Yes I noticed her too (although I'm impressed you're on first name terms, Stay Puftbr). Looking at the sequence, I think one of the actresses grabbed the camera to give her time to disrobe - and so I'm very grateful to the lady concerned for these shots.

Some superb ladies from the audience stripped yesterday, one even when through a little tease before getting it all off, sweet face, large breasts and a huge smile on her face for the dance. One of the best so far, nudity starts about 155.00 or a little after.

a bit of a strange comment but: although this isn't porn, i start to get the "partyhardcore" problem, for those of you that know the site, where an actor starts to undress a woman from the audience, only to pan away right before it gets good. very frustrating.

About a year ago they had a page where one could buy two boxes of DVDs, of very old plays. One box was of the 5 volumes of 'Os Sertões', and the other one was of 4 old plays, I don't remember their names now.

You can search and find all the 5 videos of 'Os Sertões' at hemisphericinstitute, plus additional material, like pdf's with the script. They are the very same videos of the DVDs, but perhaps they lack the subtitles (I don't remember) and I don't know of a decent way of downloading that flash stream stuff to a video file. My favorite part of 'Os Sertões' is 'O Homem 2', because there are very good naked audience scenes. And consider this was like 14 years ago.

Now that webpage where they sold the DVDs does not exist anymore. I dimly remember of lots and lots of those boxes of DVDs at the entrance of the theater, and I was amazed at how much they are wanted by people on the Internet but, at least by my moment's perception, people who went to the theater didn't seem to be buying them. I wouldn't bet all those boxes have been sold, perhaps they are lost at some of the directors' or actresses' houses (since they do a lot of their work at home). But maybe my intuition of stuck DVDs is just plain wrong, who knows.

After they played 'Macumba Antropófaga' in 2011/2012 their website said they were preparing a DVD, but the following years I searched and searched and I convinced myself that they were actually never finished and people of the theater decided not to talk about it anymore. I just convinced myself, I might be wrong again. I think I had tried asking them by e-mail but got no response.

See, those streams are bad quality because they are made live, at the moment, there is probably limitation in bandwidth and 'editing' is largely by chance, selecting this one or that one camera. Preparing a DVD is very very expensive, it takes time and patience of skilled people. But of course the results are much better. Consider what they recently did with 'Bacantes' - they didn't make a DVD, but alongside the live streams they prepared a high quality version 'taking pieces of different presentations'. I'd bet they might do the same with 'Macumba Antropófaga'.

By the way, they recently lost their Petrobras funding and are looking for new ways of making money. I myself would pay lots for a collection of high quality edited versions of each one of the naked-audience-end-of-first-act-stuff, for each day the play has been and will be performed. If only they knew that and could prepare it somehow! You guys could help me bugging them about it at their Twitter, Facebook or at the live stream chat. If I did get time conversion right, naked audience in live stream has been starting Saturdays and Sundays at about 22:00 UTC, perhaps a little earlier.

At 2:36:20 a gorgeous curly haired girl is pulled from the audience. She can then be see resisting attempts to strip her at 2:39:50 and 2:42:20. After that I lose track of her but I'm guessing she left the stage. Am I right or does she end up naked which would be the hottest thing ever? Can somebody pinpoint me to any other moments in these videos where the girl is reluctant or embarrassed but ends up getting stripped? These are the hottest moments for me far more than the ones that just go along with it.

When the videos are recorded with very short and fast planes, many clues are lost of the girls of the public that undress. If you look good, in the video of naturist vimeo, you see several scenes at the same time, public that is stripped down in detail, wich does not happen in the videos of teatro oficina :(:(:(

yoda_jedi, your English is better than most Americans and Brits who post here, so no apology necessary. Far from it - this is great information. I do have a 2+ gigabyte downloaded copy of O Homem 2, and I'd be happy to excerpt some parts of it. It's almost 6 hours long, and I haven't watched it beyond a lot of jumping around, so I don't know where to look. If I could, I'd write up a "how to" about downloading whole files from that site, but I don't know of any way to do it that isn't incredibly difficult and technical. It's probably the hardest source I know of that I've been able to successfully grab files from. But if you give me some timestamps, I can make some clips to post.

And I agree, I'd love to have a way to buy something from them, and make sure they have enough funding to continue what they're doing. Though you're right that editing and preparing a final video is a huge part of the expense, they'd probably make some money if they cut out the rest of the expense of making a physical disc. If they did something like pay-per-view on Vimeo, they'd be able to cut out the cost of printing and shipping, and would also be able to easily sell worldwide.

