Jamaica Nude Beaches
 

Does anyone have any photos or info about nude beaches in Jamaica; particularly, in Ochos Rios or Negril. Any news about resorts, such as Couples, would be appreciated. The photos are from Couples Tower Isle.

Here's some more from Couples Tower isle., one of the greatest nude places to go. It is not anything like Hedo, but a great place to socialize and party.

Tower Isle is great - nude area is small
 

Wife and I went to Couples Tower Isle last November. I didn't think I'd get her to the nude area (small separate island only accessible by boat) but she surpised me and we went over. The little island fills up quick but since we went shortly after lunch we managed to beat some of the peole who had been there in the morning back and claimed our spot. You can be as social as you want to keep to yourself - everyone was pretty laid-back.

Tower Isle was fun. I got the impression that half the people there were "regulars" (as in regular guests) and the other half were new to the experience. I think that balance made it very comfortable and elightening.

Any public play there?

Agreed, no public play whatsoever - if you want to understand anything about nudists, understand one thing: their attitude is that nudity does not equal sex and there is a kind of social camapaign amongst nudists to de-sexualize (and de-objectify) the naked human form. They really do just prefer to be nude and to them it's no different than when you or I hanging around in our favorite pair of jeans and t-shirt on a lazy afternoon.

Now, if you like the "lifestyle" scene there are plenty of places, like Hedonism, that you can engage in those activities too - just don't get the two confused: most nudists are not swingers (I imagine that the converse may also be true).

There are plenty of Nude Resorts through out the Caribbean. We vacationed at a couple Jamacian resorts with nude beaches (Breezes Rio Bueno, as it is called now, was nicest), but wanted something sexier. Hedo in Jamacia and Desire in Mexico are the most popular.

Hedo III closed back in October 2010. This was a great place, we went twice and we were planning a third trip. We met some great people, had plenty of fun watching and being watched and even played a little. There was always some kind of public sex in the evenings at the hot tubs, but displays of public affection could start at the nude pool and beach in the afternoon depending on the crowd. Then again we did it one morning on a beach chaise at about 10:00am, it was such a turn on being watched by everyone on the small nude beach. We could tell we got some couples excited, but no one joined us that early. You could be as mild or wild as you wanted there, and as you can see the ceiling mirror was fun too.

We are going to Hedo II for our first time in May, hope to have as much fun as we did at Hedo III.

We also went to Desire in Cancun, definitely much more swinger lifestyle oreinted, we were approached, but never pressured. We really prefered Desire over Hedo, but with all the troubles in Mexico we have decided to return to Hedo.

There is also Caliente in Tampa and Dominican Republic, we have never been due to some very mixed reviews or what these places are, Nudist or Swinger. Also the Dominican Republic was just too close to Haiti for us.

There is a new Nudist Resort in Jamacia getting some attention. N Resort, we thought about it for this years trip, but reviews were that is was a little laid back and very quiet at night, we like a little party.

This one is great. Opening with each new posting is like being on a game show or something. Only instead of a prize, I'm hoping to see a pic of one of the several ladies I know who go to Jamaica for vacations. So far, no luck. But there is always hope.

P.S. I figured out what Marina Austin was. That's an obscure 1970's reference here in the USA. They probably sold, what, a dozen or so?

I don't recognise the location of the first photo. The second is, apparently, a dare picture from a non-nude resort.

Couples Negril
 

Here's pictures from the nude beach at Couples Negril. Some of these were taken in the early morning or end of the day when no one else was there. It was usually pretty busy there. Definitely not as private as Tower Island and, in my opinion, not as social as Tower island.

There seems to be a lot of mooning at Tower Isle or, at least, there are many photos of it.

We used to go to Grand Lido Negril. They had opened Couples the last year we were at Grand Lido (10yrs or more ago). The nude section at Couples was a small, fenced off area, with little shade and no facilities. At Grand Lido, we had a whole nude section with bar, pool, hot tub & shady beach.
Looks like they improved the nude section at Couples since then.

The resort provides a catamaran booze cruise a few days per week. It became a tradition for the nudies on the island to line up with towels on the side facing away from the resort and then moon the guests on the catamaran as it passed. Of course, the guests on the catamaran came prepared with cameras! :D

I disagree. What you are describing is old fashioned 1950's nudism. Most modern people that enjoy nude recreation are far more open minded than the nudists of the past, not that they are necessary swingers, some are and some are not, it is just that they are not hung up with "de-sexualizing" and "de-objectifying" the naked human form. Are there still old fashion traditional nudists? The answer is yes, however they are a dying breed and are literally dying off as are traditional nudist camps. In today's world, people are openly practicing public nudity on nude beaches such as Haulover in Miami and are traveling to nude vacation resorts and beaches in the Caribbean.

Not all nudists are swingers however I can assure you that close to 100% of swingers are nudists. :)

There is a definite difference in how americans and europeans view nudity. Topless woman are much more the norm in continental europe than the US. Nudity is more sexualized in the states.

Looking into Jamaica for vacation . can't decide between Tower Ilse or Negril. Anyone with newer pictures? Please share your experiences especially if it was your first experience with public nudity as it will be for us. Tia

My wife and I went to the tower island a few years ago in Jamaica at couples resort... the first thing the row-boat dude told us was that there were two rules on "the naked island"

1. No cameras
2. No clothes

How is it you got pictures?

I have been to Jam 5 times. All of the nude beaches/nude resorts have signs that say no cameras. That's why most on here are obviously hidden or sneaky pics. The speed limit says 70 , do we always do 70 ?

I realize this is an old post but we recently returned from Couples San Souci. They have a nude section with pool, bar, "buffet" area, and of course the beach. Everything at CSS was first rate and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Ya Mon!

Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica Nude Beach
 

Gran Bahia Runaway Bay Jamaica has a nice private nude beach at the very end of the resort. Nude area is sectioned off by a large fence. Beach area is rocky and sandals/water shoes are needed to enter the water. People do come over to the gate to peak in on the nude people, but it's harmless. Some even snorkeled naked off the beach. Age range 20-70 and mostly couples (40-60) Overall great experience and one of our favorite resorts in Jamaica.
