Status of construction?
 

We heard that there are some major construction going on for roads, pavements etc. improvements in the naturist part near Port Ambone. Anyone knows status of these constructions? Will it be advisable to go to Cap d'Adge in next 8 weeks if construction is not complete?

We are at Port Nature 8 for two weeks yet and leave tomorrow. Work is going on during day from Monday to Friday.
We never had problems to go to Port Ambonne. It seems that de improvements will be terminated before the first of July.

Still going on July 1st. Main works now completed but bits of finishing still going on.

It is a big improvement to the Port Ambonne area. From what we could make out the reforms will contine down the road to the sea front next winter.

Port Ambone promenade looks really nice now. Shops and restaurants on that marina side will do great going forward.

Very disappointing
 

Me and my wife just spent 2 days at the cap.
It was the first time we went there.
Very very few mid age or young couples.
80% of couples were in the 60/70s.the only thing we enjoyed very much was the possibility to wear kinky dress for my wife .

Hello, dear Capdagde2018. We just spent 2 weeks at the Cap and cannot agree with your posting. Did you discover the whole area? Apero time at 1664, always nice to watch people. Did you enjoy parties at Glamour Beach, Jardin d' Eden and Babylon. Did you discover the whole beach, as far as Marseillan-plage? Restaurant in the evening, Melrose and the clubs? We have to admit that is was busier the week of 6 july than the week of 13 july. Something we also found rather strange. Please give CDA a second chance and go back when you can. August is high season. Enjoy!

We were there for nearly three weeks June into early July. While the age group during the week goes up there are still many 30-under 60 year olds there. At the weekends there is always an influx of youngsters out to party. Even before the high season Melrose was too busy a number of times to get in. The bars along by Melrose through to Waiki were full of youngsters most nights into the early hours all of the time we were there.

Yes there are a lot of middle aged and older couples at Cap (us included) but if you look in the right places there are plenty of younger ones as well.
As stated by another poster, if you go to the foam or pool parties, the Melrose and other bars in Port nature there are lots, especially at the weekends.
We were a bit disappointed this year but for different reasons. For us there seemed to be a shortage of decent single guys in the clubs. Lots of North African types who's idea of swinger etiquette is popping their cock through their zip and trying to stick it in any available hole but, compared to previous years, very few in the 35-55 age range.
We didn't do much in the way of photo's this year but below is one of Mrs next to the Bodega bar pool.

If you search Youtube for "W5 Visits Nudist Colony In 1984" you will find a short documentary made by a Canadian news channel about the nudist quarter in Cap D'Agde in 1984 before it became overrun with elderly swingers. My apologies if this is already been posted here.