At 2:41:15 gorgeous girl wearing a red top and skirt is taken from the audience. When it comes to the stripping she seems to be going along with it at 2:44:20 and can be seen smiling. At 2:44:51 we see a shot where her top has been removed and the skirt is in the process of being taken down. It seems a certainty that she's going nude but then we don't appear to see her again. I guess she had a change of heart but I'd really like to know when! She was about to be in bra and panties and it seems like a strong possibility that she she did end up naked or topless for a brief moment before changing her mind. Unfortunately the camera doesn't film in her direction for some time and then there's no sign of her. I would love to know how far she went. If only the camera would pick up the girls when they are being taken from the crowd (which in this case they did) and stay on them for the stripping. It's their reluctance and embarrassment that is truly exciting to me.

If you HAVE read all these posts and you're asking for something we HAVEN'T covered yet, please specify what "blocked by naxos" show you're talking about.

Thanks for the heads up, I did skim through but missed the mega link. You're not missing anything after the audience participation. They do seem to add a lot of girls as the event goes on but unfortunately we never see them being taken from the audience and stripping. So 18 more shows, I think I should get myself a plane ticket to Brazil! Would be able to see and capture all the good parts that way exclusively focusing on the girls being yanked from the crowd and stripped. With that many shows there's bound to be some amazing enf over the next couple of months. At least I hope so :)

There may be other good parts, but look at it starting around 4h24min, or a little before for completeness of the story. The naked actress represents Eve and the old guy - interpreted by José Celso, one of the founders of Teat(r)o Oficina - points at guys from the audience and asks her if she wants to marry each of those guys; after she refuses some of them, she asks to the one she has selected: "Take off your clothes, Adam!". The guy is brave enough to get completely naked, the audience applauds, he climbs to 'Eve' and eats the apple, and then the orgy of naked audience begins :D.

It is too crazy, I myself don't understand it. I mean, I know the language and the meaning of the words the actors are saying, but I cannot get very far to comprehend why they mix together the things that they mix.

What I do know from my Literature classes that I did not like very much, is that by around 1922 there was a movement of many artistic branches called "Modernismo". Some important landmarks of it are a painting one of the actresses recreates at the beginning of the play (after the street stuff), and a book of Oswald de Andrade, "The Cannibal Manifesto". It seems that its philosophy has something to do with 'eating' and incorporating other cultures the same way aborigine indians used to eat their defeated enemies expecting to get to themselves the good qualities those enemies had.

It seems it has also something to do with Brazil's history. Brazil is a mix of different cultures considering they received lots of immigrants from Europe and Asia between the World Wars. And a theme that is common to other plays is that they seem sad that when the Portuguese discovered the naked indians, it was the Portuguese who put clothes on the indians, instead of the indians getting the Portuguese - and Europeans in general - naked. In fact, right before they put those flags on some people of the audience, they refer to Brazil being 'covered' instead of 'dis-covered'.

And now it is my own interpretation that those flags covering the bodies represent the different ideologies getting us apart. The naked guy says "What hindered us from the truth were the clothes - that which is impermeable between the exterior world and the interior world." Then the actress calls the audience to strip: "It is now! The time has come! Those of you who want to get warm in this [polar/not so polar/solar - it depends on how cold it has been in São Paulo during the day] winter, come dis-cover your own body... by eating of the taboos THE taboo: getting naked!"

Then when the people are all naked they are all equal and can better see the truth; at some point the naked actor who shows a close up of his anus says and people sing: "The divine illumination! We are all... human creatures... equals! We are all... human creatures... equals!"

They say that before Europe 'covered' Brazil, Brazil (of the naked indians) had dis-covered happiness. There is a reference to Rousseau or something.

You guys might also want to read the following review. My intention when I started this reply was to just share this link, but then I started writing my own stuff (and now I see that perhaps I know more than I thought; but I still think it is totally crazy). It is the best review I have come across, even though (or specially because) it is written by someone not from Brazil. All the nakedness and specially that the audience gets naked is largely left unsaid in the brief reviews or ads that appear in local magazines and newspapers. I wonder if some of the people who end up naked had had no idea something like that might happen.

part ii. unfortunately the camerawork misses most of their undressing. the redhead seems to be giggling about having the actor undue her bra behind her, but then we miss the action until they pan down and she's just taken off her panties. same with the blonde, by the time they get to her, she's just been fully undressed.

the blond is fairly reserved, not moving around much with her body, but not hiding anything either. the redhead has a gorgeous body. there was also a girl with panties still on, i was too busy following the other two to follow her.

i didn't know they went on dancing and moving for so long. now i have to go back and watch them all again.

I found what may be an undress rehearsal dated May 26th. It's labelled as 'Act 1 and commentary', and Ze Celso, the older guy who is the company's artistic director, certainly gives some sort of talk towards the end of the video.

It also appears to be shot, at least at the beginning, in daylight and without an audience (at least one that's visible), so the pictures, I think, come out better.
