Placards - only a minority who support a cause are willing to be nude/topless. PETA has a number of top models willing to pose, for free, at least hidden nude in their anti-fur campaigns. So they should be be able find a few female volunteers willing to pose topless and even to find one who is pregnant. The fact that this thread has so many examples of nude protests suggests there is probably no need to pay anyone.

I think the only partial exception to this may be FEMEN, where it is alleged that that some have been paid - but that might be propaganda.

I seen pics of celebrities appearing on magazines covering their naked bodies with animals for PETA support.. I wonder how many of them came in public naked protests.. 🙂
