I'm hoping someone here can recognize & help me rediscover a certain scene from a movie that I believe was from the early 2000s?
It had a very memorable scene in which a dirty pickup truck was driving down a hot dusty busy road somewhere in Mexico with a coffin in its flatbed that falls off the back when it hits a bump. As the coffin hits the dusty ground it breaks apart to reveal a young brunette woman, who is naked, scared, dirty, bound & painted with some tribal designs all over her body.
Can anyone recognize this film or the actors in it?:confused:

But I prefer to focus on the actress, rather than the character.
I wonder how she would've felt on that shoot day, leading up to & during the moments that scene was shot?

I think all I'm doing is projecting how I would want the plot to go.

Based on the bleeding, and the fact that she has to write down what she wants to say, the character probably had her tongue cut out. This and the tone of the scene take any eroticism of the actress's nudity right out for me.

The scene I recall had a gang of 4 twenty-something male streetgang members lead a twentysomething latina girlfriend of theirs down a back-alley corridor to a small stack of dirty mattresses where they take turns smoking up & getting high, then ripping all of her clothes off & taking turns with her under the light of midday, while she struggles & screams as she tries to stop them ...unsuccessfully.
