Req: Nude Gymnastics Stuff
 

Ok, I've spent a number of hours looking through search results to find what I'm looking for but I have had no luck. So I resort to a request thread. I have searched using a few different word combinations to find what I'm looking for but, again, nothing.

A few years ago I ran across a picture of a buck naked, female gymnast on the pommel horse. If you know what a pommel horse is you'll know what kind of views you get when the athlete is doing their thing. This particular picture was of her holding herself up on both arms with her legs completely spread eagle. It is a great picture.

I'm trying to locate that picture or others like it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe there have been nude olympic events in Australia in the past and I've seen a few pictures from that but I have not been able to find this picture again. Hell, I suppose it could have been a fake but I'm usually pretty good about detecting them so I think it was real.

Dunno about the pommel horse - not a women's gymnastics apparatus. Pommel horse is all about upper body strength.

Funny, I did a quick search and found this pic below (very small). The caption I think mistakenly refers to this as a pommel horse. The pommel horse is, as DRDavenport mentioned, a men's apparatus. I think the apparatus pictured here is called a vault -

I realize that the pommel horse is usually a men's apparatus but it was a pommel horse that this woman was on in the picture. Thanks for looking at least.

The photo you mentioned is a fake, which has been posted here multiple times already and removed. It was pointed out by another member that the person in the photo is Shannon Miller.

Thanks for the info Slick! I saw that picture so many years ago when the file sizes were still small enough to hide good fake work. The link you have does not work for me so I can't confirm if that's the one I was talking about. One member sent me a link to the picture out on another site and it was the exact one I was talking about. I will refrain from posting it just in case it is the one you say was a fake. He did say that his post was removed so it very well could be.

I have read in the past that Australia has had nude olympics. I wonder if there are any pictures of that out there. I will start searching again. Thanks for all the help!

In 2002 there was a book of photos and a couple of DVDs released featuring Romanian Olympic gymnasts Lavinia Miloşovici, Corina Ungureanu and Claudia Presecan performing gymnastic routines in the nude. The photo collection was called LCC Gold and the videos were called Gold Bird and Euro Angels. As I recall most of the nude performances were floor exercises or rhythmic gymnastics routines though there were some routines on the apparatus. This may be the source of your recollection. Since those are professionally produced images and videos they are not appropriate to this forum but can be found readily on the internet.

The pommel horse has the handles used to maneuver around the device. The vaulting horse is the same but without the handles and used just as a device to do as it name states - vault - a person.

So, YOU have now what you wanted, and everyone else is going to wonder what this was all about?
