The Free the Nipple campaign
 

Good news on the public nudity front. In the spirit of the go topless movement, a new campaign has emerged within the past year to free the female nipple from bondage. Thats right, the "Free the Nipple" campaign originated in response to a 2014 film of the same name which apparently had some problems getting by the censors. With that, a new public nudity event was born.

Here is a link to an excellent, hi Q video at youtube showing UCSC (University of California at San Diego) students doffing their tops in large numbers in broad daylight, all in the interests of freeing the nipple. This is a significant event, especially for SoCal which sort of frowns on this sort of thing! Over in Sexy Amateurs, Bobcat99 started a thread covering "free the nipple" stuff in Iceland. Otherwise, I don't see much at OCC, nor do I know yet if clips or screencaps from the movie are up.

"Free the Nipple" happened in NYC in 2014 in Union Square. Did only one woman participate? Judging from the pics below, yes. But maybe there were more participants..

Why is she protesting? It's been legal for women to be topless in New York state for decades...Since 1992, I believe...

Though of course more women should be exercising that freedom.
