I tried 'Recuva', but no luck, I'll try it later on a mate's laptop, direct into the PC as my card reader does not work. I have just found two older SD cards, these will give me 30 minutes video each, so I should be OK for a while until I buy a new card, if the corrupt one cannot be formatted. No time to upload any video today, but look out for some new stuff within the next 24 hours.

I've just asked on our local photography forum which software they recommend for such cases, and they told me to use PhotoRec.
http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec It's free and work magnificent. ;) When you get mate's card reader, if anything else can't help, maybe PhotoRec will. |

you could also try with PhotoRec (cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec), Iīve rescued tons of pics with this programm from a broken sd-card, although itīs a bit tricky to use it for the first time. However, GOOD LUCK! |
Thanks guys, I think I have pulled the files off via a laptop and put them on a USB stick. If that works when I get back, all is OK.

I spent most of my spare time recovering the lost footage from yesterday and have now got most of it. The video camera now tells me to format my SD card (without giving me any hints how!), but another older camera is happy to use it!
I have found enough older cards for an hour's video, so it should not hold things up. The weather may do though, more winds and rough sea forecast tomorrow:mad: Here are caps of what I thought I had lost, more video as soon as I can get it done. |

Time for a quick bonus video.
I thought that this girl was the same one as in the previous video, as she came along and went to exact location with a boyfriend who looked the same and another couple, about 90 minutes after the originals had left. It was only when I saw this footage, that I realised it was just an odd coincidence:o. It was the shape of her pubes that alerted me to this fact, what does that say about me nowadays!:D:D:D Look out for more of this girl though, no more FF, but a CLOSE UP look at het bottom as she lay on her front only 8 feet from the video camera! You've said, Pedro, that you have an artist's temperament, and so you're highly critical of your own work. Which is fair enough, but for those of us out here in OCC land I think that the approach is that we're better off having them -out of focus shots- than not having them at all.

A late afternoon trip to my local beach gets me about 45 minutes of video, actually having to swap SD cards mid session! I think it was worth it, how about two very cute and the fully nude college girls below? As I left the beach, a little further up, there were two more! I think the Uni's have now started vacation here:D:D

I passed a few girls and and a guy who left early, but that still left about 7 women and 4 guys, roughly. They spent the afternoon playing cards and drinking games, with trips to the water from time to time. I need a break from the beach, keeping alert for both chances of video and from not being discovered by either the subject or the many 'walking voyeur' men that stroll contantly around make for a very tiring day in 30C.
