at the female end of the Hut, while the men speak with the male natives at the other end.

The women (and Children) are obviously bemused by the English girls clothes and, presumeably wanting to welcome her, decide to get her into native costume. (This look very much like an initiation to me.) She is prety much helpless to object as they unbutton her blouse and begin to undress her. Even better the 2 male memebrs of the team obviously decide it is well worth filming.

Its not clear to me if she realized that this would be broadcasted or not. What has been broadcasted has been very carefully eddited, but I bet the camerman had much better footage that hasn't been shown.

She genuinely looks suprised and awkward as she is being undressed, before trying to laugh it off. I think the look she give the guy filming her at the end tells you it wasn'nt planned though.

Carefully editied by the BBC to keep it broadcastable. From what is seen you can see she has been completely stripped and is trying to put a brave face on it, she knows she is being filmed after all. I love the forced smile towards the end. Cant work out if it was to try not to offend the natives or for the benfit of her male colleuges who decieded to keep on filming.

The BBC wouldn't allow any of the other footage the camerman presumeably had to be broadcast, but its clear from what has been shown that she was striped naked apart form a grass skirt and a necklace.

She is called Racheal. As far as I'm aware shes never been on TV before and was suposed to be behind the camera, not in fornt of it.

Well done to the native women and children for stripping her naked.

Simply Awesome!! I have always love documentaries like this and especially when they combine an embarrassed female clashing with a different culture.

I'm sure that we will see more videos of this womens "adventure" once the cameraman decides that his unbroadcast filming is worth more money than his job. I'll be watching for it to show up somewher. If the women was smart, she's promote it also.

I haven't seen the video because its not availible in the US, but looking at one of the caps, it looks like they allowed her to keep on her shorts / skirt.

This scene is a dream come true. You go to work one day, just doing your job, and you want to see your co-worker naked . . . their dream came true!!

No 'secret' video has emerged sadly, I'd be surprised anyway. Filming a wildlife documentary for 3 years is a bit different than filming Big Brother say, and looking at her history, she has a first class degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from Cambridge, so is unlikely to be appearing in Zoo or Nuts anytime soon!

I'm puzzled by this idea that the BBC edited this for airing. I have seen BBC shows of a documentary nature and there was nudity shown. Made me think they were a bit more open to it than we are here in the states. Why not this show?

I'm presuming it was shown on a channel and at a time when it was presumed kid's could be watching? Or failing that maybe the woman in question asked the producer's to preserve her modesty.

For those of us state bound who want to view this, the entire episode of People of the Trees is available on any decent peer to peer setup, such as emule. That's how I found it. I ended watching the whole show, very good! I could share the clip if someone PMs me on how to do so.

Thanks for the link! I made some GIFs from the above clip, but I'm reluctant to post some of them because, BBC and YouTube aside, that appears to me to be a young boy that is unbuttoning and removing her blouse, and maybe a young teen boy who is fondling her naked breasts out of frame, although it could be a girl.

When I was a kid, I went to the theater and saw the movie Hatari starring John Wayne. The leading lady is "honored" by the natives by taking her away and returning her covered in mud and wearing native garb. She cried to the laughing Duke that she "had to undress in front of men." This comment aroused me and ignited some fantasies, and so I find this video of a real white woman forced to undress and be groped by natives pretty hot.

I'm positive there were recently new unseen photos of this reporter in this thread. Were they removed?

Yeah I remember it too, not sure what happened there. This entire thread was gone for a day, and when it came back a lot of posts were gone.

The person doing the posting was a troll, and was not actually posting pictures of the reporter. The posts were removed and the poster has been dealt with.
